But eventually, it sunk because of pandering to a small but very vocal group of fans, bad and sometimes repetitive storytelling, and one sided political messaging) Once upon a Time( A realistic take on fairytales, but it lost steam when Emma brought Marian/Zelena back, faced no consequences, and they ruined Rumple's character) Smallville( A great retelling of the origin of Superman, but it became a soap opera after a while and it lost a lot of steam when it lost Lex) The Originals( A great supernatural TV show about family and redemption) The Buffyverse (Buffy was a cult classic and Angel had some great storytelling and compelling characters) Teen Wolf( one of the greatest Supernatural TV shows ever with one of the greatest bromances on television and some truly compelling characters) The Dragon Ball saga: One of the greatest Anime franchises ever, but around the Cell Games Saga, it sidelines all its human characters and following it just ruins Gohan as character) Naruto(One of the greatest Animes ever but around the Shinobi World War Arc, it lost steam and put far too many fillers in between Arcs) Yugioh franchise( Compelling characters, great villains, and compelling stories, but I lost interest after 5D's) Yu Yu Hakusho (One of the most underrated Animes of all time with compelling and concise storylines and great characters) Bones(One of the greatest crimes dramas ever) Charmed(One of the greatest supernatural tv shows ever) Merlin(one of the best shows ever) Big Bang Theory(It used to be really funny but it just went on for too long and has now become a show about woman who are in unhappy relationships making jokes about those relationships. The only time the show has any level of enjoyment these days is when it crosses over with Young Sheldon) Grey's Anatomy (It used to be a really good show, but it has just gone on for too long and nearly all the good characters have left at this point) Favorite Characters: Naruto: Naruto, Kakashi, Jiraya ,Sasuke, Gaara Harry Potter: Harry, Ron, Fred and George,Sirius, Remus, Snape, Luna Star Wars: Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader,Obi wan, Luke Skywalker Star Wars Legends: Jacen/Darth Caedus, Anakin Solo, Tenel Ka , Tahiri ( pre- DN/LOTF) Percy Jackson: Percy,Nico, Hades, Poseidon, Thalia Shadowhunter universe: Jace, Alec, Izzy, Simon, Will, Tessa X-Men: Logan, Pyro, Xavier(first class), MCU: Captain America, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Bucky Barnes, Scarlet Witch, Hawkeye, Daredevil, Punisher, Thor, Spider-Man, Leo Fitz, Antman, Hulk, Elektra, Thanos, Black Panther, Iron Man, War Machine, Falcon Fast and the Furious: Dom, Hobbs, Brian, Deckard Shaw, Mr. Nobody Lord of the Rings: Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam, Merry, Pippin, Eowyn Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack, Elizabeth, Gibbs, inheritance Cycle : Eragon, Brom, Murtagh Dragon Ball saga: Gohan Jr.,Vegeta, Goku, Future Trunks Yu Yu Hakusho: Yusuke, Hiei Yugioh: Joey, Kaiba, Jaden, Zane, Yusei, Jack, Akisa/Aki, Crow Batman comics: Dick, Tim, Barbara, Steph, Cassandra Cain Young Justice: Robin/Nightwing, Kid Flash, Superboy, Red Arrow, Batman, Zatana, Cheshire, Wonder Girl Avatar/Korra: Zuko, Iroh, Sokka ,Tenzin, Mako, Lin Ben 10: Kevin, Ben, Max, Gwen, X-Men evolution Lance, Pietro, Rogue, Logan, The Originals: Klaus, Rebekah, Kol, Freya(season three onwards), Cami, Arrowverse: Oliver, Roy, Nyssa, Sara, Slade, Barry, Caitlin, Joe, Cisco,Kara, Winn, Hank/Jon'n, Constantine, E-1 Laurel, Harry, Eobard Thawne (the season one version), Quentin The Gifted: Lorna, Marcos, John Smallville: Clark, Oliver, Lex, Once upon a time :Regina, Henry, Hook, Teen Wolf: Stiles, Lydia, Derek, Malia, Scott, Argent The 100: Bellamy, Clarke, Octavia, Jasper Buffyverse: Spike, Xander, Willow, Tara, Cordelia, Angel/Angelus, Faith Bones: Booth, Brennan, Sweets, Zack, Hodgins Charmed: Piper, Leo, Paige, Chris Merlin: Merlin, Arthur, Morgana, Gwen, Gwaine Grey's Anatomy: Alex, Izzie, Mark, Lexie, April, Arizona, Webber Least Favorite Characters and why Harry Potter: All Weasleys save for Ron and the Twins( they have little to no consideration for Ron's feelings),Hermione(arrogant, narrow-minded bully), Percy Jackson:Zeus(arrogant murderer) Star Wars: Padme( she seems very naive. it was good to have faith in the good of people, but she seems to take it to a almost delusional level. also, despite numerous instances where this was taken advantage off by the Separatists, she doesn't seem to be able to learn from her mistakes), Rey(She has no personality aside from a lack of knowledge) Star Wars Legends: Jaina(Abandoned Jacen) Shadowhunters universe: Sebastian( I don't get why so many people like him. Almost until the moment he dies, he is a complete psychopath with no redeeming qualities. I mean, he even tried to rape Clary for goodness sake! How people can possibly like him is beyond me) Young Justice: M'ggan( Tried to mind-rape Conner and did to Kaldur!) The Originals: Hayley while she was married to Jackson(I had always liked her and still like her but after she married Jackson, she became unlikable very quickly. without a second thought, she turned her back on the Mikaelsons like they were nothing to her. She basically did whatever Jackson told her lie she was his slave instead of his wife. I was happy when Jackson died because that was when Hayley started to become likable again ), Elijah(I loved him in TVD, but since the Originals started, he has slowly become Hayley's lapdog. There are moments where I like him and moments where I hate him, but the moments where I like him are becoming fewer and fewer. He's becoming more and more hypocritical the longer the series goes on. He never takes into account his own faults, his own indiscretions, always blaming Klaus or the infamous Red Door. He goes around acting like he's a Vampire version of a god when I think he's as much a demon as Klaus), Davina(in season one, I liked her. However, in season two and three, she has just become this whinny brat who thinks she is the solution to the problem, when really she is as much a part of the problem as the Mikaelsons) Smallville:Lana( selfish witch who constantly hurts Clark and endangers those he cares about) Arrowverse: Felicity( in the first two seasons, she was one of my favorite characters, but over the course of season three and four, she has been stripped of all the qualities that make her relatable and likable. All she seems to do anymore is hack and whine about the choices Oliver makes, even if they are necessary. I just cannot understand how people can continue to support this character who is so whiny, bitchy, and self-absorbed that she makes Bella Swan look like Katniss Everdeen by comparison!), Iris(She's selfish, hypocritical, bossy, arrogant, and treats everyone around her like crap and gets away with it), Alex( Nothing about her I dislike per say, but I find her unnecessary. I never understood the need for Kara to have an adoptive sister except to make the show have more female leads. And the writers never did anything to make me care about this character, its like they just assumed I would care about her because she's a woman and a badass. In season two, which would have been the appropriate time to expand on Alex's character aside from just being Kara's sister and an agent, they instead used the season to make Alex the show's LGBT representation and Alex's storyline was completely consumed by it, she did very little else in season two aside from come out. Alex also demonstrates some very self involved tendencies throughout seasons two and three, which turned me off her character), Kendra (I honestly have to give the writers credit, it takes a special kind of incompetence to screw p one of the greatest female superheroes they way they did. She is nothing like Hawkgirl and just so annoying. And can someone please give me a sock or something I can shove it down her throat so I don't have to hear 'such time ago I was barista?'), Rip (He's very self-serving and manipulative, willing to sacrifice his own team like pawns with little redeeming qualities. And after the whole Ava mess, he is a villain in all but name), Nora West-Allen (I was open to her until the writer's started treating her like she was more important than characters who had been here for seasons. And then, once she kept going back to Thawne despite knowing what he did to Barry and his mother, I was done with her. And honestly, she just has very little character development over the course of the season. Even when she's supposedly learning from her mistakes, she still acts the same way and except when she dared to criticize the almighty Iris, whenever she is called on a mistake, the show tries to justify her actions) The Gifted: Clarice( She wasn't so bad in season one, but now she's clearly drank the Morlock's kool-aid and is just whiny and annoying) Once upon a time: Emma(while I don't really dislike her, I often feel frustrated by the writers need to remind us how important she is, as well as the fact that the writers go out of their way to protect her from the consequences of her actions Also, I don't like how she assumes that she has the right to keep Henry away from Regina. She asked for a closed adoption, therefore she legally has no rights to him. What kind of message does that sent to adoptive parents watching the show that she seems to be able to take Henry away from Regina at the drop of a hat?) Rumple(In season three, he was one of my favorite characters, but from season four, he gets progressively worse. He basically makes Neal's sacrifice worth nothing because he goes around backstabbing everyone, even Henry, all the time. Even Belle gave up on him at one point and I wish he had stayed away from her. Honestly, if anyone deserved not to get a happy ending, it was Rumple) MCU: Foggy Nelson(He's supposed to be the comic relief, but he's just not funny. Also, he's a dick about Matt being Daredevil), Karen Paige(She's just not interesting. Also, like Foggy, she's not very nice to Matt about being Daredevil, even before she found out she's wasn't exactly kind to Matt), Daisy Johnson (I loved her as Skye, but not as Daisy. she seems like a second rate Melinda May with an ego and her plot has gone nowhere for three seasons straight and seems to be above criticism) Teen Wolf: Jackson(Okay, first off Colton Hayes is one of my favorite actors. That being said, I detest the character of Jackson. he's just a bully and a dick who has only one redeeming quality: he does seem to genuinely love Lydia, but even that is tarnished by the fact that he treated her like crap for most of the first two seasons. Frankly, the show is a lot better without him) Buffyverse: Riley(He is, by far, the most boring character in the entire Buffyverse. Whether he is playing the role of a college student, a government lapdog, or a member of the Scoobies, he still portrays the same boring personality. There simply isn't much personality to this guy, no hidden depths), Kennedy(To her credit, Kennedy certainly had a lot to live up to by filling the shoes of Tara, God rest her soul. However, from day one I didn't really like her that much and my dislike for the character only grew as time went on. She is nothing but an arrogant, whiny, self-entitled brat. The only reason this character exists is because The writers caved under the accusations of Homophobia in the wake of Tara's tragic death near the end of season six. Accusations that were, of course, ridiculous because why create such an amazing character like Tara if they were Homophobic?), Kate(I liked her up until the episode where her father was killed. While I certainly felt bad for her, it must be hard to lose the only family you have left, her unjustly blaming Angel for it and continuing to blame Angel for things that were in no way his fault became annoying very quickly) Supergirl: James(nothing against the actor or the character, but this is not Jimmy Olsen. Jimmy Olsen is a geeky, awkward guy, not a smooth, confident man. And in season two, I honestly think he should just be written out of the show. He's just become an arrogant and self involved asshole) Charmed: Phoebe (There was a time where she was my favorite sister after Piper, but as the series progressed, she became more and more self-involved and selfish) Billie(If you look Mary-Sue in the dictionary, you'll find her picture. She is just so annoying! And the actress was just so bad! Honestly, why are the sisters okay with letting this complete stranger know all their family's secrets? Why should I care about Billie's character arc? And why is she forgiven after literally killing two of the sisters using the weakest logic to turn on them?) Grey's Anatomy: Christina (Honestly, I really don't get the appeal She's a glory hound who has betrayed nearly everyone she claims is her friend in order to get a head, I really don't understand why people like her) Favorite quotes: "I don't mind being the bad guy. I'll make all the life and death decisions while you worry about collateral damage. And I'll even let her hate me for it. But at the end of the day, I'll be the one keeping her alive." Damon to Stefan Salvatore, Vampire Diaries. "When people see good, they expect good. I don't want to live up to anyone's expectations." Damon Salvatore to Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries. "I'm the bad brother." Damon Salvatore, Vampire Diaries. "Whenever you go to far, I will be there to pull you back. Every second of everyday until you don't need me anymore." Damon Salvatore to Stefan Salvatore, Vampire Diaries. "The Salvatores may fight like dogs but in the end, they would die for each other. At least they know what family means." Rebekah Mikaelson to Klaus, Vampire Diaries. "You want a love that consumes you. You want passion, adventure, and even a little danger." Damon Salvatore to Elena Gilbert, Vampire diaries. "But you know what I really am? Selfish. Because I make bad choices that hurt you. Yes, I would rather die than be human! I'd rather die right now than lose you when I'm too old and sick and miserable and you're still you! Because that's who I am Elena and I'm never gonna change!" Damon Salvatore to Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries "Tonight, I saw a side of Damon I hadn't seen in a while: the older brother I looked up to. The son who enlisted in the civil war to please his father. The Damon I knew when I was a boy. I wanted that Damon to live. And I wanted you to have a chance to get to know that person. He's the better man...the right man." Stefan Salvatore to Elena Gilbert, Vampire Diaries. "Because I am the big brother. I'm just sorry I wasn't better at it until now." Damon to Stefan Salvatore, Vampire Diaries. "Hello brother." Damon/Stefan Salvatore and Klaus/Elijah/Kol Mikaelson to each other, Vampire Diaries and The Originals. "Over the course of my long life, I've come to believe that we are bound forever to those with whom we share blood. That bond can be our greatest strength or our deepest regret." Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. "No hurts my family and lives." Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. "My big brother, so you doubt my intentions? I can't say I'm surprised. After all, standing next to the noble Elijah, how can I be anything else but the lesser brother? A liar, manipulator...bastard. That's all I am to you, isn't it? And to Rebekah. And judging by the way Hayley hangs on your every word, no doubt she feels the same. No doubt my child will as well." "Brother-" "You've said all that needs to be said, brother...I'll play the roll I've been given." Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. "Is that so? Well what have I done lately other then cooperate? Bow down to you brother, in order to make up for daggering you, for the greater good of our plan to reclaim our home. Look the other way, sister, as you repeat the same cycle with Marcel, falling again for a man you shouldn't be with! Now, I make no excuses for past sins, but, in the one moment where the two of you could have chosen to stand by me, to believe in me. To believe that my intentions for my own child were pure...you chose to stand against me. To side with my enemies...I wanted our home back, now I have it. So I'm going to go live there...and the two of you can stay here together...and rot." Klaus Mikaelson to Elijah and Rebekah, The Originals. "This city would have seen you dead, but I will have it your home. I will strike down all those who mean you harm, as surely as my blood runs in your veins. You will return to me." Klaus to Hope Mikaelson, The Originals. "My entire life I was denied the approval of the man I thought was my father. You turned me into the weakling he hated! Look at me! You rant and you rave about the monster I have become but you mother! You are the author of everything I am!" Klaus Mikaelson to Esther, The Originals. "Why is our family always at war?" "I don't know. But being away with Hope made me see things differently. We're not so bad, we're not the monsters our parents think we are." Elijah and Rebekah Mikaelson, The Originals. "Her you fight for. Lovely Freya, the daughter you barely know. But there was a time that you knew me, as your son! A time before all the disappointments and revelations of betrayal! There were moments where all you had to do was be my father! And even then you despised me didn't you!? I want to know why." "I don't know...I just...did." Klaus Mikaelson and Mikael, The Originals. "Me against my brother, my brother and me against the infidel." "What does that mean?" "It means families fight, but always trust a Mikaelson to side with another Mikaelson." Vincent Griffith and Davina Claire, The Originals. "I don't want to kill you! I don't want to kill him! This is the family I have longed for but because of her I'll forever be alone!" Freya Mikaelson to Marcel Gerard, The Originals. "Because you wished it. Because what's important to you is important to me. What makes you happy makes me want to keep you so. What scares you I want to tear apart. I do not wish to watch from behind glass Camille." Klaus Mikaelson to Camille O'Connell, The Originals. "Don't think for a moment that you failed me. You stayed my hand. You quelled my rage. You inspired goodness in me, and unlike all the souls I have forgotten in the long stretch of time, I will carry you with me." "I guess that makes me immortal." Klaus Mikaelson and Camille O'Connell, The Originals. "I thought I had told Camille everything, every moment from my past that mattered to me. And yet, in the mere hours since she died, I've thought of a thousand things I forgot to say." Klaus Mikaelson to Hayley Marshall, The Originals. "That is the Mikaelson family way: maim, torture, kill, all in the name of family. Always and forever." Marcel Gerard to Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. "My dearest Hope, I do not know how this will find you. As a child full of wonder, a teenager full of opinions, or a woman with the world at her feet. I write to tell you that I love you and that, in our family's darkest hour, I was called upon to save my siblings. And so I did. Please do not mourn me. Whatever pain I endure, I do so in service of those I love. My sole regret is that I will be away from you. Be good to your mother. I draw comfort in knowing that she will protect you. And I know she will not rest until our family is united. Until then my sacrifice will allow you to grow. To become the beautiful daughter I can now only imagine you to be. Please remember that you are the legacy this family has always desired, the promise we fought to protect. You are, and always will be, our hope.” Klaus' letter to Hope Mikaelson, The Originals. "We free Niklaus today even if I have to burn that city to the ground." Elijah Mikaelson to Kol, The Originals. "If something has happened to my sister or something is about to happen to another member of my family, this city and everyone in it will burn. You, your boyfriend, your friends, this bar, your home. Need I go on?" Kol Mikaelson to Josh Rosza, The Originals. "But he did leave! Elijah was always there for me! He was my closest ally, constantly guiding me on a path to redemption! He was the only person that made me worthy of Hope! He was my best friend. You killed him...and I hate you for it." Klaus to Elijah Mikaelson, The Originals. "As much as I've savored the joy of tormenting you all through the years, I must admit you all mean everything to me. Your loyalty and your counsel, and your love, is probably the only reason I've survived as long as I have. Which I know that long after I'm gone, you all come together, time and time again to take care of each other; which is why I am not afraid for your future. This is not the end of The Mikaelsons." Klaus Mikaelson to his family, The Originals. "You have failed this city!" Oliver Queen, Arrow. "I never told you what happened to me on the island." "You didn't have to, I could see that it changed you." "That's the thing, it didn't. Those five years didn't change me, they just...scrapped away everything I wasn't and revealed the person I always was. Which is the person you always saw. I don't know how you saw it, but you did." Oliver Queen and Laurel Lance, Arrow. "It can't be saved because the people there don't want it to be saved." "So you'll just kill them?" "Yes! They deserve to die, all of them! The way she did!" Malcolm Merlyn and Tommy Merlyn, Arrow. "These were five years! Five years, where nothing good happened!" Oliver Queen to John Diggle and Felicity Smoak, Arrow. "You didn't let me die Ollie, you fought to save me. Because that is what you do, what you have always done. You fight to survive. I know I called you murderer but you are not. You are a hero. You beat the island. You beat my father. So get up Oliver. Get up and fight back." Tommy Merlyn to Oliver Queen, Arrow. "I am going to tear everything he cares about a way from him. Destroy those who choose to follow him. Corrupt those he loves. And then, once he has lost everyone and everything he values, I will drive an arrow through his eye." Slade Wilson to Sebastian Blood, Arrow. "You cannot die...yet. You cannot die until you have suffered as I have suffered. You cannot die until you have known complete despair. And you will know it...I promise." Slade Wilson to Oliver Queen, Arrow. "Five years ago I made you a promise. I'm here to fulfill it." Slade Wilson to Oliver Queen, Arrow. "Once you let the darkness inside, it never comes out." Laurel Lance and Helena Bertinelli, Arrow. "Barry, you live in Central City, where everything's sunny all the time and you give your enemies cute nick names. You're not in Central City! I live in a city where my best friend was murdered! Where a woman I loved was shot full of arrows and sent tumbling off a rooftop! Where my mother was murdered right in front of me, so before you-" "My mother was murdered in front of me to, but I don't use it as an excuse to just torture whoever pisses me off." "Well I'm sorry Barry, I'm not as emotionally healthy as you." Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, Arrow. "There are people in this world who deal only in extreme measures. It would be naive to think anything less than extreme measures would stop them." Amanda Waller, Arrow. "I will do whatever it takes to save my sister." Oliver Queen to Felicity Smoak, Arrow. "Ollie, I know I am not the love of your life, but you will always be the love of mine." Laurel Lance to Oliver Queen, Arrow. "There was a time where I would've thought that this was my fault. That I brought this darkness down on us. Now I know it's not my fault. It's my responsibility." "Responsibility to do what?" "To end it. I'm gonna kill him." Oliver Queen and Barry Allen, Arrow. "I could have killed Damien Darhk before that night at Iron Heights, I had multiple chances, but I thought taking the high road was more important then saving lives. That is a mistake I cannot afford to make again." "Sparing lives isn't a mistake!" "When I finally killed Damien Darhk, I had to face the fact that Malcolm Merlyn was right: Either I'm willing to do whatever it takes or I shouldn't be out there at all." Oliver and Thea Queen, Arrow. "You and me kid...just like old times." Slade Wilson to Oliver Queen, Arrow. "You can blame me for your father's death for the rest of your life! But I am done blaming myself for mine!" Oliver Queen to Adrian Chase, Arrow. "There was never supposed to be a John Diggle. A Felicity Smoak. A Team Arrow. There was never supposed to be A Green Arrow! There was only the mission!" Oliver Queen, Arrow. "Are you telling me that all this time we were trying to save Iris, we should have been trying to save you as well?" "You did save me Joe. You took an eleven year old boy with a broken heart and gave him a home and so much love. No son ever felt more love from a father." "No father ever felt so proud of a son." Joe West and Barry Allen, Flash. "We were a team and a family and you betrayed us!" "I know! It's what I regret the most. Not the lying, the Shield agents I had to put down, and sorry not even dropping you two into the ocean. It's this. My actions destroyed this. I'll regret that forever." Leo Fitz and Grant Ward, Agents of Shield. "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become The villain." Harvey Dent and Bruce Wayne, The Dark Knight. "Why's he running dad?" "Because now we have to chase him." "He didn't do anything wrong." "Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A Dark Knight." James Gordon and his son, The Dark Knight. "Evil isn't born, it's made." Regina Mills, Once upon a time. "But I'm a villain. And villains don't get happy endings." Rumpelstiltskin to Peter Pan, Once upon a time. "No Luke, I am your father." Darth Vader to Luke Skywalker, Star Wars franchise. "I'm with you 'till the end of the line pal." Bucky Barnes to Steve Rogers, Captain America 2. "You're my mission. You're. My. Mission!" "Then finish it. 'Cause I'm with you...until the end of the line." Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers, Captain America 2. "For so long, all I wanted was for you to love me, to accept me. I thought it was my honor I wanted, but really, I was just trying to please you. You, my father, who banished me just for talking out of term. You, my father, who challenged me, a thirteen year old boy to an Agni-Kai. How can you possibly justify a duel with a child?" "It was to teach you respect!" "It was cruel! And it was wrong!" "Then you've learned nothing!" "No, I've learned everything! And I've had to learn it on my own! Growing up, we were taught that the Fire Nation was the greatest civilization in history. And that somehow, the war was out way of sharing that greatness with the rest of the world. What an amazing lie that was. The people of the world are terrified of the Fire Nation! They don't see our greatness, they hate us! And we deserve it! We've created an era of fear in the world. If we don't want the world to destroy itself, we need to replace it with an era of peace and kindness." Prince Zuko and Fire Lord Ozai, Avatar the last Airbender. "I am the villain of the story." Lex Luthor, Smallville "It is not our abilities that make us who we are, but our choices." Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter franchise. "Why do you live Harry Potter?" "Because I have something worth living for." Lord Voldemort and Harry Potter, Harry Potter franchise. "You and me Scott, we're brothers now." Derek Hale to Scott McCall, Teen Wolf "You're not no one, alright? You're somebody. Scott, you're my best friend. Scott, you're my brother. So if you're gonna do this, well you're just gonna have to take me with you." Stiles Stilinski to Scott McCall, Teen Wolf. "You're not a monster. You're a Werewolf, like me." Scott McCall, Teen Wolf "My sister, my responsibility." Bellamy Blake, The 100 Why Hayley Marshall is disliked on TO (The Originals) For those who are not familiar with the Originals, do not read this any further. My thanks to Phantom x Troupe for allowing to Copy & Paste this. If you believe in this, Copy & Paste this to your profile. 1. Her characterization is inconsistent: Hayley was introduced in season four of TVD as a werewolf who helped Tyler learn to control his shifting. In the process she befriended not only Tyler but the other hybrids in his pack. It is soon revealed that Hayley was only using them in order to gain information on her family. She set them up to be sacrifices which resulted in the slaughter of twelve people who trusted her. This also indirectly lead to the death of Tyler's mother and setting him on a path of vengeance. Hayley destroyed many lives that night and you would think it was setting her up as a villain. What she did to those people was sociopathic. But instead, this issue is never brought up in the narrative again. This was a defining moment for Hayley as a character and it was completely glossed over. This is likely do to the fact that her character was receiving major backlash from the fandom. So this began the writers' task of making Hayley likeable. Once we see Hayley again in the Originals, her previous dark deed is never mentioned again. In fact, when she and Tyler did meet in the crossover, he was portrayed as the villain and traitor. Tyler is one of the few good people in Mystic Falls. He hasn't been shown before or since then any indication that he would ever hurt a child, yet alone an unborn one. Yet his character was completely rewritten in that episode in order to make Hayley look better to the audience. Completely ignoring the fact that Klaus killed his mother because Hayley tipped him off about the hybrids' plan. Now Hayley is presented as the sole survivor of a lost clan of werewolf royalty. She is now also having a miracle baby with a man who previously in the narrative couldn't have children. This shit sounds like it was lifted straight from a damn fanfiction. One of the writers' main goal in season one was to retcon Hayley. In the process they have negated all of her atrocities from her introduction in TVD. 2. Her hypocrisy: Hayley has berated Klaus for having countless enemies that put their daughter in danger. So what does she do when Davina tells her to assassinate one witch? She slaughters eleven of them. Ten of whom were innocent and were just protecting their homes. And she literally ripped them apart. New Orleans's supernatural community is currently in a state of peace. Hayley's actions not only made her and by extension her daughter a potential enemy of the nine covens of New Orleans, but has also risked the factions going to war again. And since she's a queen, the Crescent pack will likely also be held accountable for her actions. And I'm starting to wonder if Hayley is actually a sociopath. We saw Davina break down in tears over her part in the deaths of those witches. Hayley showed no remorse whatsoever. Kai would be so proud. 3. The writers rewrite their own myths to accommodate her. We all claim Dahlia is the most powerful being in The Originals. Hayley is so OP she breaks the laws of her own universe. Hybrids are shown be as strong as vampires who are roughly in their hundreds. Hayley defeating eleven witches should not have been possible. We have seen vampires who are 100 years in age; such as Stefan, Damon, and Marcel, struggle to defeat one witch in direct combat. Hayley defeated eleven! And remember when she fought Mikael back in season one as a pregnant werewolf, and was actually keeping up with him? Mikael the Destroyer, the man who Klaus fears the most, was nearly bested by a pregnant werewolf. Even if Mikael wasn't at full strength do to being on the Other Side, he has over a thousand years of fighting experience. He should have wiped the floor with Hayley in Hand to Hand combat alone. Her power-level is way above than what it should be. Just ask yourself. Do you think that Tyler as a hybrid could have replicated Hayley's feats? 4. She is ungrateful. When Hayley first arrived in New Orleans, she was broke, homeless, pregnant, and the father of her child all but abandoned her. Elijah took her in, and fought for Klaus to be apart of their child's life. Both he and Rebekah proclaimed Hayley as family and made sure all of her needs were met. They put a roof over her head, rent free, and made sure she was well taken care of. And how does Hayley repay them? By showing more loyalty to a bunch of a people (the Crescents) she barely knew. From the moment she met Jackson, his needs came before the people who did so much for her. But I can pin point the exact moment I began to hate Hayley. It was when Rebekah was imprisoned inside Eva's mind, and Hayley threatened to kill her. This is a woman who took her in as family and was a caregiver for her child for months. And Hayley didn't even put up a fight to save her. She has no loyalty to anyone but herself. And those are my reasons. If you think about it, Hayley is actually similar to other female characters; such as Dany from Game of Thrones and Korra from Legend of Korra. They're all leaders who had the position thrust upon them, authoritative, and arrogant. But what those two get right that Hayley doesn't, is that when they make mistakes, the narratives addresses it. They have repercussions for their actions, go through trials and tribulations, and come out better for it. They make down right horrible decisions at times, but they also learn from them. And this is where Hayley ultimately fails as a character. But what do I know? Felicity Smoak: Flawed hero or Villain? One of the main criticisms of Arrow in recent years has been its lack of interesting main villains, excluding Prometheus. But what if the biggest villain was hiding in plain sight, right from the beginning? I am of course talking about Team Arrow's resident hacker, Felicity Smoak. Now, bear with me, Felicity's path to villainy is a long and complicated road but becomes obvious when you look back at her character arc through the seasons. Season 1: I'm not going to spend too much time here, I'm only going to talk about two instances that raise serious red flags about Felicity. The first is the Ken Williams situation. This tells us two things about Felicity's character. The first is her obvious disagreement with Oliver's methods, specifically his willingness to kill, and the second is her need for control. That second thing is her fatal flaw, her Achilles heel, but I'll get to that. The second red flag is the Deadshot/Rasmus situation. This displays a lack of loyalty to Oliver, an inability to trust him. She does not for a second try to understand Oliver's position or consider that Oliver may have been right, she just automatically decided that Diggle was in the right and Oliver was in the wrong. Once again, a major red flag. Season two: The no kill rule once again raises a serious red flag about Felicity. It tells us that Felicity will always think her way is best no matter what anyone tells her. This is best seen in the finale, when there appears to be no other option other than to kill Slade. Felicity is vehemently against this, telling Oliver to find another way. It was nothing more than pure luck that Oliver was able to come up with a plan that didn't involve killing Slade. Season three: Now, here's where her path to villainy truly starts. After she throws her bitch fest at Oliver and goes to work for Ray, the guy who literally just screwed Oliver out of his family's company, out of spite, she discovers Ray's plan to build a supersuit to fight crime. Felicity chooses to keep this a secret from Oliver and the rest of the team, even when Oliver is framed by Ra's and Ray tells the city he will do 'every in my power to bring The Arrow to justice' or something along those lines, it is not until Ray discovers Oliver's identity that Felicity fesses up. This is a hug betrayal of Team Arrow and shows a lack of loyalty and trust she has in them. Something which is expanded upon after Oliver is apparently killed. She stops Diggle and Roy from pursuing Daniel Brickwell's crew, which leads to various criminals being released from prison. This directly contributes to Brick's takeover of The Glades and Felicity also leaves Team Arrow, which, along with the loss of Oliver, causes it to nearly disband until Laurel steps up. This displays not only a lack of loyalty to Oliver, but to his mission and to Star City itself. And I want to bring up her telling Oliver to let Thea die, her drugging Oliver, and her telling Ray to save Oliver, the city be damned. All three tell us one thing, that Felicity doesn't really give a damn about what Oliver wants if it conflicts with what she wants. And telling him to let Thea die and not caring about the city tells us how far she is willing to go to protect Oliver, even at the expense of innocent lives. Season four: Now, I'm gonna be blunt about this, the majority of the season was Oliver doing things Felicity's way. He did things how Felicity thought he should do them. And he accomplished very little as a result. The one time he didn't, after Felicity was shot, he got closer to stopping Darhk than he did all season. But it was apparently more important to her that Oliver do things her way than stop Darhk. Now, the William situation. I'm not even gonna get into how hypocritical it is for Felicity to judge Oliver for keeping secrets with all the times she has lied to and kept him in the dark about something. But it tells us something about Felicity's character: William is something she cannot control and because she cannot control this, she feels she can't trust Oliver, and so she breaks up with Oliver and eventually leaves the team. Which, while we're on the subject, it's not out of the question to say, if Felicity was there, Laurel may have lived, considering all we've seen Felicity do from behind a computer screen. Season five: Now, here is where Felicity's path to villainy comes full circle. First, Felicity is the most passive aggressive backseat leader I've ever seen. She seems to be completely incapable of following the most basic orders, such as concealing her identity from the recruits at first. She cannot back any of Oliver's plays, she tells the recruits when she doesn't agree with Oliver's decisions, and all this leads to the recruits having little respect for Oliver as a leader. Something that becomes apparent when the recruits, without question, take down Black Siren when she is handing Oliver the phone. Now, we've come to Black Siren. Felicity's inability to keep her emotions in check, while understandable, directly contributes to what happens to her. Her taunting Black Siren and her using Black Siren to get to Prometheus ruins any chance Oliver has of reaching her and sets the stage for Black Siren's return as a villain. And now we get to the big one, Helix. First, the fact that she was approached by someone who was inspired by Felicity's hacker days should have immediately set off some red flags in Felicity's head. But rather than doing anything to stop these terrorists, Felicity instead works for them, keeping this a secret from Oliver even when he asks her about where she goes, despite all her lectures about keeping secrets. And Finally, in exchange for a piece of tech that can track Chase, Felicity agrees to help Helix break out Cayden James, someone she knows nothing about, even betraying Argus and Team Arrow to do so. And this tech allows Chase to trap Oliver and Felicity in the bunker. Felicity's critiques of Oliver's escape attempts cause him to try things her way. Only her way almost gets them both killed until they are saved by the rest of Team Arrow. And all the while, Chase is taking advantage of this by locating and kidnapping Oliver's son William. And on a bit of a side not, Felicity has to have completely lost her mind to recruit Evelyn Sharp. She recruited one of the few people who is more emotionally unstable than Felicity herself, is it any surprise what happened? Season six: Here is where Felicity's past sins come back to haunt her. Cayden James is manipulated by Diaz into believing that Oliver killed his son, so he puts out a doctored photo of Oliver as The Green Arrow, which causes an FBI investigation into Oliver. Because of this and William's fear over losing Oliver, Oliver passes on the mantle to Diggle. Only Diggle is hurt from the explosion at Lain Yu, but he doesn't tell Oliver because he doesn't want to let him down. This causes Diggle to get black market drugs to deal with his injury, only later finding out these drugs come from Diaz. Oliver is forced to step back in and that's when it all goes to shit. You'd think Felicity would have learned by now that her way isn't best and not to keep things from Oliver, but no. She puts the recruits under surveillance which causes a Civil war like split when it is discovered. The infighting gets worse when Black Siren kills Vigilante. Diggle, having gotten an ego boost from being Green Arrow, leaves as well. The divided Team Arrow is unable to stop Diaz and his criminal empire, so Oliver is forced to cut a deal with Agent Watson in order to stop Diaz, but in the end, he goes to jail with vigilantism outlawed. It all comes down to choices and motivations. Felicity's