![]() Author has written 9 stories for Merlin, Inheritance Cycle, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. I'm a 21 year old university student currently living in Denmark. English is my third language (I've grown up with Danish and German) and this is mostly self taught because I never understood it when it was taught at school. I try to have a beta on most of my stories though. I like to spend my little free time either reading, writing or drawing. This makes for a sporatic update scedule, so I'll no longer write longer stories chapter by chapter. This will also improve my writing a lot, because it means plot holes can be easier avoided (and I won't write myself into a corner as easily either). If you're curious/confused/angry etc. about anything you're welcome to write and I'll do my best to answer as quickly as possible. Section last updated: 18.07.19 (18/07-19) News: Not dead and still writing, though mostly original work at the moment. Did finish the first draft of an one-shot that had been bothering me. Because I needed more works in progress ... Updates: Stories in progress 1. Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians Name: Hamartia Form: Multi-chapter Status: First draft/late planning stage. Chapters: Prologue (revised draft, 2294 words), Chapter 1 (First draft, 5178 words), Chapter 2 (Draft half done, 2808 words), Chapter 3 and 4 (Planning stage, 2k words), Chapter 5 (First draft, 5652 words). Words written in all: 19635 (2470 on the sequel) Posted on: NA Comment: The full story should be between 25-35k, not including the sequel(s). Don't expect the story posted soon though. I have stuff enough to write 3 stories in the series (probably), but I'm not yet sure if I'll ever write the third one. Who knows if I even get to post the first. 2. Fandom: Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Alex Rider Name: Tyche (might change) Form: One-shot Status: First draft complete Words: 2421 Posted on: NA Comment: Seeing as it's only from Alex' P.O.V and does not actually include any main characters from Percy Jackson, I might need someone with knowledge of Alex Rider to look at it to see if the characterisation is done just halfway right. Beta: SuperSeriousAuthor has been so wonderful and kind to offer his service as a beta reader. Now I have a reason to write quicker, and it will no doubt improve my stories a lot. Pronunciation of spells: I'm sorry, the site no longer exists. A Twisted World info: Norwallia: the Latin name for Gwynedd, the kingdom where Dinas Emrys was build. Dinas Emrys was the castle/tower which was said Ambrosius Aurelianus (later sometimes written as Merlin Emrys) had been given by Vortigern, after he had told the king that he would never be able to build his tower there, because of two fighting dragons under the fundation. (Sometimes it is said that Merlin was two differn't persons; one by the tower and one with king Arthur - sometimes it is Merlin as a child by the tower.) Glaslyn: The ruins of Dinas Emrys lies by Afon Glaslyn, the Glaslyn river in english. It is close to Snowdonia, and is thought to maybe have been build to protect the pass of Snowdon, but I've not researched much about it and everything, including how the surrounding land looks like, is only losely based on a this reseach and a few pictures I could find. Gauness: Sir Lionel in the original stories later became the King of Gauness. Picture used as avatar: taken at the West Coast of Denmark :) |
