After being attacked by a mysterious enemy, Sam finds himself sent back to 1997. While he is stuck in his fourteen year old body, fourteen year old Sam is stuck in adult Sam's body.

Sam abandons his father (John) and his brother (Dean) for college. John and Dean need to train a new hunting partner in case Sam never comes back, so they look to a broken orphan who needs a home and a purpose in life after a horrible tragedy.

A missing person. Anonymous phone calls. Ransom demands. But this time, John doesn't have Sherlock to lead the investigation. Why? Because Sherlock's the hostage. When the kidnapper begins to send photographs to John as incentive to work faster, will John be able to work out where Sherlock is being held and get to him in time?
