I prefer reading fics than writing them, but I'm giving a shot at writing fics again;

I am a sucker for romance!!! Even if I like adventure too. So following, the Animes/Mangas I watched/read and the couples and/or characters that I like best. The order is chronological but the characters are in order of preference.

InuYasha:

Kagome/Sesshoumaru;

Sango/Miroku;

Shippo/Soten;

Kagome/InuYasha;

Ayame/Kouga.

I REALLY don't like Sesshoumaru/Rin... even if she grows up... just a personaly opinion...

Many people have compared Kagome to Sakura (Haruno from Naruto), but I disagree: Kagome (that has a lot more patience and lenience than Sakura) only 'sits' Inuyasha because 1) it's the only way to actually control him (since Inuyasha is the one to have 'super strenght' here) and 2) he actually earns it by doing wrong in front of the girl. Sakura only beats Naruto up because he annoys her (who does that?) or because she THINKS the guy did something stupid (that being true or not - and more often than not, it isn't - could the girl just ask before doing something so violent?).

And on another... Kagome is actually useful. There is no one else save for Kikyo (but let's ignore her a bit because for most of the series plus Kanketsu-hen, she was one vengeful...) that can detect the Shikon shards... between Kikyo and Kagome, Kagome has a much better personality (not to mention *A* personality at all).

The reason I don't like Kagome/Inuyasha all that much is pretty much the same reason I don't like Sakura/Sasuke. One side gives way too much without return. That is the gist of it. Unlike Sasuke thou, Inuyasha just keeps her hanging, stringing her along and that is just plain cruel. Inuyasha was honest in a single episode/chapter, when he asked Miroku why he couldn't keep them both (Kikyo and Kagome) and that is... beyond belief.

However, all in all, I really liked it... particularly since it's not too shonen, a few elements here and there but not all the time in every single struggle (cough Fairy Tail and Naruto cough)...

Not overly sure about the ending in Kanketsu-hen because Inuyasha would be 150 years old (even deducting his time sealed) according to the third movie, "The Swords of an Honorable Ruler"... so... Twilight Dilemma TM? Even if the second movie, "The Castle Beyind the Looking Glass", Kaguya wanting to absorve Kagome because she is "immune to the effects of time" and the fandom taking it to mean that Kagome is not aging, still... I like that headcanon but I can't help but feel that it would still have Twilight Dilemma TM.

I deeply love Sesshoumaru/Kagome, don't ask me why, I just do. *U*

SCC:

I think she is a little ridiculous and have to constantly remind myself that she is only ten (especially since Ohkawa Nanase wrote her character as being so 'shouty' while all the other ten year olds in the series behave a lot more like adults, regardless if they are 'into it' like Eriol, Tomyo and Shaoran or not, like Sakura's friends from school) but still cute.

Very well designed and the plot is pretty nice too, the movies too. Nanase kept in mind that Sakura and Shaoran were only ten and kept that 'puppy' love about it. Let's be honest: seeing two ten-year-olds even just kissing would be beyond creepy. They were cute and the development was really well thought out, especially in Shaoran's end.

Not too sure if I should watch Tsubasa Resevoir. From the little I know about it sounds so very confusing. Clones and timelines and multiverse and identities and what characters know what...

I really like it even if I think that Kishimoto killed off the wrong characters even if to 'motivate' the main cast or move the story along...and too many fillers...

I REALLY hate Sakura and she should be the one to get 'offed' not Neji, c'mon? They did an amazing job to 'redeem' him while Sakura only whined for the entirety of Naruto Classic that she was always 'behind' and did NOTHING to correct it until the very last episode (asking Tsunade for training... the Hokage? Really? And then Kishimoto just goes and 'that's perfect why not have the Hokage take on a no name FANGIRL while the Sandaime was right there all theses years with no pointers to Naruto?' With just that the argument of 'favoritism' (saying that the Hokage training just about anyone so Hiruzen couldn't take Naruto under his wing goes out the window).

Even in Shippuuden, she goes and have a decent fight (finally) and then never again. After all that, in the middle of a war when (again) Sasuke and Naruto had to haul her away from danger she goes all 'Sasuke-kun!'? WTH?

So yeah... Neji is killed but Sakura isn't? THAT is one HUGE WHT that I have. No that I want them to switch places but still...

Too shonen, as in... TOO shonen...

