Hey there! Just started out writing fanfic. That probably means I'll run into the common problems most newbie fanfic writers experience. With that in mind, I welcome constructive criticism and suggestions - if you think that my pace is too rushed or too slow, the plots and characters aren't believable, jokes are falling flat, or that I've created horribly cliched Mary Sues and Gary Stus, tell me.

Also, I'm mainly writing because I've found it to be a good way to de-stress. So while I'd love to take lots more time out to think up interesting plot twists or make the story flow smoother, that probably won't happen. I'll make improvements if my weak points are pointed out, but fanfic's not gonna be my life. That being said, updates might be sporadic, though I'll definitely not abandon any fics without prior notification.

STORIES I'D LIKE TO SEE:

1. Snape-Star Trek crossover: In the wake of the loss of their home planet, Vulcans are slowly dying. Snape is going to have to use his Potions skills to find and cure this malady, much to his disgruntlement ("For Merlin's sake, I'm NOT a Healer, I'm a Potions Master you dunderheads!") But are their deaths natural? Snape will just have to find out!

2. Snape-Pirates of the Caribbean crossover: The Dark Lord has discovered that Snape is a spy - and has decided to test out some new punishments. After locking his magic, the Dark Lord throws him into the Muggle world during the Middle Ages. Hoping to get back to Hogwarts, where someone might possibly release the lock on his magic, Snape boards a ship. Which is subsequently boarded by pirates. Can Snape's luck never improve?

3. Snape-Lord of the Rings crossover: Snape enjoys this new land he's in. The place is beautiful, the magic is thick, and the people are tolerably pragmatic. But the people don't love him. Elves fear the darkness they feel within his soul, and suspicion rises at their discovery that his Animagus form is a crow. It doesn't help when Severus realizes that his Dark Mark is still active, the Witch King is actually a Dementor possessed by Voldemort and that the ring is his Horcrux. Is there any way Severus find acceptance and peace?

4. Snape-Naruto crossover: As a spell-creator, Snape well knows the dangers of experimentation. Thus, he isn't really surprised or troubled when his latest experiment to Apparate into a Fidelius-charmed area backfires and sends him to the Hidden Countries instead. In fact, he rather welcomes the change. What he doesn't welcome, however, is how he's being blackmailed into becoming a teacher again, this time to brats as young as six years old! And why does that loud-mouthed blonde orphan persist in following him about?

As for non-crossovers, I've got a few ideas I want to explore as well:

1. Hagrid may be big and stupid, but he's not irresponsible. At least, he tries not to be. When Harry and his friends are caught while helping him save Norbert, Hagrid isn't going to push all the guilt on their shoulders! That one confession may change Harry's perceptions - after all, if all adults, even Hagrid, can take care of himself, then Harry won't need to, right?

2. Remember the strange brain which hooked onto Ron? Turns out it was the brain of a human-phoenix hybrid, which gave Ron knowledge and abilities beyond his dreams. Thus, when Ron's subsequently possessed by the locket, it somehow triggers his powers and he travels through time to 1984. Now's his chance to grab his young best friend and teach him what it means to have a father. Mentor! Ron.

3. Voldemort becomes the Master of the Deathly Hallows. The Hallows, however, are terrible weapons in the hands of a madmen, and so reality is twisted and rages into confusion. When Harry attempts to snatch back the Hallows and put the world to rights, he is thrown back in time into Voldemort's spirit...while the Voldemort of the past is thrown into infant Harry's body. Harry must race against both Voldemort's to survive!
