![]() Author has written 16 stories for NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS, and Castle. I am not a writer of any sort ... good, bad, or ugly. I just have too much empty space in my head and sometimes I have an idea for a story that I would love to see written in a book, on a T.V. show, or in a movie. I enjoyed the stories on FanFic so much, I let some people talk me into doing it myself. My favorite story topic will always be NCIS:Los Angeles and specifically, Kensi and Deeks ... they are my favorite TV characters. I've just recently fallen into the world of Castle, and am slowly building an affection for Kate and Rick's story ... well, I was until the train wreck that was Season 8. Wow. I've rarely seen such a great show go down the drain so spectacularly (I find solace on Fanfic, where some very talented writers put out tales better than anything the show gave us). I spent four years in the United States Marines (Honorable Discharge). I have lived in Okinawa for a year, and I've visited England, Scotland, Panama, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, Spain, Germany, and South Korea. And whatever you do ... don't mess with my Marines! I may not be as young as I once was, but I still eat concertina wire for breakfast, piss napalm and I can put a round through a flea's ass at 300 yards. I serve as a volunteer firefighter and was once an Emergency Medical Technician. I love the outdoors and archery is the latest activity I have picked up (traditional and modern; I have three bows: a recurve, compound, a traditional long-bow that I made myself). I built my own metal working forge and the first knife I made I gave to my daughter (actually, she took it from me and I didn't take it back). I live in rural Georgia (the one right above Florida not the one in the Caucasus region of Eurasia) with my wife, my daughter (who is now a sophomore in college), one dog (Mya), and 4 cats (Addie, Alana, and Maxwell). My son recently moved to Moscow (yes, the one in Russia) and has a wife named Vera (we miss them dearly). Favorite Books: The Hobbit The Lord of the Rings Gates of Fire (Imagine '300' from a more historically accurate viewpoint) Anything by Stephen King and Dean R. Koontz The Medicus series by Ruth Downie The Bourne Trilogy by Robert Ludlum Star Guard The Dark Tower Trilogy The Bregga Path Duology The War Against the Chtorr My Favorite Movies: Star Wars (ANH, ESB, ROTJ) (Luke ... I am your father!) Indiana Jones (ROTLA, TTOD, TLC) (I'm making this up as I go) 300 (You want them ... come and take them!) The Hobbit (Precious ... my precious) The Lord of the Rings (I will take it ... but I do not know the way) Shawn of the Dead (We're going to the Winchester!) The Three Amigos (The Amigo Salute!) Battle: Los Angeles (You're the bravest Marine I've ever met) Black Hawk Down (This is my safety) Gone With The Wind (Frankly my dear, I don't give a d* ... best movie line EVER!) The Wind and The Lion (Prepare to charge the Palace! Charge! ... OOOhh freaking Rah!) Highlander (There can be only one!) Avatar (You go where the Banshees are ... Oorah!) A Few Good Men (You can't handle the truth!) Gladiator (What we do in life, echoes in eternity) Conan the Barbarian 1982 (What is steel compared to the hand that wields it?) Favorite TV shows: The Walking Dead (Zombies and the story starts in Georgia ... couldn't ask for more!) NCIS: Los Angeles (Densi .. Finally!) Castle (Well, up until season 8 anyway.) Home Improvement (I've had to drive myself to the emergency room while bleeding ... just like TIm) King of Queens (Just waiting for Carrie to dump Doug ... in the river) That 70's Show (I grew up in this time period ... and love the flashbacks) Fraiser (totally neurotic brothers) Big Bang Theory (Sheldon reminds me of I guy I knew in highschool) Sponge Bob Square Pants (sorry, Patrick makes me laugh) Favorite Ships: Densi (Deeks/Kensi) - stories with a Callen and Kensi romance literally turn my stomach like a stale burrito ... it just doesn't work. Caskett (Rick and Kate) - ... and then the writers had to screw it all up because the lead actor and actress decided to act like a couple of prima donnas. |
