To give you some frame of reference, I'm a girl in college. I tend to become mildly obsessed with a particular fandom, regardless of whether or not I'm actually familiar with the canon, and then move on to whatever I run into next and eventually recycle through previous obsessions when I lose patience with the latest. Apparently I have a weakness for time travel fics and other AUs. Prolonged exposure to anime/manga fandoms has rather predictably resulted in an addiction to yaoi, especially kakairu and FFVII. No, I'm not a fan of Naruto, Harry Potter, YuGiOh, or a few of the other fandoms I read in. In my opinion, the fanfics for those fandoms are much better than the canon.

I'm a reader. (Look at the name...) Yes, I have one story here, but I haven't written fiction for myself in years. Instead, I spend nearly all my free time reading whatever I can find. I rarely leave reviews just to say "this story is wonderful." If I like the story I'll continue on to the next chapter or look for more stories by that author. I review to point out things that confused me or didn't seem quite right, like typos and plot holes. I am a bit of a stickler for grammar and word usage. Often I end up leaving reviews that are mostly half irrelevant questions about small points. That said, I don't try to edit every story I find that needs it. If the story is badly written, I move on to another without reviewing.

If you're looking for something to read, I highly suggest that you look at my favorites list. Most are just fun, but there are a few absolutely beautiful stories.
