This extended drabble was based on a prompt by PiscesChikk who wondered what Fusco and Reese might say to each other on a coffee break after the traumatic events of Prisoners Dilemma and Dead Reckoning.

Shaw has a personality disorder that doesn't let her feel empathy, but it doesn't mean she hasn't noticed that John Reese and Jocelyn Carter are more than 'just friends' – even if they don't know it yet. This covers the conversation between Shaw and Reese as they watched Ian Murphy cook dinner for Carter in the episode Lady Killer. This was what was said. This is what Shaw heard.

John finds out that Carter has not only saved Elias from execution but that she's been hiding him for quite some time. This discovery leads him to take matters into his own hands and he becomes the man he once was while in the CIA. Will Carter allow him to execute his own brand of justice?

A clarification about John's 'wife' may lead to more between him and his preferred detective.

AU Extreme circumstances bring about a fateful meeting between John and Joss. Both are reeling from loss, seeking to forget and move on with their lives. A chance encounter brings about the chance for healing, but something happens to change the course of their lives forever.

Non related scenes give us a glimpse of how Reese and Carter relate to each other on a personal level, how their interaction draws them closer to understanding one another and how it causes their connection to become deeper.

This is a sequel to the one shot titled Dark Terrors where Reese offers comfort to Carter after Taylor was recovered from Elias. It's September 11th and haunting dreams and memories force Reese to seek the comfort he finds in Carter.

This takes place directly at the end of In Extremis. This one shot explores a possible conversation between Carter and Reese when she goes to meet him to return Bear. Rated T for certain themes and sensuality.

At one point we were left with Nico and Dani on the porch and my imagination was really not happy with that, but then life is complicated isn't it? And well, so are these two. This may have started on the porch, but that isn't where this ends. My story takes a turn and the characters end up somewhere they never would in the TV show, unless this was HBO. M: for many reasons.

Happens directly after John is released from Rikers in Prisoner's Dilemma. An alternative ending to the one we got where they were captured by Donnelly. The name of the fic is from the song playing while he was being released. It's by The Who.

A violent intrusion brings certain issues to the forefront for Carter and Reese.

Eighth Installment - Work goes on for the men of Team Machine regardless of the life that surrounds them. Is it all worth it though? Being these nameless guardian angels? Con't from Truth or Dare - A new number is up; a man who has inadvertently created the best disguise for himself. But, he can't stay hidden forever, which makes for some unusual situations for John, Harold, and, as of very recently, Sam.

Reese makes an emergency trip to Philadelphia, gives dating advice to a manipulative, well-meaning teenager, and is happy he was wrong for once.