main motivation throughout the show has been to protect Oliver and Team Arrow, but because of a series of events set in motion by choices she made, she ends up losing both because of her inability to trust anyone and her need for control. Some might call her a flawed hero, but I think she's one of the most interesting villains in the Arrowverse. Why the Arrowverse has been an epic fail: Have you ever felt a deep emotional pain that wouldn't go away? Like you were watching someone you cared abut be tortured until they were left begging for death? Well, that's what watching the Arrowverse has been like the last few years. What happened to it? It had so much potential, how could it go so wrong? Well, here I attempt to explain the mistakes that have led to a franchise that quiet simply cannot be saved. Bad casting: The best examples of this are Candice Patton as Iris West and Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak. I don't have anything against either actress but the producers should have gone with different people. I am not the biggest expert in Flash comics, but what little I have read with Iris and what I know from those who have allows me to say with certainty that Patton has not done the character justice. She cannot bring the Iris West from the comics to life. And she has no chemistry with Grant Gustin and consider the show is built around a love story between Iris and Barry, its clear she was the wrong choice. On the other hand, EMR is just not a good actress, especially when it comes to emotional scenes. Every time she's on screen, it just feels like Felicity is acting, not like Felicity is a character. And she cannot do emotional scenes at all, so every scene that has to have Felicity become emotional is therefore ruined. When you compare her acting to the acting of Katie Cassidy and Willa Holland, there is simply no comparison. That's how good acting should look like. Bad treatment of male and female characters: This is most clear on Arrow and Supergirl. On Arrow, Laurel, Felicity, and Oliver are good examples of treating your character badly. Laurel was a good character in season one and parts of season three and a great character in season four, despite having no actual storyline for that season. But in season two, she was a waste of a character. Her whole druggie arc where she a raving bitch to everyone, especially Oliver and Sara, made her very unlikable. And season three really did nothing to fix this until the last quarter of it. Felicity, despite the bad acting of EMR, was a very likeable character the first two seasons. Then seasons three, four, and five completely rewrote her character until she was a selfish, hypocritical, disrespectful person who whined and, in the long run, only seemed to care about herself and what she wanted and had no time for what anyone else wanted. Oliver throughout the first two seasons was a strong character who did what he thought was right regardless of what anyone else told him. He didn't take anyone's crap and went to do what he had to in order to protect his city. But in season three, in moments where he would previously call someone out, he would just take criticism from Felicity that was entirely unjustified. When Diggle was being a hypocrite, he would not say anything. It got a lot worse in season four though. the entire team would disrespect him multiple times Felicity would undermine his authority as leader and be emotionally abusive to him. He was shown to be smart in season one and two, but seasons three and four attempt to convince you that he is stupid. He just sits there and takes it when Felicity is just a bitch to him, showing that Oliver has no self-respect. Supergirl is also a good example of this, all their male characters get treated horribly. James was not very likable in season one, but in season two he just becomes a jerk whose storyline can be summed up as 'I don't feel important, so I'm gonna become a superhero for...reasons.' In season one, Winn reveals he has feelings for Kara, which puts a strain on their friendship. The following episode, Kara rants to Alex about it, as though it is Winn's fault he has these feelings. Marian Manhunter and Superman are constantly made to look inferior to Kara. Mon-El was an interesting character the first few episodes until the writers turned him into a sexist douche when he had not shown any signs of that prior. Using the shows to push a political agenda: Read Supergirl. The entire show is basically to push a feminist agenda on the viewers. Cat Grant, in season two, even gives a speech about how much better than men women are. In season two, the Cadmus plot was very interesting. Then it becomes a platform to basically tell impressionable young minds that illegal immigration is okay and if anyone says otherwise, they are evil. But Arrow has done this to, as 5x13 was basically an episode done to simply push a pro gun control agenda. In season two of Legends of Tomorrow, we are constantly reminded of the fact that Sara is attracted to women, if not by her expressing an interest in one, than by one of the other characters saying something about it. It's like they think we're stupid and forgot but, more likely, the writers just want to talk about how great it is that she's bi because they did did the same thing with Curtis being gay in season five of Arrow. Turning the shows into a soap opera: Arrow is the best example of this. After episode twelve of season three, the writer's simply started focusing less on plot and more on romantic relationships, the relationship between Oliver and Felicity in particular. This continued in season four, where Olicity, their ship name, is the storyline that got the most focus. The same thing happened in season three of Flash, Iris and Barry's relationship is the main storyline. Again in Legends season one, the relationship between Ray and Kendra, as well as the triangle with Carter, started getting too much focus. Supergirl, season two, the relationships between Kara and Mon-El and Alex and Maggie basically took over the show. If viewers wanted to watch a show about romance, they would watch a soap opera but they aren't, they're watching a show that is supposed to be about superheroes being heroes, not about the trials of their romantic lives. The problems with WestAllen Usually, I like the relationship between Barry and Iris, but the Arrowverse's attempt at it is truly disgusting. There are a bunch of reasons why this relationship should not work and wouldn't work, and I am going to attempt to explain those reasons. 1: It reeks of incest: Barry and Iris were raised in the same house as brother and sister. In the Pilot, Iris even says they are basically siblings. Numerous people have referred to Joe and Barry, including Joe and Barry themselves, as father and son. When Iris and Barry first got together, Barry was uncomfortable kissing Iris in front of Joe because, as he put it, 'He's your...our...he's Joe.' If I was making out with someone and could honestly call there dad our dad, then there is a serious problem here 2: It makes Barry look like a stalker: Barry seems obsessed with the idea of being with Iris, to the point he is so fixated on her that he sabotages all other possible relationships. He himself said 'sometimes great possibilities are right in front of us and we don't see them because we choose not to.' And there is nothing to really justify Barry's obsession because this isn't like someone who can't get over a failed relationship, it's an obsession. Frankly, Barry's behavior could even be grounds for a restraining order. 3: Iris does not understand Barry: The show certainly tries to make it seem like Iris knows Barry better than anyone else, but it's all just a trick. If she did, she'd have realized long before Barry told her that he had feelings for her. If she knew Barry at all, she would've suspected long before finding our he was The Flash that there was something going on with him. It's clear from her actions from when Barry lost his memories and her anger at him over going into the Speed Force that she does not truly understand the burden Barry bears as the city's protector. She can walk away anytime she wants, Barry can't, not because of his powers, but its because of who he is as Barry Allen. Since she does not understand that, she does not understand who Barry really is. 4: Iris treats Barry badly: Throughout season one, we see multiple occasions where Iris all but throws herself at Barry despite being with Eddie, then she uses being with Eddie as an excuse not to be with Barry, crushing poor Barry's heart. When Iris first finds out about Barry being the Flash, she raves at him and then blames him for Eddie being gone and then for Joe getting kidnapped by Grodd. When Iris finds out Barry only asked her to marry him to save her life, she calls off the engagement. This is understandable, but she chose to do this after Wally was trapped in the Speed Force and Savitar has beaten the crap out of Barry. Barry is already in immense physical and emotional pain when this happens, he didn't need this on top of everything else, especially considering she tells him by showing off her ringless finger. After Barry comes back from the Speed Force, she brings him to counseling, when she knows Barry hates shrinks, and blames him for leaving her when she knows he had no choice and Barry can't defend himself, because he would expose his secret. 5: Iris is not good for Barry: The moment Iris and Barry got together, Barry became this selfish jackass who only cared about Iris, everything else was a distant second. Then, he becomes someone who for the most part, bows to Iris' whims. Whichever way you look at it, Barry becomes the worst version of himself when he is with Iris. 6: Barry cares about people, Iris doesn't: One of the fundamental aspects of being The Flash and Barry as a character is that he cares about people a lot. However, from Iris' actions, such as flirting with Barry in front of Linda and Eddie, kissing Barry while dating Eddie, dating Eddie and trying to keep it from Joe, blaming Joe and Barry for Eddie being taken by Thawne, keeping Wally a secret from Joe, making Barry go to Couples therapy when she know he hates shrinks, just to name a few, it is clear Iris has little consideration for other people. If she can't connect with Barry in that way, it makes you wonder what he even sees in her. Frankly, Thawne messing with the timeline the way he did must have really changed Iris' personality, because I don't think Barry would have any desire to be around Iris at all if he hadn't grown up with her. Why Anakin from the Clone Wars is the definitive Anakin Skywalker: Anakin Skywalker is the central character of the Star Wars universe. But I think we can all agree that the portrayal of Anakin in the prequel trilogy left much to be desired. Even though I liked Anakin in the Prequels, I can see the flaws in the writing. But Anakin in the Clone Wars 3D cartoon series actually fixed much of Anakin's portrayal in the prequels. Which is why I consider Anakin in the Clone Wars to be the definitive Anakin Skywalker. Here's the reasons why: 1: It proves Obi-Wan's statement: In A New Hope, when Obi-Wan is telling Luke about his father, he describes Anakin as 'The best star pilot in the galaxy, a cunning warrior, and a good friend.' However, from the prequels, none of this is true. Which is why it is such a relief to see this Anakin brought to life in CW. 1A: The best Star Pilot: In the prequels, we only briefly get to see Anakin fly a ship, never really a lot to gauge his skill. But in The Clone Wars, we see him fly numerous times. From the assault on Kamino, he is effortlessly able to evade the attacks from The Separatists, while most of his squad is not. This speaks volumes about Anakin's skill as a pilot. This is just one of many examples throughout the CW than we see Anakin's skills as a pilot and show case that he is indeed the best pilot in the galaxy. 