I got hooked on Draco/Harry slash when I read "Allegiance and Sedition" by Silent Auror and "Gold Tinted Spectacles" by Beren. In my opinion, these are two of the best stories I'd ever read and I don't say that lightly. I recommend them all the time whenever I see someone ask for novel-length good slash fics.

Types of Stories I like:

Hurt/Comfort: Anything that involves rescuing Harry from Dursley/Death Eater abuse. Bonus points if Harry's emotionally scarred from the ordeal and they have to help him feel safe/confident again. I can pretty much read them all, even graphical horrific accounts of rape and child abuse. I won't write it but I can read it. If there are feel-good/sad crying moments in them, even better. Emotionally charged stories are great.

Dumbledore Is Evil!: If Harry's rebelling and finding out Dumbledore lied to him about 99.9% of his life, more's the better.

All the mains being re-sorted: Goes right along with the item below this.

Harry/Draco Re-sorted Slytherin/Gryffindor: Goes right along with the item below this.

Harry Gets His Revenge: Everyone thinks he's evil, he killed his best friend(s) - throw him in Azkaban! They find out he's innocent, and try to make it up to him, but he's having none of it!

Ron/Hermione/Molly/Ginny/Gryffindor/Dumbledore Bashing: I like seeing them get knocked off their high horse every now and then.

Happy endings: are a must!

Death fics: I don't care who you kill (especially if it's Ginny) as long as it's none of my main pairings.

Romance: Junkie here! The more romantic the better.

Magical creature fics: Bring em on! I love the ones where Harry's comes into some kind of MC Inheritance and rebels against Dumbledore.

Mpreg: What's not to like about it? A pregnant main character is awesome.

Kinks: The only thing I won't read is necrophilia, scat play and watersports. 'Nuff sed.

HP Fanfiction Pet Peeves

Misspelled Character Names: Do you know how annoying it is to see misspelled canon names? I see it all the time. Lilly Potter, Blaise Zambini, Sirus Black, Hermyone, Macgonagall, and just recently, I read a fanfic where Draco's father was spelled Lucious. If you aren't sure of the spelling, for the love of JK Rowling and all that is holy, check the Harry Potter Wiki!!!

Author Notes: I absolutely loathe seeing this when I'm reading fanfiction: Long-as-fuck author notes or authors who respond to reviews at the beginning and end of each chapter. Send them a private message. Leave the notes at the end of a story. Just tell the damn story so I can enjoy it. Ugh!

And on that note: Author notes in the middle of the story...Drives Me Up A Wall! Quit it!

July 26, 2013 - Well...it's finally happened. I've had no muse to speak of for nearly a year and haven't had the urge to write anything in that amount of time. For now, it looks as if my days of writing fanfiction are done. I'm not saying goodbye, for the muse may strike me again someday. I'm simply saying, I'll see you when I see you. I will leave what I have here for everyone to enjoy. I do love getting notifications that people enjoy my writing. And who knows...I may get the urge to write again. :) Thank you all for reading and I hope to be back soon.

October 27, 2014 - I'm back, sort of, and I've gone through a name change to one I pretty much use everywhere. I've been writing some one-shots, the newest one "Unforgivable" getting some good reviews. I hope to continue the trend. Not up to a novel standard yet, and I was kicking around some ideas for one, but nothing solid yet. Stay tuned.

October 8, 2017 - I'm attempting a Jurassic Park/Harry Potter crossover fic. My first novel-length fic in nearly 4 years. Wish me luck.
