Author has written 14 stories for Warriors, Harry Potter, Sonic the Hedgehog, Lord of the Rings, Fairy Tail, Sword Art Online/ソードアート・オンライン, Hobbit, Avengers, Criminal Minds, and NCIS. Formerly Me Llamo Berry. Hello. I am 26 years old, female, and an aspiring novelist. I'm also happily married as of September 30, 2017. You can find me on Tumblr under Ouzoathena11 and Ouzoa11-writes. The latter is my writing blog so if you want updates on my progress that's the way to go. I do have a ko-fi, so check that out if you want to donate a dollar or two. Oh, and I do have an AO3 account under the same name as this one. I haven't gotten around to posting any of my ongoing stories there because I decided to do some (hopefully minor) rewrites before doing that and I haven't gotten around to that. I have a 16 month old daughter who I adore but is very needy and clingy, especially around dinner time. I am also pregnant so that's been a bit rough, since I'm experiencing symptoms in the second trimester, which is usually the time expecting moms get a break from symptoms. It'll be worth it, but right now it's just... exhausting. It does not help that I have to work at 6 am five days a week and I am not a morning person. I am currently participating in Camp Nano July 2020. I'm hoping to get a lot accomplished over the next month, if I can wrestle my depression and ADHD back for an hour or more every day. I'll probably go down to a more sustainable level once the month is over. But I do plan to aim to slowly increase how much I can write in a day eventually. If mental health and life in general actually start cooperating for once. Policy regarding updates and continuing stories: I seem to be getting a few reviews over the last few months asking if a story was abandoned. If a story of mine was abandoned, I would remove it. If a story is still up and hasn't been updated in years, I still plan on updating it. If you ask and its only been a few months since I updated, I will be annoyed. Why? Because most fanfics I follow update once a month at most. Many go months without an update, some even years. If I read a fanfic, I don't wonder about updates unless its been at least a year since it was updated. I know that may be just me. I feel this way because of how rare it is to find someone who will update more than once a month consistently. Anyways, you ask, you get directed to my profile and tumblr in annoyance. I prefer my chapters to be at least 5k words long. Though I actually go by what I want to accomplish in that chapter and only push scenes to the next chapter if I feel its going too long. So it can take weeks to have one chapter ready for a story since, when I am actually consistently writing, I only write for each story once a week. I do hope to work my way up to 1.5k and 750 words per project (depending on the project) within a few months after being able to type normally again. Even then, that means a month before I finish a chapter plus editing. The problem with editing is getting my husband to do so in a decent timeframe. So yeah, don't expect frequent updates unless I'm behind on uploading finished chapters. Review policy: I will attempt to respond to reviews when I get them, as input and praise both mean a lot to me. However, I respond better to constructive criticism than mindless praise, insults, rudeness, and condescension. So please keep that in mind and I'll enjoy responding and conversing with you about the quality of my work. I want nothing more than to improve and see people enjoy my work. I can't improve without proper reviews. I rarely leave reviews for other people, so if you ask me to read a story don't expect one unless you want me to give you constructive criticism, as that's the only type of review I will give. I don't feel comfortable giving mindless praise, partially because I hate it, but also because I don't see the point of reviewing if that is all I have to say about the chapter. Part of the reason I don't always review is because I read so much fanfiction I often treat it like a book and don't want to say anything. There's also the fact that a lot of updates I read when I'm at work so I can't review then. My reviews also tend to be on the longer side and that takes time to type, time I don't always have even with a decent typing speed. |