1B: A cunning warrior: In the prequels, we see Anakin is a skilled lightsaber duelist, but not a cunning warrior, as he relies mostly on brute strength to win his battles. However, throughout the Clone Wars, we see that, even before his fall to the dark side, Anakin was a skilled tactician. Anakin is able to charm the slave owner in the Slave arc into letting him in, luring them into a false sense of security so he, Ashoka, and Obi-Wan can free all the Slaves. Anakin is able to out maneuver a Stealth ship and we see numerous times that Anakin is able to play General Grievous like a piece of chess. Anakin's skill as a tactician is clear throughout the six seasons of CW. 1C: A good friend: In the prequels, outside Palatine, the only friend Anakin seems to have is Obi-Wan, and we only see this friendship a few times. However, in Clone Wars, the relationship they have backs up Obi-Wan's claim a lot more. We see numerous times how Anakin and Obi-Wan joke and playfully bicker like brothers, best seen when Anakin and Obi-Wan are chained to Dooku and give him a hard time throughout the entire episode. But it truly shows the depth of there bond during the arc when Obi-Wan fakes his death and Anakin's grief is so apparent and he goes on a vengeful mission to avenge his master's death. But Anakin's friendships are more widened to also include R2 and Ashoka. When R2 is captured by Grievous, Anakin is hell bent on finding and saving the droid, even being unwilling to replace R2 as a droid until they find him. Anakin is shown to care about Ashoka greatly, being unwilling to let his apprentice go. He is more worried for her than a master should be in the eyes of the Jedi when she goes missing and when the entire Jedi Order turns there back on her when she is framed for bombing the temple, Anakin is the only one to stand by her and frantically tries to clear her name. Anakin is also shown to have a fairly good relationship with Yoda, being able to go to Yoda for advice, openly admitting they are friends and helping Yoda escape the temple when the Council believes Yoda is suffering from dementia. Anakin also has a great relationship with his most trusted Clone, Captain Rex. 2: The chosen one: In the prequel trilogy, we are constantly told Anakin is the chosen one, destined to bring balance to the force, but we don't really see it. I could go on and on about how we see this in the Clone Wars, but the best example is in the three episode arc when He, Obi-Wan, and Ashoka are sent to a planet that is latterly a manifestation of The Force. In one of the most epic moments in the entire series, Obi-Wan and Ashoka are captured by the manifestations of the light and dark side. Rather than choose between saving them, Anakin uses his powers to save them both. If that is not balance, I don't know what is. 3: His fall is more fleshed out: In the prequels, Anakin basically just turns to save Padme. But in Clone Wars, we see there is more to it than that. Anakin's relationship with the Jedi deteriorates throughout the six seasons, particularly after Obi-Wan keeps the fact he wasn't really dead from him and after Ashoka leaves the Jedi Order because of what the Order did to her. In a unfinished scene of what would have been the seventh season of Clone Wars, we even see Anakin express his anger and resentment over what happened to Ashoka to Obi-Wan. We constantly see Palpatine manipulating Anakin, grooming him for the events of episode three, particularly planting the seeds of his deteriorating relationship with Obi-Wan and the council. We see how Anakin wants to desperately bring peace to the Republic, even expressing how he does not think it's corrupt, to the point of naivety. Why The Dark Knight is the most overrated Superhero film of all time: I used to love The Dark Knight as a child. However, as an adult, I can say this with absolute certainty: the film is a mess. The Joker/Batman plot is absolute perfection and the ending is pretty satisfying, but everything else is just a mess. Boring arguments: Batman, Gordon, and Dent repeatedly meet on rooftops to argue about the corruption in the system and how much they don't trust each other. And these scenes aren't interesting or compelling, they're boring. The more times you've seen the film, the more boring they get. I personally almost fall asleep during these scenes by this point. Rachel is an unlikable female lead: She strings along both Harvey and Bruce, cheating on Harvey by kissing Bruce and giving Bruce hope only to yank the rug out from under him by telling him 'Sorry, but I'm gonna be with Harvey instead' in a letter of all things. And she's a bitch to both of them about their respective attempts to save Gotham. Honestly, what either of them see in her is beyond me. And then she's turned into a plot device to turn Harvey into Two-face, which brings me to my next point. Harvey's transformation into Two-face: In the comics, Two-face is this ruthless crime lord who will cut down anyone who stands in his way. But in the film, he's reduced to this big baby whining about how his girlfriend died. And ultimately, it doesn't work because you just want to pour Harvey a drink and say 'dude, she's not worth it.' Tony Stark: hero or villain? As a child, I adored Tony right from the first Iron Man film. However, really looking at Tony's character throughout the MCU, I have to wonder if Tony can be considered a hero or a villain, since the word Villain seems to fit him more right from the second Iron Man. Iron Man 2: What made the first film so great was Tony's character Arc of a weapons dealer and irresponsible CEO who realized he did more harm that good turning his company around and deciding to undo all the harm he had done. But the second film pretty much undoes all the character he has in the first film. Tony is just portrayed as an arrogant jackass all throughout the film. He's constantly bragging about his achievements and his decision to keep the Iron Man suit to himself, rather than being because he wants to keep it out of the wrong hands, just comes off as Tony having too big an ego to let them have it. Tony's arrogance even creates a villain, as the only reason Justin Hammer becomes an antagonist in the film is because Tony publicly humiliates him. We are repeatedly shown scenes where Hammer and Whiplash watch television and getting pissed off every time they see Tony on screen, so Tony's ego technically creates two villains. And Tony's downward spiral is poor writing. He alienates everyone around him because of his decision to keep his poor health to himself and I'm not even gonna touch on how he endangers people by fighting Rhodey in a house full of innocent bystanders. Iron Man 3: This is more Tony being a poor protagonist than an actual villain, but still, I have to cover this one. Following Avengers, where Tony was at his most heroic, there was no place for Tony's character to go but down. The moral of this movie is that Tony is a dick to everyone. The movie's villain only became a villain because Tony was dick to him years earlier. Tony is even a dick to Harley, who is the only person trying to help him at his lowest point. Tony's ego continues to put people in danger, as he gives a known terrorist his address, which nearly gets himself and Pepper killed. Tony is obviously suffering from PTSD, but because of his ego, he won't talk about it with Pepper or Rhodey or get help, even after this nearly causes one of his suits to nearly strangle Pepper. Age of Ultron: And here we return to Tony being a villain. After being shown a vision of The Avengers defeat, Tony decides it would be a great idea to plug Ultron, a program he realized was flawed but didn't do anything about, into unknown alien tech without telling any of his teammates but Bruce Banner. Predictably, this goes horribly wrong. Because Ultron had Tony as a template, it decides the best way to save the earth is to destroy the human race. You think Tony would learn his lesson from this, but no, he does the exact same thing with Vision, all but forcing Bruce to help him. Its a miracle that Vision didn't end up becoming a second Ultron. And lets not forget the only reason any of this happened was because of Tony's years of irresponsibility as CEO of Stark Industries. Civil War: Tony, wracked with guilt over Ultron, is looking for absolution and decides The Accords will give him that. And his need for absolution makes him increasingly irrational over the course of the movie. He dismisses Steve's concerns about The Accords, makes Wanda a glorified prisoner at the compound, and tries to manipulate Steve into signing The Accords. He refuses to listen to Steve's warning about The Winter Soldiers, which leads to the fight at the airport and several of his teammates' incarceration on The Raft. Yet Tony does nothing to help them, even after he himself breaks The Accords twice. And lets not forget that Tony tires to murder an innocent man for something he ha d no control over. Spider-man Homecoming: One again, Tony causes the threat by putting Adrian Toomes out of work, all but forcing Toomes to turn to a life of crime to support his family, despite the fact that it would have been quiet easy for Tony to set up Toomes with a job. And Tony is just an overall terrible mentor to Peter. Basically kidnapping him in Civil War, giving him faulty Intel, then abandoning him after he's done with Peter. He doesn't tell Peter he called the FBI on Peter's Intel, which causes Peter to mess up their operation. Then, Tony turns it around and makes it Peter's fault when Tony is the one who didn't keep Peter in the loop. And can we just talk about how messed up it is that Tony gave a teenager military grade weapons? Seriously, what was Tony thinking? In conclusion, is Tony a hero or a villain? While his intentions may be good, tony ends up creating almost every threat he and his Avenger Teammates go up against. He's a lot like Batman when you think about it. Like Batman, Tony creates his fair share of villains and threats. But unlike Batman, it is never shown that Tony does more good than bad, we just see Tony messing up over and over again. Tony is a villain, he is a villain in hero's clothing. The Jedi Order: warriors of peace or manipulative villains? In the Star Wars franchise, The Jedi order is portrayed as being the ultimate good in a galaxy plunged into darkness. However, when you look at the franchise, a disturbing pattern of behavior emerges. This pattern includes, but it not limited to, manipulation, deceit, and even violates of their own biblical code. This is most apparent in the order's relationships with the two main characters, Anakin and his son, Luke. The Chosen One: Anakin Skywalker is unnaturally gifted with The Force, to the point that Qui-Gon Jinn is convinced Anakin is he prophesized Chosen One, the one who will bring balance to The Force. Objectively speaking, it is a good idea, prophecies aside, to train someone that gifted with The Force so that this person doesn't grow up to abuse their powers. But the Jedi are so stuck in their ways they refuse. Even after they accept Anakin, Anakin is basically pawned off an Obi-Wan, who is fresh out of his own apprenticeship under Qui-Gon. I'm sure Obi-Wan did the best he could under the circumstances, but he was in no way ready to take on an apprentice, much less someone with Anakin's baggage. Anakin needed a master like Yoda, which the council would have known. It's almost like Anakin and Obi-Wan were being set up to fail. Even after being accepted into the order, Anakin is, backed up by both Legends and canon, made to feel unwelcome by the other Jedi. He is made to feel isolated, unaccepted, and like an outsider. Something that Palpatine picked up on and used, presenting himself as a friend to Anakin and fueling every negative thought and feeling Anakin has about The Order. When Anakin is haunted by visions of his mother's death, Obi-Wan dismisses them with 'dreams pass in time', despite the fact that Jedi frequently have visions of the future. When Anakin's visions ultimately come true, Anakin no doubt held a lot of resentment towards Obi-wan and the Jedi by extension for not lifting a finger to help him save his mother. Which explains a lot about his desperation to save Padme when he sees her die in childbirth in a vision. The Jedi were also not above using Anakin for their own means. When Obi-Wan needed to fake his death to infiltrate The Separatists, he wanted Anakin to see it, to use Anakin's grief to sell it. And The Jedi never once attempted to tell Anakin the truth, to prevent Anakin's pain, until Anakin had all but worked it out himself. The Jedi also made Anakin spy on Palpatine, who Anakin at the time saw as a dear friend, despite Anakin's great reluctance. The Jedi used Anakin as a tool, but did not afford him any respect or trust. They saw him as a tool, but not a person. The one exception is Obi-Wan, but even he used Anakin from time to time. The Redeemer: While The Jedi's treatment of Anakin is very disappointing, their treatment of Luke is simply appalling. Almost from the moment he meets Obi-Wan, Luke was being manipulated. Luke is told a very twisted, warped version of the truth that ensures Luke would hate Vader and want to kill him. It also ensured that Luke would not believe Vader if he did find out the truth, something that proved true. After being told that Vader is Anakin, it was not until Luke heard it confirmed by Yoda that he finally accepted it, a year later. And it is clear that Yoda and Obi-Wan never intended on telling Luke the truth. This tells us two things. The first is obviously that Yoda and Obi-Wan were planning on having Luke kill his own father without ever telling him the truth, which is manipulative and deceitful on so many levels. But second, this is full of contradiction to the Jedi Code. The Jedi are against hatred and revenge, unless it suits them it seems. Obi-Wan and Yoda were all too happy to let Luke hate and want revenge on Vader as long as it suited their purposes. The only thing they didn't count on was that, rather than killing his father, Luke would try to redeem him instead. In a scene that clearly echoes his father's visions, Luke is shown a vision of Han and Leia's suffering at Vader's hands. Yoda and Obi-wan both know this vision is true, but both tell Luke to continue his training, to let his friends die. What makes this even more disturbing is that they do this with full knowledge that Leia is Luke's sister. The Order: In conclusion, The Jedi had good intentions, but their methods raise a lot of questions about how trust worthy they are. Anakin and Luke were both used as tools by The Jedi. While what happened with Luke can be argued was a necessary evil in a galaxy ruled by The Sith, the same cannot be said for Anakin. Anakin was failed by The Jedi. They made Anakin feel isolated and alone in a time when he needed to feel like he belonged to something, they saw him as a tool to be used rather than a person with thoughts and feelings. They expected Anakin to carry out their will, to have blind faith and trust in them, but did not give him faith and trust in return. Anakin was not the only one failed by The Jedi, as there were others such as Ashoka Tano and Barriss Offee who were failed as well. Anakin was simply the last in a long line of people let down by The Jedi. Darth Vader was very much a monster of their own making, as Sidious used all their failures to turn Anakin against The Jedi. The Jedi's inability to remind themselves what it meant to be a living being is what ultimately sealed their fate. About my writing: I am usually a fairly laid back person for the most part. However, one thing I take extremely seriously is my writing. No matter what fandom I am writing, I try to keep it realistic. I write things with a sense of realism and it usually has a dark tone to it, although how much usually varies on what I am writing. My main fandoms these days is the Arrowverse, mainly Arrow and Flash, although I tend to include the Legends of Tomorrow universe and occasionally Supergirl. Although I do not simply limit myself to the Arrowverse, as I also dabble in the Vampire Diaries/Originals universe, Smallville, and occasionally Teen Wolf, Star Wars, X-Men movies, the MCU, and Buffyverse among others. Introspective is not one of my strong points, although I do try to get inside the heads of the characters in my stories at times. My stories are very plot driven and while they do have romantic relationships, it is never a major part of the story. I don't do drama or melodrama, so you won't find that in my stories. For my update schedule, I try to post something at least one a day or every other day. It all depends on if I get the inspiration for what I update. For reviews, I'm usually pretty lax. I accept constructive criticism if it is, as I said, constructive. But if it's just tearing the story or me down because you disagree with something I've done or you're just whining about a pairing, I delete it or block you. And if your review really has nothing to do with my story, then it goes to the delete pile. My preferred pairings: so, these are the pairings i prefer and if you read my stories, chances are you'll find at least one of them in here. Comics I do not have a vast knowledge of comics, so these are only judged on what I know Bruce Wayne/Selina Kyle(While Selina can be selfish, she loves Bruce and when it comes down to it, chooses him and helps him out when needed and has helped him on several occasions in his mission.) Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon(These two have a strong bond. While Dick may have interest in other women, his heart will always lead him back to Barbara) Dick Grayson/Helena Bertinelli(Dick is a good, humanizing influence on Helena's otherwise violent, brutal methods. I could see it working) Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff(Have been forced to be killers by an organization and now on a path to redemption. They can understand and relate to each other better than anyone else) Arrowverse Oliver/Sara(Sara seems to have the most connection with Oliver and is able to understand him better than even Laurel. Their experiences make it so that only one is able to completely understand the other. And Oliver has more chemistry with her than with any other female on the show. All this makes Sara arguably Oliver's best option romantically. The only thing really keeping them apart is the fact that Sara, when she first was introduced in season two, let the darkness consume her, which did not make for a good, stable relationship with Oliver. Now however, since neither of them has that problem, I think they'd be pretty good together) Oliver/Nyssa(First, I don't even wanna hear the argument that Nyssa is a lesbian. This is fanfiction, people write stories where straight characters are either gay or bi, so it's pretty hypocritical to make that argument if you don't have any problem with those stories. Oliver and Nyssa have a lot in common, both are warriors, both are very dedicated to protecting people, even if they have to use excessive force to do that, and there is a definitely a few moments in the show where you get the feeling that, if Nyssa wasn't a lesbian, she'd make a play for Oliver) Oliver/Helena(the first episode, I liked it, as there was a very Batman/Catwoman vibe. But the following episodes revealed she was a psychopath. However, with how they ended it with Helena on the path to redemption, I would not have minded Helena being brought back as a love interest) Barry/Caitlin(There is certainly a lot of unexplored chemistry between these two. They definitely have a connection and perhaps the only reason neither consider each other a viable romantic option is that Barry has been hung up on Iris, almost obsessively so, for so long that he chooses not to see other girls, which he himself admitted somewhat in season one) Barry/Patty(Lots of chemistry, both have tons in common with their personalities, their interests, both even have a little darkness in them because of, go figure, the loss of a parent. What's not to like about these two?) Cisco/Lisa(Get a real Batman/Catwoman vibe from these two. Lots of good chemistry and Cisco's brief interactions with Lisa were better than his other relationships in the show combined) Smallville Clark/Lois(These two are my preferred pairing for Clark. They had a greater connection than Clark had with almost anyone, with a few exceptions obviously. Clark was more open with Lois than he was with most people, even before they became aware of the obvious romantic feelings they had for each other. Plus, I think the Lana thing was drawn out for too long and it old after the first couple of season, especially after season six where we all knew Clark was gonna end up with Lois. I think they should've ended Clana in season six and had the Clois relationship start to develop as a romance in season six. Would've saved us all some painful assassination of Clark's character) Clark/Alicia(Speaking of assassination, let's talk about this. I honestly loved these two together, as short of their time that we had. Clark obviously did fall in love with her, not high-school love, but real, all consuming was nice to see Clark let his guard down, something he didn't do with most people at this point in the serious, and just be open with someone outside his parents. But then the writers had to ruin it by making Clark say that bold face lie that he never loved Alicia! Bull. Crap) Clark/Tess(They have an interesting dynamic that I could easily see evolving into more. From the stories of them I've read together, I would've liked to see this in the show) Oliver/Tess(They had the best chemistry out of any couple in the series. Yes, he cheated on her, but it was a less mature Ollie. And there are several moments in season nine and ten where, if there was no Chloe and Tess was not on the other side, you feel like Oliver would give being with her another shot. The Originals Klaus/Cami(I honestly think Cami is Klaus' best option for several reasons. For one, all Klaus' other viable romantic options are tainted by the fact that he did terrible things to either them or the people they loved. As I said before, a big part of a relationship is the ability to understand your partner and Cami is the only one outside his family that seems to understand Klaus because, unlike anyone else, she actually took the time to talk to him, to try to get to know what made him tick. She showed Klaus more compassion and understanding than anyone else ever has. Cami didn't make him be a better man, she made him want to be a better man) Klaus/Hayley(I go back and forth between these two, but when Hayley is being written well, I think they have a good dynamic and chemistry. They have a bond and It easily could have evolved into more if it wasn't for the writing of Plec) Buffyverse Angel/Cordelia(This relationship is crucial to both of their character development throughout Angel. They are each other's confidants, best friends, and so much more. When ever Angel falters or wavers in his commitment, Cordelia pulls him back from the edge. Angel is willing to do whatever it takes, even kill, to save her. This is one of the most organic and relatable relationships in the franchise) Angel/Darla(These two have such a complicated love spanning centuries and I would've liked to see it explored more in present day) Willow/Tara(By far one of the most relatable relationships on television, this one might be my favorite in the franchise. Like I said, it is very relatable as Tara encourages Willow to come out. They both made each other a better person and when Willow started going off the rails, Tara put a stop to it and put Willow on the path to getting help. The only bad thing I have to say about it is the tragic ending) Teen Wolf Stiles/Lydia(In the first two seasons, I found it to be creepy most of the time. However, from season three on, I Really liked the dynamic between them. I thought they had good chemistry and, as for the lack of buildup, if you rewatch season three and five and know what to look for, you can see the writers were building it up subtly) Scott/Kira(Unlike the other one, you know which one I'm talking about, they actually have chemistry and some stuff in common. That's a pretty solid foundation for a relationship) Scott/Malia(A pairing I didn't expect, but it really works. They have a lot of good chemistry and they compliment each other in ways Stiles, Allison, and Kira just didn't. Malia calls Scott on his shit and allows him to see when he needs to be more aggressive in his approach and Scott pulls her back from her 'kill or be killed' mindset and teaches her the value of teamwork and friendship. I only wish we'd gotten more of it in the show) MCU Steve/Natasha(There are several moments where you could see this becoming more than friendship. And I'm curious to see if these two could happy, because I could see them becoming a fun, sexy couple. But it has to be written in a way that doesn't just make it about the romance) Steve/Sharon(Chris and Emily had great chemistry and Steve And Sharon had a good dynamic. But the writers pushed Sharon aside to idealize Steve's relationship with Peggy. Which is unfortunate if half the things I've heard about Steve and Sharon in the comics are true) Hawkeye/Mockingbird(No offense to Hunter, but it seems like they just did the thing with Bobbi in AOS to do the Hawkingbird thing without having Hawkeye. Could've saved a lot of trouble by just introducing her as Clint's wife in Age of Ultron. Would've saved a lot of trouble by stopping the forced Natasha/Bruce thing and not destroyed any possibility of a Hawkeye movie) Clint/Laura(I was on the fence about this, because Clint having an instant family was horribly done and just seem to try and push the Nat/Bruce thing. But Laura was an awesome partner for Clint and ultimately, Endgame showed how much having a family is a part of Clint's character) Tony/Pepper(A little unrealistic, due to Pepper having to clean up Tony's messes for years on end and Tony can treat Pepper horribly at times, albeit without meaning to. But Pepper does make Tony a better person and I do enjoy their interactions, especially in the first Iron Man and Endgame) Natasha/Bucky(They could relate to each other better than anyone else. Both have been forced to be killers due organizations and both are on a path to redemption. They are the Sara and Oliver of the MCU) Matt/Elektra(I consider these two Oliver and Sara to the extreme. Two people who love each other and can relate and understand each other better than anyone but unable to coexist because of their different viewpoints) Scott/Hope(wasn't really sure about these two in Ant-Man, but Ant-Man and The Wasp really won me over. They have good chemistry and a great dynamic) Wanda/Bucky(They have a lot of similarities. Both were used by Hydra and intended to be a weapon. Both unintentionally caused a lot of pain and death and both are working to redeem themselves. I think it's an interesting possibility) Fitz/Simmons(They're a really geeky Oliver/Sara to me. Both are constantly their for another, their relationship eventually became the emotional heart of the show. One of the best written relationships in television) Bobbi/Hunter(Great paring. There is passion and caring between them. With a little more honesty from Bobbi, I think they would have stayed together) X-Men movies Logan/Jean(I feel like Jean is Logan's only viable option because I don't see any thing beyond friendship with the other X-Girls. While there is Mariko, she was only a one-off character. I find this relationship to be the most compelling romantic wise, as you can see how much Logan cares for her and she can't stop caring for him. As they say, if you truly love someone, then you would never have fallen for someone else) Bobby/Kitty(I never felt any draw to his relationship with Rogue, it felt forced to me. There was never any real connection between them besides Rogue finding someone willing to take that jump with her. Bobby and Kitty definitely have a connection and there is a lot of chemistry there) Star Wars Anakin and Padme(If written in a way that Anakin does not come off as a psycho stalker and Padme is not just useless and actually does something, yeah I could go for it) Han/Leia(I don't even know why I have to defend this pairing) Luke/Mara(He helps her free herself from Palpatine's influence and she keeps him from being too naive) Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit: Aragorn/Arwen(I wished we'd gotten a bit of them to develop it a bit more, but its still a great relationship. Renouncing an immortal life to live a life with love, well, do I need to say it?) Shadowhunters universe Jace/Clary(There's just something magnetic about these two. They keep each other on their toes) Simon/Izzy(There is definitely a connection there, both in the books and show. They actually have a lot in common when you think about it. They both feel like outsiders, both are willing to do anything for the people they love, and both are not good with feelings) Naruto: Naruto/Hinata(A perfect definition of slow burn. Hinata was the only one besides Iruka to support Naruto from the start, even if it was from a distance. While at