We discover that Emma and Killian knew each other before, when Emma unknowingly uses her powers at eight yeras old to a then eleven year old Killian and eventually something happens to make them forget one another. In present day it's just after the events of the mid season finale and Emma comes back to Granny's to talk to Killian about what happened with Rumple.

"All magic comes with a price," seems to be the Storybrooke mantra, and Emma can't help the dread that builds inside her when she realizes that she's suddenly imbued with instantaneous healing abilities, making her practically indestructible. She knows that there must be a dark side to this newfound magical power. What she doesn't know is that someone else is paying the price.

Hook returns from the Enchanted Forest to find Emma in New York, hoping to jog her memory and take up from where they left off, to find that his heart's First Mate has added to his "crew", his parting gift given to her before the whole missing year. But this is no ordinary little gift. It comes with a mission... Rated T for possible foul language and some sexual contexts.

Modern day AU. When Emma and Killian are unknowingly set up on a blind date by their well-intentioned, but meddling friends, they decide that they're going to get back at Mary Margaret and David and make sure this is the last time either of them are set up on blind dates again.
