... what to write??? okay well my name is mattie, male, I live in Perth, Australia. I love to draw, sing and dance... normally making a fool out of myself. I also love love love clubbing (there is nothing like dancing the nights away with friends, hot boys and vodka), it pretty much rules my weekends and Wednesday nights. I don't consider myself a writer but I do enjoy putting pen to paper. He Took My Heart and My Fate Re-Written are complete, sequels coming hopefully around easter. Until then current works in progress are: Its Hard To Say There Is Nothing I Regret, The Broken Pieces That Make Me Who I Am, Fighting For Control and Strength Is Not Everything.

I have a few more ideas floating around so maybe once I've developed my current projects a bit more I'll try some of these ideas out. I would love love love to hear what you would prefer, what interests you more. :)

Ideas for upcoming Stories (all peetato):

1. He Took My Heart Sequel: currently working on a title (coming soon, hopefully after easter)

2. My Fate Re-Written Sequel: Choosing My Own Path

3. Fic loosely based on Teen Wolf, Peeta is bitten and has to work with Cato, and they fall for each other. Possible Title: Take A Bite Of My Heart (unsure if I want to go down the supernatural path since there is already a few really good fics out there already)

4. Fighting The Hunger: possible Cato point of view. Intense smut filled story. Possible Peeta is a hooker or roles reverse and Peeta pays Cato to rough him up. Dark.

5. Surviving His Love: ??? Could I really write a vampire story????

6. We Will Never Be The Same Again: modern AU Peeta finds out Cato has cheated on him and they try to reconnect and fix their fragile relationship.

7. Mr & Mr Smith: loosely based on the film Mr & Mrs Smith where Peeta and Cato are assasins living double lives until they find out they are working for competing agencies.

8. Beautiful Savages: very loosely based on the movie Savages. Peeta loves two men equally, they are the loves of his life and when he is taken hostage they must work together to get him back. They will have to be willing to do anything to get Peeta back. But one question remains, will it be enough? (Peeta/Cato/Marvel)

9. Before I Die: (inspired by the book) Peeta is dying, cancer has spread to the point of no return. Before he leaves this world he has a list of things he wants to do. But when he meets the boy that's moved in next door everything else seems irrevelant, this might be the one chance he gets to finally experience love.

10. What Is Love?: Peeta has been happy in a committed relationship for two years now. That is until he starts working with Cato, causing him to question everything he has previously felt. When so many emotions add up to mean the same thing and it being so easy to lose it or let it go how can he really believe in inconditional true love? (Gale/Peeta/Cato)

A good online friend of mine was recently forced to leave her fanfiction life behind due to an illness known as Celebrity Worship Syndrome. I believe that this syndrome can affect people's lives just as much as any other mental illness and I have decided to raise awareness for it as much as I can:

CWS: What is it? Celebrity worship syndrome is an obsessive-addictive disorder in which a person becomes overly involved with the details of a celebrity's personal life. Psychologists have indicated that though many people obsess over glamorous film, television, sport and popstars, the only common factor between them is that they are all figures in the public eye. The term Celebrity Worship Syndrome is in fact a misnomer. There are three stages: Simple Obsessional, Love Obsessional and Etromanic.

1) Simple Obsessional: Simple obsessional stalking constitutes a majority of all stalking cases, anywhere from 70%-80%, and is dominated by males. This form of stalking is generally associated with individuals who have shared previous personal relationships with their victims. However, this is not necessarily the case between a common member of the public exhibiting celebrity worship syndrome and the famous person with whom they are obsessed. Individuals that meet the criteria of being labelled as a “simple obsessional stalker” tend to share a set of characteristics including an inability to have successful personal relationships in their own lives, social awkwardness, feelings of powerlessness, a sense of insecurity, and very low self-esteem.

(2) Love Obsessional: Love obsessional stalking is the category that most celebrity stalkers fall into. As the name suggests, individuals who demonstrate this sort of stalking behaviour develop a love obsession with somebody who they have no personal relation to.

(3) Erotomanic: Erotomanic, originating from the wordErotomania, refers to stalkers who genuinely believe that their victims are in love with them. The victims in this case are almost always well known within their community or within the media, meaning that they can range from being small town celebrities or famous personalities from Hollywood. Comprising less than 10% of all stalking cases, Erotomanic stalkers are the least common.

So do you have CWS symptoms?

Say yes to the following and you may have low-level CWS:

My friends and I like to discuss what my favourite celebrity has done. I enjoy watching my favourite celebrity. Learning the life story of my favourite celebrity is a lot of fun.

Agree with these more intense feelings and you may have a moderate case:

I consider my favourite celebrity to be my soul mate. I have a special bond with my celebrity. I have frequent thoughts about my celebrity, even when I don't want to.

Agree with these and you may be obsessed, borderline pathological and suffering seriously from CWS:

If someone gave me several thousand pounds to do with as I please, I would consider spending it on a personal possession, like a napkin or paper plate, once used by my favourite celebrity. If I were lucky enough to meet my favourite celebrity, and they asked me to do something illegal as a favour I would probably do it. I would be very upset if my favourite celebrity got married.

I want to raise awareness of this increasingly growing problem. If anyone feels that they are having trouble or have CWS I am here to talk to them if they feel they need it.