first glance they don't have anything in common, they are actually very similar when you stop to think about it. The underline personality traits are the same: Determined, stubborn, and kind. They have a tendency to persevere and are both outcasts longing to be accepted. And come on, is there anyone who's heart wasn't touched as Hinata confessed her love to Naruto while getting beat down by Pain?) Naruto/Sakura(I hated this pairing before the time skip, but I've got a soft spot for them post time skip. Post time skip, it's one of those best friends with potential for more pairings and I could've easily seen it becoming more) Merlin: Arthur/Gwen(As I said before, usually I don't care for forbidden love stories. However, the show does such a good job with this one I can't help myself. The writers did such a good job writing this relationship, they make you care about this, they make you root for it. Gwen has no problem calling Arthur on his shit and Arthur respects her for it. She's one of the few women in Camelot to treat him like a person and not just the prince and ultimately, Arthur's transition from spoiled, self absorbed bully to the king of legend would not have been possible without her) Merlin/Morgana(This one had a lot of potential. They had a good dynamic and great chemistry, they can relate to each other better than anyone, due to having magic and living in fear of being exposed. This could've bene great, but the plot demanded Morgana become a villain) Charmed: Leo/Piper( The actors made it work very well. Usually, I'm not a fan of forbidden loves, as I think they usually end in tragedy, but this one really worked and ultimately became the emotional heart of Charmed) Paige/Henry(It was a little rushed, but the actors made it work. Given Paige's history and genetic need to help people, who better for her to end up with than a parole officer?) Once Upon a time: Hook/Emma(Started out a typical love/hate relationship but grew into much more. Honestly, this was the ship I probably rooted for the most in the show) Regina/Robin(I have a mixed opinion of them honestly. liked them in season three and I liked them in the first half of season four. But Robin moved on far too quickly for how in love he and Regina seemed to be. it cheapened that love and don't get me started on the 'rape by deception' storyline) David/Snow(It honestly feels like the journey to being together is more compelling then them actually being together. But, I still do like them, but I won't read a story exclusively about them) Tilly/Margot(They're sweet and adorable, how can you not like them?) There are others I like but those are the main ones. Disliked pairings: These are pairings you will never see me write unless it's a breakup or to show why it wouldn't work. Comics Clark Kent/Diana Prince(Aside from surface similarities (powerful, near immortal beings dedicated to protecting the innocent) they have nothing in common. Because of their immortality, they should therefore screw? Really?) Clark Kent/Lois Lane(I have a mixed opinion on these two. While I think she's a good, humanizing influence on him, I think she has treated him poorly in the past. And its implied by some of the writers that Lois cheated on him at some point) Bruce Wayne/Talia al Ghul(She constantly chose her father over him and raped him. And bot I'm just talking about the Son of Batman Arc, there's a really disturbing comic panel where Bruce wakes up after she's raped him. Just no) Bruce Wayne/Diana Prince(Would likely just be a passionate fling then fizzle out, as they are too similar) Arrowverse: Oliver/Felicity(For one thing, they have no chemistry as a couple. Second, Felicity is not a very good person to Oliver. Every time they face an issue, whether it be personal or professional, Felicity has to make it about herself, like she did about his son both times. She apparently hates it when Oliver lies to her, but has no problem lying to him. And I tend to not like relationships that are emotionally abusive, which Felicity is very emotionally abusive towards Oliver) Oliver/E-1 Laurel(I have written them in the past and I do enjoy writing them. They have a lot of chemistry and Laurel understands him more than almost anyone outside of Sara and Slade. But the cheating on her repeatedly and Laurel still staying with him, showing no self respect, and the fact that Laurel showed no conflicting feelings for him in the first few episodes makes it hard for me to root for this pairing in the early seasons. And quite honestly, the harassment from the Laurel fanatics makes me have no desire to write for this ship anymore) Oliver/E-2 Laurel(Honestly, I think they had good interactions in 5x10 before Felicity ruined it. But they really just ruined it in season six by making Laurel one dimensional. And honestly, same problem with the Laurel fanatics. I'm not very likely to write for this ship anymore either, despite the fact I enjoy writing and reading it) Oliver/Kara( It's more f an opposites attract relationship than anything. I also don't think Oliver could ever be with someone who values their principles over innocent lives) Barry/Iris(They have no chemistry as a couple. And even if they did, I still would not like this couple because they were raised as brother and sister. I'm sorry, but it is just freaking weird, especially considering the father/son bond between Barry and Joe. And even that aside, Iris treats Barry like shit. She makes fun of his interests, she blames him for things that aren't his fault, she has no regard for his feelings and after 5x19, I'm not sure how anyone can ship them together) Barry/Kara( Like Oliver, I don't think Barry would ever be with someone who lets millions of people die just to feel good about herself) Sara/Snart(They really don't seem to have any chemistry as a couple. Furthermore, there was no hint on either side that either cared about each other as more than friends until it was episode fifteen) Alex/Maggie(The most unnecessary relationship on the show. Maggie was pretty much only there to tell us that Alex is gay. She had no other storyline at all aside from that stuff with her father, but that is pretty pointless since Maggie was written out two episodes later) James/Lena(I'll be honest, I don't hate this one. It did what the writers haven't been able to do in two seasons, it made James interesting. But the buildup could have been better. It's pretty weird since in the past, James has had such issues with Lena due to her being Lex's sister. And this only seems to come about because they have no idea what to do with James and since they aren't making Lena a villain for the foreseeable future, they have no idea what to do with her either, and so they just threw them together) Caitlin/Julian(It was very forced and just happened because the writers had no idea what to do with Julian following having him no longer be Alchemy. And why do they have to keep pairing Caitlin up with random characters?) Cisco/Gypsy(They have the same powers, therefore they must screw? I'm sorry, but that's a very weak foundation for a relationship. And it seems very forced to me) Wally/Jesse(Jesse has her father's ego and didn't even have the decency to end the relationship face to face. Plus, the chemistry felt forced and the relationship rushed) Nyssa/Sara(These two are okay I guess but they were only brought together through circumstance. Remove those circumstances (the League) and I don't think these two would last long as a couple) Caitlin/Harry(I'm gonna be honest, I don't get this pairing at all. Harry is almost enough to be her father and Caitlin has been shown to get very annoyed with his ego. Honestly, I think the most likely scenario for a relationship would end with Caitlin or Killer Frost murdering him in his sleep) Smallville: Clark/Lana(It was cute the first few seasons, but it was stretched on for far too long. Lana became a horrible person over the course of the relationship, constantly hurting Clark and putting those he cared about in danger. And ultimately, she just became power-hungry and someone who would not be good for Clark) Lois/Oliver(They had great chemistry but Lois being on a one woman crusade against the Green Arrow really ruined it for me) The Originals: Elijah/Hayley(It is sick. He is the uncle of her daughter, it's just really weird. Further more, Elijah just becomes her little whipping boy. He does whatever she says, whether its right or wrong and she can do no wrong in his eyes, even she is very clearly in the wrong) Klaus/Caroline(I used to like them but I realize now what a toxic relationship this is. Klaus has tried to kill her three times, once after he allegedly loved her, all while doing terrible things to the people Caroline loves. Caroline, for her part, has had no problem with distracting Klaus so her friends can work on their plan to either incapacitate or kill Klaus. Yet we are supposed to believe that she would have sex with Klaus, something which made me lose all respect for Caroline as a character, since she had been ragging about Damon to Elena constantly up to that point. But the deal breaker should be the fact that Caroline made light of his brother's death, called his charred corpse 'this thing' in front of him. I don't care what anyone says, family is the most important thing to Klaus. At best, he would never want anything to with her after that, at worst he would kill her over it) Freya/Keelin(Freya chained Keelin up, tortured her, and left her in inhumane conditions. Yet we're supposed to believe that Keelin would want anything to do with her afterwards, let alone want to be with Freya?) Teen Wolf: Scott/Allison( No Chemistry, at all. She was a huntress, so that certainly put a damper on the relationship. She obviously knew more about Stiles being held in the basement than she was letting on and tried to kill Derek and his pack without any remorse. Why would Scott still want to be with this girl after all that? Oh yes, plot over logic) Stiles/Malia(Looking back, I don't hate the concept of it, although I will likely never read a story exclusively about them. Rather, I hate the execution. Their hookup in Eichen house was random and made little sense. And that seems to be the only basis their relationship had in season four, making t seem less like a relationship and more of an exclusive friends with benefits thing. In season five, Malia's character had evolved and her relationship with Stiles along with it, but then they broke up. Because the foundation of this relationship was very weak) Lydia/Jackson(He treated her like freaking shit during most of the first two seasons. And I suspect that Lydia's fake persona may have been the result of emotional and maybe even physical abuse when Lydia showed her true self to Jackson) Lydia/Parrish(So, they're both harbingers of death, therefor they must screw? And, to be perfectly honest, I find this relationship inappropriate and creepy for a police officer and a girl in high school) Buffyvese: Buffy/Angel(It was rushed and forced. It was also creepy. He shows up, give her advice, disappears into the shadows and Buffy is in love with him? No way, she didn't even know what love was) Willow/Kennedy(Willow was obviously uncomfortable with Kennedy's advances, so why are we expected to believe that three episodes later, she is now responding to them? They had no chemistry and Kennedy is someone that I just cannot see Willow being attracted to) Star Wars: Kylo Ren/Rey(Only happening because of fan service and two boring characters makes for a boring ship) MCU: Natasha/Bruce(It was very forced and seemed to come out of nowhere. No chemistry and just...do I need to say more? Frankly, it's like they decided Bruce need a love interest but, rather than bring Betty back, they randomly chose Natasha) Steve/Peggy(Peggy seems to play games with Steve, never really giving him a clear indication about whether she likes him as a friend or more. And the fact that she shot at him because she was mad has disturbing parallels to domestic violence) Wanda/Vision(I don't know why, but I find the way Vision looks at Wanda extremely creepy. And the fact he does not seem to have any respect for her personal space has warning bells screaming 'stalker alert' going off in my head. And what exactly does a former AI who has no real grasp on humanity and emotions have in common with a young woman just now starting to move on from a traumatic experience she had as a child while also dealing with the tragic death of her twin brother? There's also the fact that there's a controlling/manipulative aspect to it in Civil War that is still slightly present in Infinity War) Thor/Jane(She was always the worst part of the Thor Movies. It felt very forced and rushed to me. On paper, I get it, she's what helps Thor connect to humanity, but seriously, why her? I mean, doesn't Thor already connect to humanity through his Avenger teammates and human friends? So why does Thor need her? Answer, he doesn't) Matt/Claire(It was so forced! And Claire is such a bitch to him about being Daredevil. Just no) Matt/Karen(Pretty much the same as Matt/Claire, only it was a lot more forced) Steve/Bucky(an insult to the idea of bromance and it cheapens their bond) Steve/Tony(it makes no sense. There is no basis to this, as they are polar opposites. And Steve has never shown any indication that he is amused or charmed by Tony's antics or that he is attracted to Tony. Tony has also never given any indication that he feels anything towards Steve other than friendship and grudging respect) Ward/Skye(Mostly because Ward is written as a unredeemable psychopath after season one but also because Skye/Daisy becomes a rather unlikeable character following season two) Daisy/Lincoln(It felt pretty rushed to me