Since I can't put this at the bottom, I apologize to those who just want to know a little more about me. Feel free to skip the next few paragraphs.

To all pro and anti abortionists:

My father, back in the early seventies, knew a catholic girl who liked to ah, "party around." Of course, in case of the possibility, there would be no chance of abortion. In 1973, her senior year, she gave birth to a lovely young boy. That put a bit of a damper on her social life, and she blamed the child for it. The kid's mother hated him, or at least acted like it. As it turned out, he might've done better to be aborted. At age fifteen he was killed in a gang fight. His mother took that to heart, and when she settled down with her Mr. Right, she made sure to remember what happens when one makes kids feel unwanted.

There are quite possibly many stories just as bad, if not worse than the one of poor, unwanted Jeff. By the definition, I was aborted. It was late in the pregnancy, and I was viable, but had the doctors been banned from "forcibly ending the pregnancy" (a definition of abortion) my mother and I might not be here today, nor would my beautiful and wonderful little sister.

A religious leader has said that while life begins at conception, the decision to abort is between the mother, the doctor, and God, and that the mother MAY consult with her husband.

It is not a political issue. It is a medical and personal issue. If you object, imagine how you would feel if a woman in your life was told she might die if she didn't abort. You can't truly tell her to die simply because the baby has a life, right? A life that wouldn't survive easily without her.
