I'm a writer with a bad habit of not posting new chapters for months on end, mostly because of being caught up in the stories my roleplay characters are living. My current, totally unfinished, seriously don't start reading because then you'll be sad when I don't update for six months stories are on Ao3, under the name MidnightMaelstrom (my regular name, which someone took here and isn't even using! T.T), and soon enough there will be a ridiculous crossover between Harry Potter and the world of Dystopia Rising that I'm (slowly) co-writing with a friend. Don't read that either, as it's got way too much OC action (as is somewhat necessary when writing based on a world that is primarily made up of player characters who all are the stars of their own stories simultaneously, but still!) and all sorts of references to absurd psudoscience, amoral mindsets, and the power of combining the best of both worlds to create ridiculous crossover situations - all referencing a LARP you probably haven't played anyway, but that you should because it's awesome and absolutely worth your time. *beams*

On a more fanficy note, you should also absolutely read pretty much anything written by Colubrina and Dracosoftie, and most of what dulce.de.leche.go and Shayalonnie have done too. I mean, if you like Harry Potter and good writing and engaging stories, that is. *grins*Oh, and FlitterFlutterFly has the most delicious Sherlock Holmes BDSM slash fic that follows the first season of the BBC show and I'm pretty sure it's my favorite fanfic in the history of ever. *grins even more*