and I wasn't feeling the chemistry between them. It seems like one of those rebound couples honestly and I think they are better off as friends) Coulson/May(On paper, it seems like it could work. The problem is the build up to it wasn't great, because it wasn't built up at all. It was basically just shoved in their in season four and it felt like a purely fan serviced move. Plus, the actors just don't have a whole lot of romantic chemistry) Mack/Elena(There wasn't a lot of build up to this one either and honestly, Elena's character and her relationship with Mack wasn't developed enough for it to reach the point it did in season four and five) Lord of the Rings/The Hobbit: Aragorn/Eowyn( Just felt cliché and Eowyn was too good of a character to be forced into the love interest role) Sam/Frodo(An insult to the idea of bromance) Legolas/Tauriel(A completely pointless relationship. This was only added to create a love triangle. If you took out Legolas being in love with her, The Hobbit would end almost exactly the same. They were much better as friends) Kili/Tauriel(I'm more mixed about this two. I found it preferable to Legolas/Tauriel, I even found myself rooting for it at times. But could a dwarf and an elf ever really work? Not to mention it takes away from Legolas and Gimli's friendship in the original trilogy) Naruto: Sasuke/Sakura(Not opposed to the concept of it, but rather the execution. To make this happen, Kishimoto basically had to strip away all of Sakura's character development until she was little more than the fan girl she was at the start of the series) Merlin: Gwen/Lancelot(It seems superficial to me. Lancelot seemed more in love with the idea of Gwen having such faith in him rather than who Gwen actually was. And t hey really don't seem to know each other than well prior to season four. I thought calling it love was really overselling it) Charmed: Phoebe/Cole(Honestly, Cole is just better as a villain. And this another example of why forbidden loves don't work. If they don't end in tragedy or heartbreak, they end with the pair despising each other, or in this case, one despising the other as the other loses his mind) Harry Potter: I pretty much dislike all ships in this fandom, but let's go Harry/Ginny(Basically, it is a fan girl gets the hero rather than a hero gets the girl. Neither in the movies or in the books do we get an explanation on why Harry is so in love with her. o thanks) Harry/Hermione(In the books, Hermione is, at best, the nagging older sister who won't leave Harry alone and at worst, a control freak who will not be satisfied until Harry does exactly what she says. In the movies, she still has similar problems. She always has to be right, always has to be the best, and constantly disagrees with Harry unless it's what she wants. Just no) Ron/Hermione(She has no respect for him and treats him like he's five and needs to have his hand held. On the other hand, he can be an absolute dick to her. Murder waiting to happen) Draco/anyone in Gryffindor(I find Draco to be an interesting character and the concept of Draco redemption to be intriguing. However, you can't change facts: Draco is a death eater, the Nazis of the HP world. And even before then, he was raised to despise everything our heroes represent and spent the first five books/movies being the death eater spokesperson of Hogwarts. Just because Draco ultimately realizes he does not have it in him to take a life doesn't change that) Once upon a time Emma/Neal(He knocked her up, sold her out, framed her, and made her give birth in prison. All because he didn't want to see his father. If that's love, I don't want it) Rumple/Belle(His power is constantly more important to him than Belle and, by season six, he is abusive to Belle emotionally. Just no, Belle deserves better) Henry/Jacinda(Forced chemistry and they're pretty boring to watch TBH) Current Writing Priorities: Still out of time: Rather than traveling through time when trying to stop the Tsunami, Barry simply stops it. This story explores the aftermath of the day no one but Barry remembers. Torn between two earths: Goes AU after 3x07. Overwhelmed by everything that had happened because of Flashpoint, Barry goes for a run and accidentally goes to the MCU during the final stand against Ultron. Stranded, Barry finds a new family in the Avengers but what happens when his old family comes looking for him? Read to find out. Scott's story: Fifteen years post 6x20, The pack, what remains of it, brings their past selves, their families, and Derek from the end of the Pilot to watch the show. Family is power: To prevent Roy from serving a life sentence at Iron Heights, Oliver and Thea break him out and go on the run. However, it's not long before they run into trouble. They are forced to rely on old allies for help as they go up against a new enemy even as a former ally out for revenge pursues them. "They hurt her" About six years ago in Indiana, Carmen Winstead was pushed down a sewer opening by five girls in her school, trying to embarrass her in front of her school during a fire drill. When she didn't submerge, the police were called. They went down and brought up 17-year-old Carmen Winstead's body, with her neck broken from hitting the ladder, then the concrete at the bottom. The girls told everyone she fell... They believed them. FACT: About two months later, 16-year-old David Gregory read this post and didn't repost it. When he went to take a shower, he heard laughter, started freaking out, and ran to his computer to repost it. He said goodnight to his mom and went to sleep, but five hours later, his mom woke up in the middle of the night from a loud noise and David was gone. A few hours later, the police found him in the sewer, with a broken neck and the skin on his face peeled off. Even Google her name - you'll find this to be true. If you don't repost this saying "They hurt her," then Carmen will get you, either from a sewer, the toilet, the shower, or when you go to sleep, you'll wake up in the sewer, in the dark, then Carmen will come and kill you. The white man said, "Colored people are not allowed here." The black man turned around and stood up. He then said: "Listen sir...when I was born I was BLACK, When I grew up I was BLACK, When I'm sick I'm BLACK, When I go in the sun I'm BLACK, When I'm cold I'm BLACK, When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, When you're born you're PINK, When you grow up you're WHITE, When you're sick, you're GREEN, When you go in the sun you turn RED, When you're cold you turn BLUE, And when you die you turn PURPLE. And you have the nerve to call me colored?" The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away... Post this on your profile if you hate racism. I was walking around in a target store, when I saw a cashier hand this little boy some money back. The boy couldn't have been more than 5 or 6 years old. The cashier said, " I'm sorry but you don't have enough money to buy this doll." Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: " Granny are you sure I don't have enough money?"The old lady replied: "You know that you don't have enough money to bye this doll, my dear." Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to take a look around. She left quickly. The little was still holding the doll in his hand. Finally, I walked toward him and i asked him who he wished to give the doll to. "It's the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas. She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her." I replied to him that maybe Santa Claus would bring it to her after all, and not to worry. But he replied to me sadly. "No, Santa Claus can't bring it to where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there." His eyes where so sad while saying this. "My sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister." My heart nearly stopped. The little boy looked up at me and said: " I told Daddy to tell mommy to not go yet I need her to wait until I come back from the mall ." Then he showed me a very nice photo of him where he was laughing. He then told me "I want mommy to take my picture with her so she wont forget me. I love my mommy and I wish she doesn't have to leave me, but my daddy says that she has to go be with my sister." Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly. I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy: " Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough for the doll?" "OK ," he said , " I hope I do have enough." I added some of my money without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money. The little boy said: "Thank you god for giving me enough money!" Then he looked at me and added, "I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I have enough money to buy this doll so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me!" " I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but i didn't dare ask God for too much. But he gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose." A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket. I finished my shopping in a totally different state from when I started. I couldn't get the little boy out of my mind. Then i remembered a local newspaper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl. The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma. Was this the family of the little boy? Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the newspaper that the young woman had passed away. I couldn't stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was exposed for people to see and make last final wishes before her burial. She was there in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed on her chest. I left the place teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed forever... The love that the little boy had for his sister and his mother is still hard to imagine. And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all of this away from him. You have 2 choices: 1) re post this story 2) ignore it as if it never touched your heart! A teenage girl about 17 named Diane had gone to visit some friends one evening and time passed quickly as each shared their various experiences of the past year. She ended up staying longer than planned, and had to walk home alone. She wasn't afraid because it was a small town and she lived only a few blocks away. As she walked along under the tall elm trees, Diane asked God to keep her safe from harm and danger. When she reached the alley, which was a short cut to her house, she decided to take it. However, halfway down the alley she noticed a man standing at the end as though he were waiting for her. She became uneasy and began to pray, asking for God's protection. Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness and security wrapped round her, she felt as though someone was walking with her. When she reached the end of the alley, she walked right past the man and arrived home safely. The following day, she read in the newspaper that a young girl had been raped in the same alley just twenty minutes after she had been there. Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and the fact that it could have been her, she began to weep. Thanking the Lord for her safety and to help this young woman, she decided to go to the police station. She felt she could recognize the man, so she told them her story. The police asked her if she would be willing to look at a line up to see if she could identify him. She agreed and immediately pointed out the man she had seen in the alley the night before. When the man was told he had been identified, he immediately broke down and confessed. The officer thanked Diane for her bravery and asked if there was anything they could do for her. She asked if they would ask the man one question. Diane was curious as to why he had not attacked her. When the policeman asked him, he answered, "Because she wasn't alone. She had two tall men walking on either side of her." Amazingly, whether you believe or not, you're never alone. Did you know that 98 of teenagers will not stand up for God, and 93 of the people that read this won’t repost it? Repost this if you truly believe in God. Prove it by saving yourself - and us, too, while you’re at it!’ (40) But the other criminal protested, ‘Don’t you fear God even when you have been sentenced to die? (41) We deserve to die for our crimes, but this man hasn’t done anything wrong.’ (42) Then he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your Kingdom.’ (43) And Jesus replied, ‘I assure you, today you will be with me in paradise.’” 1 PETER 2:24 “He personally carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. All schools have a class clown, someone that gets on everyones nerves and that no one likes. There was one of these boys in this one school. Nobody liked him at all. He had no friends, the teachers hated him for his disruptiveness, and the students found him annoying beyond belief. He never seemed to care. One day, he had finally stepped on his teachers last nerve. What the teacher did was make everyone in the class stand up and tell the boy something they didn't like about him. As each of the thirty students stood up and said something about him they didn't like, he only sat and didn't seem to mind. All of the students did it. That day, when school was out, the boy went home, grabbed his dads gun, and shot himself in the head. If you think that the teacher was to blame, and that what she did was morally wrong and completely shameful, copy and paste this into your profile. Then, if you would have been the one to stand up and say "I'm not going to do this" then add your username to the list. COMMON SENSE (Found on BlackSaint's Profile) Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing.
