I have an extremely bad habit of not finishing stories, something of which I am desperately attempting to fix so please have patience with me. And by patience I mean feel free to message me to get my a$$ back in gear!

No matter what I type/say, I do not mean to offend anyone on this sight at all. If I say something that offends you, please tell me and I will apologize. Also, everything I post (critiques, yada yada) I only do because I am interested in your writing and story and want to help you make it more enjoyable. When it comes to reviews I say the first things that come to my mind--whether it be comments, likes, or dislikes, and I try to focus on how the story is written. That being said, I am in no way a professional and everything is only suggestion.

Current

The first time on the bridge, the Kyuubi broke free of the seal, if just a little. The second time on the bridge, the Nine-Tailed Fox brought something else with it. "Kakashi-sensei," she began, attempting to focus in on the blurry illusion. It was of a man, holding an orange mask, with one red eye blazing. "Who is Obito?" A different kind of time travel. Fem!Naru

Based around the concept of Canon Divergence allowing for more world building of the Elemental Nations and how this difference in paths affects the relationships and events of the story. Therefore, this story will be slow and involve a lot of non-canon elements in order to explore that which I think Kishimoto woefully ignored. For this reason, suggestions and requests as to what you want this story to touch upon is welcome!

This story also operates under the premise that Kaguya isn't real and never happened. Because in my mind it didn't so I'll happily ignore it. The hierarchy of evil-doers ends with Madara and Obito and his Eye of the Moon plan (sorrynotsorry).

Week of 1/14/18 - First chapter reposted; needs to be revised/beta'd

The first version of this I got a lot of feedback on it just being a rehash of canon; that critique was very true. I had almost 7 pages of (in my opinion *winks*) wonderful narrative and exposition, but it was all just canon with nothing different at all. I tried to fix that in the redo, and cut out almost all of it, breaking my heart. Starting this chapter, and hence this story, without that exposition was amazingly hard for me as I'm a writer who feels a need to focus on every tiny detail as well as lead up to a scene (like you need to know who the character is first, with excruciating detail, and why they are where they are, with excruciating detail) so it was a hard transition. I tried to use this... feeling and anxiousness to write the chapter and I think it bled through (a little too well). I'm revising it to make it, hopefully, more fullbodied, but other chapters will come first. Thank you all for the warm welcome back!

Week of 2/4/18 - Second chapter reposted; needs to be revised/beta'd

I remember this chapter almost solely for the reviews I received. It was the most mixed reaction chapter I’ve gotten in since I started here, where half (or more) of the reviews posted stated outright that they didn’t like it for several reasons or didn’t understand it… Personally, I felt gratified with those reviews because it was SUPPOSED to be confusing (and honestly not much I can do about people not liking it so *Shrugs*).

This new version is another stepping stone to my writing, since it’s the first chapter I’m truly changing my pacing whereas the first was more an exercise on the writing itself. A lot of you older readers will likely see the big differences, and I hope you enjoy this subtler version a little better… hopefully. Unless it’s too subtle *tears up*

Kakashi’s viewpoint was of particular importance to me. I wanted to make sure he came off as competent, and still an extremely powerful/professional jounin despite his weakness… it’s currently where I think a revision would be geared towards. I’m extremely worried that this chapter is bogged down by unnecessary detail again *cries* I also… kinda channeled a little too much Luffy and One Piece into Naruto here? *Laughs nervously* IDK I tried so hard and lost myself and found myself and w.e I hope you all like it hopefully or something…

Went back and ruminated on what I wrote: I'm still trying to fix some repetitive wording and phrases in this chapter as well as adding some more Naruto OOMPH in her part (that last one is really niggling at me)

Week of 6/24/19 - Third chapter interlude posted; needs to be revised/beta'd

I have a lot to say about this chapter (and my extreme absence), but would rather not bore you. I had many issues deciding how to proceed with this story, wrote a lot of stuff and realized I hated it, restarted, took a break, came back...etc. I ended up coming back to the idea of the fact that Naruto should be having some immediate s/s of what happened to her to a much more obvious degree than last time due to several reasons I hope to flesh out at a later date. Still, I feel like this chapter is lacking (maybe because it's short) and that it's a little ostentatious or dramatic? Yeah. I hope you guys got enough small bits of characterization and consequence from Naruto and Kakashi both. Hopefully I'll get more done soon.
