My first attempt at writing. When Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire Dumbledore gives him a choice. Either participate in the tournament or lose his magic and leave Hogwarts. This is another of those "How it Might've Gone" type of stories. The plunnie that dropped it off in my head came by after I read the first chapter of Bobmin356's story "The Queen Who Fell to Earth", but in this one Harry does die because of the dragon. This story is about what happened later that day.

Set at the end of OOTP. Hermione is worried about Harry returning to Privet Drive for the summer and resolves to make his stay more enjoyable. I have a lot of plot ideas floating around, of varying degrees of complexity. I'm creating this collection as a place to post the shorter ones that I don't feel warrant a separate title of their own. My thinking is that this might be a way to write up some of these ideas, post them, and move on instead of trying to stretch everything into a full story. We'll see how it goes.

Hermione's explanation of the inscriptions on the tombstones in Godric's Hollow leads Harry to want something similar for Dobby's tombstone. Which leads to a revelation that changes the course of the story.

A decade has passed since the brightest witch of her age left England to search for her parents. Now employed by the Australian Ministry of Magic, Inspector Granger heads a special group of witches and wizards whose call sign is TASS – Tactical Assault Surveillance and Suppression.

Hermione makes a promise to her mother, after restoring her memories, before heading back to Hogwarts for her 8th year. What did she promise? To act like the carefree teenager she never got to be and follow through on five things. Somehow she ropes Harry into adopting the list as well and they soon find out that love is quite complicated! It should make for an interesting year!

A simple auror undercover mission, polyjuice, Draco Malfoy's hair, and the Half Blood Prince's potions text combine to find Harry in yet another hospital bed trying to explain a couple of things to Hermione. Rated T for mild cursing on someone's part Every time a Neo Death Eater cries, an auror gets his wings

In canon, healers and mediwitches were seemingly spared from the predations of the Death Eaters during both Blood Wars. St. Mungo's would have been a very soft target, but it stood inviolate. One patient was attacked, but the hospital and it's staff were spared. The question is, why? What could have kept mad killers in check? As with a great many other things, Poppy knew.

It always bugged me that Harry, as an abused kid, accepted the way Ron spoke of and to Hermione. What if Harry had stood up to Ron? How would the troll incident have gone? This is how it should probably have been written if JKR had not been so intent on the OBHWF trope. Enjoy! Warning for some strong language, hence the M rating, and for fairly heavy Ron bashing.

Neville gets a visit from an old housemate who is very distressed about something in the Daily Prophet. Unfortunately for Ginny, for once the Prophet has gotten it right. Inspired by, but not taken from, Seel'vor's classic 'Lily versus Ginny' story, this story references Harmony (HHr) though neither one appears in the story.

AU. Voldemort has finally been defeated, and the survivors are still mourning the dead and treating the wounded when Hermione, wandering aimlessly through Hogwarts Castle, discovers all is not as it seems.

The outrage over having the Quidditch season cancelled was muted too quickly in canon. A fourth year Gryffindor witch decides that someone needs to do something to rescue her best friend from impending disaster, and she has just the tool to fix both problems.

It's Halloween and Harry Potter has a task more daunting than facing down a troll after two months in school, tracking down Hermione Granger when she's trying not to be found. While not a complete crossover, the story does reference the works of Charles Schultz with all do consideration to both his memory and the world of JK Rowling. And no bashing was intended or accomplished.

Plot holes. Some are only tiny; but others challenge the Grand Canyon. What does Harry do about the Tr-Wizard Tournament if he decides to think outside the box? And not about winning, but just surviving?

Hermione recieves a letter from Gringotts that changes the life of her and her best friend, as well as many other muggleborns. Just a little tale I wrote to pass an hour or so. H/Hr. Hermione's late for work and a minor problem with the floo network adds to her problems.

Disaster has struck. Evil has triumphed. And only Luna sees the impending apocalypse. Well, Luna and several thousand of her closest online friends. Set in the same 'Luna gamergirl' world as Luna's Road Trip. Rated T for convention references. The second chapter is set within NCSoft's 'City of Heroes' and involves Luna and several persons from that world, which is now gone.

A 173 old Harry Potter travels back in time to hopefully undo the mistakes of the past. Will contain Weasley bashing and a manipulative, but not evil Dumbledore. This is AU, but will follow canon, somewhat.

We all remember the scene from "Deathly Hallows": Harry was struck down by the Dark Lord, and his spirit seemed to go to King's Cross and confer with Albus Dumbledore. Suppose, instead of returning directly to his body, Harry's spirit came back late?

Forced to compete in the Triwizard Tournament against his will, Harry faces things which no fourteen year old wizard should. A loss of innocence, coupled with betrayal, causes Harry to either give up or change in order to meet the challenges ahead.

The dance scene in Deathly Hallows part one, transferred to the written word. I'm aware that this has been done before, but I feel that my interpretation is unique in some ways. No true ship- mentions of both H/G and R/Hr, but obviously some H/Hr as well.

Harry is left with the Dursleys just after his godfather had died. One thing leads to the other and Harry is fed up with being a puppet. He breaks free and finds help. And boy, does he start rocking the boat.

A witch's 17th birthday is a day of some importance. A milestone. And Hedwig has decided that Hermione Jane Granger needs a slight push in the right direction to get her off the path she's taking. And if there's one thing a flying predator knows, it's shock and awe. Rated T for language.

As far as birthdays go, Hermione's seventeenth was becoming her worst. She could deal with her peers forgetting her special day, but when Harry and Ron forgets, that was the last straw. Taking refuge in the Room of Requirement, she expected to read the night away alone. What she could not predict was meeting Harry's son and being whisked away into the future!

Getting through the Snape's hazard at the end of first year showed that wizards didn't have much in the way of logic. A much cooler Sphinx in the Third Task of the TriWizard Tournament could have made for a much different experience for some. Not to be taken seriously, this is definitely AU and more than a bit OOC. But the Sphinx is cool. Luna said so.

MIx one gaming convention, a bit of cosplay, and Luna Lovegood and what do you get? An international incident of course. Which, Harry and Hemrione have to sort out. And just who ordered these zombies?

Harry Potter is tired of running blindly into life and death situations. This series is about Harry thinking before he leaps. It starts off at the summer following the events that transpired in Prisoner of Azkaban.

It wasn't supposed to end like this. But life goes on anyway. A bittersweet ending to the Harry Potter story.

Begins right after HBP and goes through summer. Besides searching for Horcruxes, focus is on the relationship between Harry and Hermione. They are the main characters, but it's not necessarily a romantic relationship. Some HG romance in the background.

HBP left us with a half played chess match. Riddle's goal is to finish off Harry. Harry needs to find the Horcruxes and train to destroy Riddle. CH 28. Surprises and chills await as the story comes to a conclusion.

The war is over. Voldemort won. The light's last hope is a desperate ploy, concocted by an insane genius, that probably won't work anyway. Now Harry must find a way to win a war he's already lost once before.

Harry’s destiny has taken a sharp turn from what was intended. At age seven, he figures out that he can make things happen at will, like magic. He forms a gang of Dudley's female victims, who gather for mutual protection and later friendship. Together,

One-shot. Little fic I wrote in response to the common HHr theory that it'll be something akin to being hit with a baseball bat when Harry finally realizes how important Hermione is to him. Naturally, I wrote a fic depicting the exact opposite.
