![]() Author has written 36 stories for Sammy Keyes, Ned's Declassified SSG, Twilight, Maximum Ride, My Boys, Series Of Unfortunate Events, Glee, Jedi Quest series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Doctor Who, Criminal Minds, and Arrow. Okay, apparently this site decided to delete my super nice, updated bio (is that just a New Year thing or what??). So I'll try to remember everything I wrote. I hadn't updated this thing since 2012 so I figured now would be a good time. I am currently a fourth year college student studying linguistics. I'm especially interested in forensic linguistics (Blake from Criminal Minds) but I could also go into computational linguistics (creating a GPS voiced by Morgan Freeman is something I could potentially do with that) or speech and language pathology. I'm still not really sure. I'm in way too many fandoms to even begin to list (so I'll just list some of my favorite pairings), music is a very big passion of mine, and I have been writing for about 12 years? That sounds about right. I was born in Boston, Massachusetts but grew up in California and I still hate this state. I would much rather live on the east coast because a) Dunkin Donuts b) actual seasons and c) getting cold enough to wear awesome winter clothes. It never gets that cold here. My name is still not Sheena. My username comes from the Ramones song by the same name. If you haven't heard it, you're missing out. Go listen to it! If you couldn't tell by the username, I love punk. I love everything about punk music and almost all its sub-genres. I'm particularly interested in Celt-punk and my favorite bands are Green Day, Flogging Molly, and the Dropkick Murphys. I'm also a guitarist. I've been playing guitar for about 13 years (and I teach lessons now) and besides that, I also play bass, drums, piano, the Irish tin whistle, and I sing. Besides punk, I also enjoy rhythm and blues from the 50s, motown, rockabilly, some classic rock, and 60s music that's not folk or psychedelic rock. I think that's really all you have to know about me. I have way too many favorite movies and books to list. I mostly like musicals as far as movies go but I will say that Lemony Snicket/Daniel Handler is my all-time favorite author. The Basic Eight written by Daniel Handler is my favorite book. All of his work is fantastic and I have pored over A Series of Unfortunate Events at least six times and I am still finding new things! I strongly suggest that everyone either read or reread that series and look for all the hidden references and clues and stuff. You'll be amazed. As stated above, there are just too many fandoms for me to list BUT I will say that my all time favorite fictional character is Ray Palmer aka DC Comic's The Atom. The Atom is my favorite superhero, Ray's my favorite character, and I am just very emotionally attached to him. Any Arrow fans out there who have questions about him, do not hesitate to ask me because I know basically everything about him. Lemony Snicket (character not author) is another character I am weirdly emotionally attached to. He used to be my favorite favorite but Ray took his place. But I do really love both characters. Pet Peeves: I only have one really big pet peeve and that is people who insist that they have no accent! Listen very closely: EVERYONE has an accent! It's not something you either have or don't have. An accent is the way that you, as an individual speak. No two people speak exactly the same way but large groups who speak similarly are speaking the same dialect. But everyone has an accent. Even Deaf people have accents. No two Deaf people sign the exact same way, therefore they have accents! Heroes: -George Harrison. He was an amazing musician/songwriter as well as a great person and I just really admire and look up to him. He's by far my favorite Beatle. -Ringo Starr. Second favorite Beatle and I honestly believe the band would not be as famous without both him and George. I wrote a paper on that actually. Anyway, I really admire how far Ringo's come from his Beatles days, where he endured a lot of crap. -Neil Byrne from Celtic Thunder. He's a great guitarists and I really admire him. -Everyone in Green Day. Green Day was my gateway into the world of punk rock and I haven't looked back since. I really admire everyone in the band and still love them even years later. -Daniel Handler. Again, fantastic writer. Who plays the accordion. -Greg Graffin, lead singer of Bad Religion. He is probably the smartest human being I've ever heard speak and is a professor at UCLA who teaches a class on evolution. He gives off the impression that he genuinely cares about his students and how they're doing and I really love that and hope I can take a class with him one day. Also, he's an awesome vocalist and songwriter. Brett Gurewitz is also a great songwriter. -punk guitarists in general. I love punk's simplicity and I love that guitarists generally stick to that simplicity and don't over complicate things. Fave Pairings (in no particular order: Series of Unfortunate Events: Lemony Snicket/Beatrice Arrow: AtomicSmoak. That would be Ray Palmer/Felicity Smoak for those out of the loop. This is OTP of all OTPs! Like, I don't ship two characters harder than I ship these two. Harry Potter: Seamus/Luna is my OTP. I also ship Draco/Hermione, Fred/Hermione, Oliver/Hermione (no idea why), Cedric/Hermione, Oliver Wood/Katie Bell and depending on how well it's written, occasionally Seamus/Hermione. Doctor Who: The Doctor/Martha. I ship her with pretty much all incarnations of The Doctor. This is my second OTP and what AtomicSmoak replaced as ultimate OTP. Defiance: Tommy/Irisa, Nolan/Kenya (OTP), Nolan/Berlin, Nolan/Stahma, and Christy/Alak. I don't ship him with anyone but Mordecai is one of the most adorable Jewish characters ever. Sherlock: Sherlolly Percy Jackson: Rachel/Apollo! The fandom needs more fanfiction for these two. I also ship Will Solace/Katie Gardner. Grease: Sandy/Kenickie. I hate Danny with a fiery passion and feel like Rizzo and Kenickie are too similar in temperament to be a healthy couple. I think Sandy and Kenickie would be good for each other. Glee: Puckleberryl! The Big Bang Theory: Shenny Star Trek (2009): Spock/Uhura, Scotty/Uhura friendship, Scotty/Gaila DC Universe: Dick Grayson/Barbara Gordon are perfect together and no one can tell me otherwise. I also ship Batman/Silver St. Cloud, Batman/Black Canary (Dinah Lance), Robin (Tim)/Wonder Girl (Cassie), and The Flash (Wally)/Hawkgirl (I still love Wally/Linda though). I don't ship it romantically but I also really really love the dynamic Dick and baby assassin Damian had together. Dick was the perfect older brother/father figure to him and I am very sad the duo got broken up. They're my favorite Batman and Robin duo. Inception: Ariadne/Arthur Criminal Minds: LUKE/GARCIA!!!! I'm so fucking in love with this ship! JJ/Will. William LaMontagne Jr. is my favorite CM character. Mick Rawson/Prentiss, Hotch/Beth, and Reid/Austin the bartender from "52 Pickup" Moulin Rouge: Christian/Satine Bones: Zack/Angela. Don't ask why. Because I do not know why. Rent: Mark/Mimi Twilight: Jasper/Bella My Boys: PJ/Brando Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: Kimberly/Billy. Never been a Tommy fan, honestly. House: Chase/Cameron Hunger Games: Katniss/Peeta Pirates of the Caribbean: Philip/Syrena Sammy Keyes: Casey/Sammy Star Wars: Anakin/Darra (from the Jedi Quest series) The Nightmare Before Christmas: Jack/Sally Hairspray: Penny/Seaweed and Link/Tracy and Link/Lil' Inez friendship Across The Universe: Max/Prudence Chronicles of Narnia: Susan/Caspian Maximum Ride: Max/Fang School of Rock: Freddie/Katie Godchild: Cain/Meridiana Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants: Lena/Leo Cats: Mistoffelees/Victoria and Munkustrap/Demeter Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide: Moze/Loomer |
