Author has written 5 stories for Your lie in April/四月は君の嘘, and Naruto. The pics I use for covers and stuff aren’t mine for the most part. ITS SO FREAKING AMAZING!! If anyone's interested, here's how to make it. Ingredients: Glutinous rice flour Water Sugar Matcha green tea powder (I use a latte mix) Red food coloring Toothpicks or shish-kabobs cut in half How to make it: 1. Divide your rice flour into three bowls. Generally speaking, you need around a cup or so of flour in each bowl. 2. Add some sugar to each bowl. If you're using a matcha latte powder, you don't need to add sugar. Around 3 Tablespoons should be fine. 3. For the matcha, if you're using tea powder, add a couple teaspoons to the dry mix. If you have a latte mix, roughly 2 Tablespoons are needed. 4. Mix all the bowls of dry mixture together well. 5. Add a 1-2 drops of red food coloring to a cup of water. Set aside more water for the other two bowls. 6. Slowly, a little at a time (Very Important), dribble plain water into the matcha mixture and one of the bowls with plain flour and sugar. Mix it together, don't add too much water or you won't be able to make the shape. 7. When the consistency of the green and white doughs are what you want, (it should be stiff enough to easily mold into balls, but should not "splatter" or be overly sticky), add the red tinted water to the last bowl and do the same. 8. When you have the mixtures ready, roll the dango dough into ball shaped pieces and set aside. 9. You'll need to boil a pot of water. When it's ready, drop the dango into the water. 10. You can take it out when the dango floats back up to the top, around 3-5 minutes. 11. Drain the dango and let it cool on a plate. 12. String the dango onto the shish-kabob/toothpicks. The order is; green on the bottom, white in the middle, and pink on top. 13. Enjoy! And thats pretty much it. I'm not a particularly interesting or social person...so yup. (亝艸亝) |
