There are a variety of reasons for this, but the main ones being that

a) I get addicted to new shows which will consume my life, leaving all interest in any other show very low, b) I get new story ideas like the plague, c) I didn't plan any of my stories ahead and therefore have lost all ideas for how they would develop/what would happen, and d) I am actually quite busy, believe it or not...