Anyway to conclude, I also think that Kakashi's genaration has a lot of unexplored potential. I especially like Shiranui Genma, Yamashiro Aoba, Namiashi Raido, Mitarashi Anko, Umino Iruka (duh), Tenzo Yamato, Yuhi Kurenai, Sarutobi Asuma, Gekko Hayate, Uzuki Yuugao, Morino Ibiki... and yeah, even Ebisu. Although we see a bit of it through fillers or flashbacks (mostly centered on Gai and Kakashi) I think there is so much more that could be done with Genma and Raido, for example, that were part of the Yondaime's elite bodyguard team and even taught the Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) by Minato himself...

I would have preferred a spin off centered around Kakashi's gen, or Minato's gen. For the entirety of Naruto series, the Yondaime was this legendary historical figure that no one could touch but we know exactly zero about him, is he from a civilian family? From a shinobi one, what made him want to be a ninja? We don't even know his parents' names... like... what? We don't know Naruto's grandparents... from either side. Even more than Kakashi's gen, we see nothing of how it was like for Minato's gen growing up. How Uzushio was like, what Kushina went through when it was destroyed, how it was like to grow up KNOWING that she had the Kyuubi in her and how different her situation was to Naruto's or even Mito's. So many parallels that are being missed! Like how different or alike Hizashi's attitude to the Main House was from Neji's, how Fugaku was like as a child, Inoichi was probably more confrontational than his daughter in combat, Shikaku seems more active than Shikamaru, Chouza seems more assertive and perhaps it was a result of growing up mid-War and it is completely different from what we have in Boruto because those are characters that we see as growups, we get know them better and what made them change or not instead of introducing new characters in a series that honestly, I only ever watch because of the older gen (Naruto's).

We know even less about the Sannin gen, we don't know how Orochimaru's parents died, whatever happened to Jiraiya's and... Jiraiya is basically in the same boat as Minato: we know zero about him. One of their peers was Hatake Sakumo (The White Fang/Shiroi Kiba) whose prowess made the Sannin's pale in comparison (as said in canon... CANON), the man was on par with high level Kage Ninja like Minato, Tobirama, Madara and Hashirama and we know less than zero about him... and this frustrates me to no end.

Shaman King:

Anna/Yoh;

I just love Osorosen Revoir (the main story too). How Anna and Yoh first met, that was beyond cute!!! Their relationship had everything to be 'mellow and grabby' but instead it is one of those quiet ones that they know each other so well that no words are necessary. They know how one feel for the other and are confident enough in themselves and each other, be in a fight or as a person or in their relationship.

I think Silva puts it better: 'Yoh is strong because of Anna'. Not only because of that promise or because she puts him through hell's training or even because os his feelings for her but a combination of all that and I think that this is one of the things that puts them apart from the other anime couples.

Regardless of her temper, in a way, they are both pretty alike in a reaction sense. Neither stress themselves and they barely if ever are caught off guard or even feel very shocked.

Also... I think that if Naruto (the forever optmistic) and Shikamaru (the lazy cloud watcher) ever linked their lineages... we would get Yoh... *LOL* *sweatdrops*

Claymore:

I really liked the anime (don't want to read the rest of the manga just in case it comes out in anime first), anyway. Well developed and amazing characters. Too shonen (just like Naruto) but aside from that, pretty perfect... and yes, like many fans, whenever there is an Erza fight I know that she is going to win 'because she's Erza' and 'because she cried enough' and 'because of her comrades'... like... there is no other reason... she just NEVER loses and that is it. Another reason is the very few fillers (unlike Naruto that one third of the whole thing is fillers).

Anyways... loved the story!

Samurai X/Ruronin Kenshin:

It's been years since I last watched/read... but I can say that I didn't like the last OVA, too serious and angsty, liked the manga/anime series version better.

Ok, I didn't like the Legend of Korra all that much. The fights were weak and too 'supernatural', I much prefer the powerhouses preteens or teens than the barely so-so young adults...

The Last Airbender was great. Plot, characters development even the romance. Aang is shonen but without BEING shonen, like a cute kid that isn't tacky and as many Animes proved, that is NOT easy.

I loved the Zuko parts and his interactions with Iroh, dear lord how I LOVED the White Lotus thingy...

Anyway, great until the end when Zuko asks after his mother and then we can only find out what happened through the comics and that is such a turn off, aside from that, this series was AMAZING!

I loved the hint of Korra/Asami in the end too, much prefer them over their back and forth with Mako... who is such a pretty boy, I like him but I can't deny it.
