Updates will be whenever inspired

Basically, I write because I love it. I do have other works, short stories, attempts at novels and lengthy bildungsromans which have been going on for years, but seem far too personal to ever see the light of day. At the moment Light Shines Brightest In The Darkness is an expression of my love for Harry Potter, and a reimagining of what it might be like if a certain Harry James Potter was in fact replaced with Tempestas Lily Potter, and her adventures thereafter. Blood We Choose is a continuation of that, and a work in progress.

Quality may be a fluctuating thing, as I first began writing LSBD when I was thirteen, and in the seven years since, it has been revised, edited and rewritten time and time again. BWC is a bit younger, and I began writing it before I'd finished LSBD, so it's only about three years old. I'm not a particularly fast writer, or easily satisfied, so writing is as much a frustration as it is a joy.

The Various (Mis)Adventures in the Life of Tempestas Potter is a sort of spin off set of ficlets that do relate to the events of LSBD, seeing as Tempest IS in it. Some of the stories inside will be in canon (I'll state whether it is or isn't) and some will be wildly out of the blue, crossovers and the like.

About me: Well, I have a close friend who once called me crazy. I returned the remark and she replied, "yeah, I'm weird crazy. You're concerningly crazy." I figure that sums me up.

(Additionally, if anyone was interested and in search for something fun, an example of my earlier writing, I think c. 2010 and a massive if rather misguided fan of the self-indulgent novels following Twilight, is Stuck Together. I gave the story to Wolfgirl706 to finish, who I understand has made her changes to the story and tied it up neatly.)
