Short bio: I'm Charlie, generation 1977, and love the color blue. I read my first fanfiction back in February 1998, when I discovered that there were such things as those and that was some The X-Files fanfiction and I loved it. So much so, that I began writing fanfiction on my own. I only did post my first in 2005, which was not about The X-Files, but about another ship from another fandom. My general disclaimers can be found at the bottom of this profile.

ALSO: Please excuse the state of my fics, since not only are they badly written in a lot of ways, but also because there's a few in the 1st person POV. I used to not mind 1st person POV fics 10 years ago, but that kind of attitude towards those kinds of fics has definitely changed and now I just find them stupid and annoying. I won't delete any of them though, as they are a badge of honor regarding my fic writing efforts, so they'll stay despite everything.

Underlined are the OTP's of each fandom, should there be more than one ship (there can be two or three sometimes depending), though Mulder/Scully of The X-Files is the Mothership of them all, literally, as they did the formation of what is Shipping today and the first I've felt strongest for (just read the story of shipping and you'll know it). I had those 'shippy feels' about Riker/Troi of TNG and Kevin/Winnie of The Wonder Years before that, though Mulder/Scully hit me harder than any has before and after that. I tend to be ship the characters TPTB wants us to ship, aka Canon, or just implied by them and those are the ones I tend to ship too with most success, but there can be some divergences in it at times when I feel like some characters belong more with a different one, aka Fanon.

My Alternate Universes *SPOILERS mind you* (and some other thoughts on shipping etc). This is the last section, before general disclaimers, so just go up and hide this bio if you want to avoid being spoiled on a number of things. :)

Stargate: Atlantis:

Seasons 1-3 are the only seasons I acknowledge. Though Sunday doesn't exist in my universe for reasons, I'm keeping Submersion & Vengeance, then it goes AU from there ignoring First Strike/Adrift/Lifeline, I can go with that storyline though with certain modifications made and then taking off into the AU Land from thereon. I will completely ignore the rest of season 4 as well as all of season 5. Because I need both Elizabeth and Carson alive and well, in all human capacity, in Atlantis with the people they love, not tossed to the curb just because TPTB didn't really know what to do with the characters anymore. I detest them for that reason. I'll allow Keller's presence as a second medical doctor in Atlantis in my AU Land because it can get rather busy in the Atlantis infirmary.

Aliens (post-AU meaning movies 3&4 didn't happen):

Because I refuse to acknowledge the deaths of both Hicks and Newt, Alien 3&4 does not exist in my world. Ripley needs both people since she's already lost so much. Now with the 30. anniversary and the talks about an Alien 5 movie that ignores what happens in 3&4, aka the obnoxious annoying deaths of Hicks and Newt, there's hope with Ripley being alive and, hopefully, Hicks too. Glad we'll probably get a do-over to erase the stupid 3&4 movies.

Firefly:

Book and Wash did not die in the BDM. That's all...

Battlestar Galactica (the reimagined version):

Season 4 goes a lot more different, Kara doesn't suddenly turn 'Angel' and does not go so weirdly 'poof away' at the end of Daybreak. She actually lives and lives happily ever after with Lee. Roslin doesn't die, she and Bill will also live happily ever after. As in BOTH the Adama men does NOT lose the loves of their lives. That ending just makes me angry, despite how much sense that makes for the whole plot of the series.

Game of Thrones:

Anything beyond episode 8x04, like halfway through or so, does not count in my world and I don't recognize the character development assassination of many characters on the show and how they just did a turnaround without freaking caring at all. They could have handled certain things much much better. I feel like, without new material from GRRM, they made a lot of things up and crammed too much stuff into the 6 episodes that should have really been 8-10 to make everything make a lot more sense and with no senseless turns around on the proverbial platter with many characters greatest developments.

People that detest the twincest that is Jaime and Cersei, but turns around and ships Jon with Sansa and/or Jon with Dany makes me shake my head in bewilderment. Why? Well, Jon and Sansa are cousins. Jon and Dany are nephew and aunt. Just as disgusting as Jaime and Cersei.

I will ship Sansa with Sandor on some rare occasions if a fic involves the Jaime and Brienne ship as well as the Arya and Gendry ship, but my main squeeze to ship her with is Tyrion. Shipping Theon with Sansa is also way too close for comfort to me, as they practically grew up as pseudo-siblings, despite Theon being a literal hostage at first but he did mainly grow up at Winterfell.

Arya and Gendry say it all and my headcanon is, that if they don't stay in Westeros, either married residing at Storms End or elsewhere, they will still boarding a ship that will take them to explore the west of Westeros, whether married or not. They seem to just want to be with one another, one way or the other.

My headcanon for Bran is, that after The Long Night and the death of the Night King, the connection Bran had with the Night King is gone and he slowly returns to himself, though still retaining some greenseer abilities. Once Bran feels more like himself, he'll reconnect with Meera to apologize, leading to a friendship, then a romance and marriage eventually. He will also not be made king, but lord husband to lady Meera of Greywater Watch.

Shipping Dany and Jorah just make so much more sense to ship overall, since, first and foremost, no 'cest involved there. Tormund Giantsbane, you're funny in an annoying way, but stay away from Brienne, she belongs with Jaime.

My Holy Trinity of GoT (show) ships:
1) Jaime/Brienne 2) Arya/Gendry & 3) Tyrion/Sansa where I would love to have a fic where they are all included, adding my other 2 for good measure, but I cannot have that since it seems that you have wade through a sea of fics that has the colossal stupidity of a 'cest ships that are Jon/Sansa or Jon/Dany in it with 1 & 2. Or just some other combination that I do not agree with.
