As an avid Sonic fan, I have created several OC's for the Sonic canon.

Alexa the Huntress: A 17 year old mobian Cheetah from Queens, New York. Her real last name is DiGino. Like me, she loves Star Wars, and has a yellow bladed hardlight sword that she built herself. She is a Human-born, meaning that she is the offspring of two humans. When she was 3, her father died from cancer. When she was only 13, she trained to be a bounty hunter, and by 17, she was top of the pack. Her personality is similar to our spiky blue hero, but significantly more patient. She's also in a relationship with her fellow member of the Sonic Heroes, Rouge the Bat.

Cody the Wolf: An 18 year old gray wolf. He never knew his parents, and was supported by other street rats until age 5, when he met Ben Monomi the Echidna. The Bounty hunter took young Cody under his wing and trained him in self defense. When Cody was 13, he and Ben were sent to track down a rogue assassin and engaged him in a fierce fight. The assassin successfully defeated and killed Ben, then escaped. It is said that Alexa became a bounty hunter herself a year later because she wanted to be there for her best friend, Cody. Although he is more accustomed to unarmed combat, he is remarkably skilled with melee weapons.

Ben Monomi: He was 35 years old when he died. A purple furred Echidna. His last name, "Monomi", is the Japanese word for "Seer of Things". If you were standing in a large warehouse full of junk with him, he could tell you nearly every possible way you could use the items in the area, as well as the area itself, against him. It allowed him to adjust his own strategy to best counter it. In the end, he lost his life only because his opponent utilized unorthodox methods of combat.

Riplak the Brute: A reptile of unspecified age, though he likely is anywhere from 29 to 32 years old. His gloves contain collapsible blades that he uses in combat, and is a fierce fighter. Despite his name, he is a cold, calculating individual. He is simply called a brute because of his wild combat style. He has no friends, and little, if anything at all, is known about his early life. Those who have associated with him suspect that even he has little idea of what his early life was like.

Slash the Dark Hedgehog: An 18 year old hedgehog. He is the son of Mephiles the Dark, though the circumstances of his birth are strange. Mephiles apparently survived the time paradox of Sonic 06, and was sent to a new dimension. Initially seeking revenge against Sonic and Co., he created a life form who would be considered his son, to help him achieve his goals. However, Lumina the Bright, another of my OC's, intervened, and imbued some of her power into the developing hedgehog, which helped give him a strong "light side" affinity. Slash nonetheless sought to bring about Sonic's demise, but quickly came to respect Sonic and his friends. Eventually, Slash even goes on to repent and become one of Sonic's friends.

Calypso the Stoat: A 17 year old Stoat. She is a sorceress, though the specifics of her abilities are uncertain. Some of her innate powers include becoming invisible, levitating, and surrounding herself and her allies in a protective shield. She also has access to a wide variety of potions and spells, which she is constantly practicing on while in her home. She is considered an anti-hero, having aided Slash during his initial campaign against Sonic, but also being willing to help Sonic and his friends.

Lumina the Bright: A somewhat goddess-like being. She is like the embodiment of light, and as mentioned before, is responsible for Slash's light side, which eventually leads him to befriend Sonic. She also granted him some of her own abilities, such as her lightning powers, only hers are golden, while Slash's lightning is dark purple or black. Lumina also helps Mephiles in his path to redemption, and though he is still somewhat of a brooding entity, Mephiles admits that he too has come to cast aside his animosity towards Sonic.

Kuron Vos: The son of Quinlan Vos and Asajj Ventress, born in 19 BBY. Although Force-Sensitive and skilled with a lightsaber, his preferred weapons of choice are a pair of shotguns he designed himself. As the son of a Jedi and a Nightsister, he has unique abilities in the Force, such as the ability to float, disappear into a green mist that only Force Sensitives can see, and produce lifelike illusions of himself. In a relationship with Shisuta Joli.

Shisuta Joli: Daughter of Aayla Secura, born in 18 BBY. She is a Jedi who trains under Barriss Offee. She is talented in her healing abilities, and by the time she meets the Ghost Crew, she has the ability to even restore damaged organs and repair lost limbs, though such significant feats often require her to receive help from her master. In a relationship with Kuron Vos.

Eris Colack: Jedi Knight born in 24 BBY. Was brought to the Jedi Temple as an infant by Anakin Skywalker. When the Empire rose, and Anakin laid waste to the Temple, he spared her and inducted her into the Inquisitorius, as the Fourth Sister. During the Rebellion, she fought against Mina Bonteri, the daughter of Lux Bonteri and Ahsoka Tano, and was given a chance to be redeemed. She was made the Padawan of the redeemed Anakin Skywalker, and has a crush on Luke.

Myrcella Chansu Skywalker: A young child born around 2 BBY. Originally, she was found by the Fourth Sister. In the same incindent in which the Fourth Sister was brought onto the path of redemption, Myrcella was adopted by Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala-Skywalker, the latter having survived the birth of the Skywalker twins. Her nickname, quite appropriately, is "Mercy".

Nazo Malfoy: A Jedi who was born close to 42 BBY. His origins are unknown, and although brought into the Order since a young age, he retains some darker qualities. For a long time, he holds a grudge against his fellow Jedi, Anakin Skywalker, up until shortly after the departure of Ahsoka Tano from the Jedi Order. Nazo is also known for having been the youngest Jedi to be knighted in the history of the order, at a mere 12 years old. With the rise of the Empire, he becomes the Stalker.

The Stalker: A mysterious Dark Sider who was formerly the Jedi Knight Nazo Malfoy. During the age of the Empire, he serves as a hunter and conqueror. With Anakin Skywalker's redemption, Stalker was made the new Second-in-command by the Emperor. However, Stalker was secretly working with Maul to undermine the Empire so that they could take over. His ultimate goal, however, remains obscure.

Rayna Drake: A senior student at Beacon and leader of Team RCGL, she is 20 years old. She is a dragon faunus with a pair of dragon's wings. As a dragon faunus, she has a natural immunity to all types of fire, and a higher than average resistance to other elemental attacks. Her weapons are a pair of clawed gauntlets and taloned boots that she can summon at will. Her semblance, "Replenish", enables her to power through other hunters' auras more easily to replenish her own. She is inspired by the concept of the western dragon, as well as Rogue class characters from fantasy RPGs. Color theme: Purple.

Cian Merlin: A Senior student of Beacon and member of Team RCGL, he is 20 years old. His weapon is the Astral Crest, a short sword with a pommel that can open up and accommodate different types of Dust for different effects. His semblance, "Visionary", allows him to predict what is immediately about to happen via precognition, similar to Shulk in Xenoblade. It is passive in nature, and does not require aura to use unless he actively tries to see into the immediate future. Loosely inspired by Cu Chulainn, as well as Knight class characters in fantasy RPGs. Color theme: Cyan.

Gilderoy Althris: A senior student of Beacon and member of Team RCGL, he is 20 years old. He is a human male whose family originally came from Atlas, but he was born in Vale. His weapons are the Caestus Aurum, a pair of metal gloves with oversized cuffs. They accommodate Fire, Wind, and Lightning Dust, in addition to amplifying his physical strength. They project concentrated blasts of wind out of the palms, like Ironman. They can also shoot lighting from the fingertips and bursts of flame from the wrists. His semblance, "Golden Touch," allows him to freeze people and objects in the vicinity in place, although trying to use it against more than ten things at a time, or something particularly big, will put a strain on him. He is inspired by King Midas, and his semblance and weapon are a reflection of Midas' touch, as well as Tank-type characters in fantasy RPGs. Color Theme: Gold.

Lucius Feroh: The final member of Team RCGL, he is 20 years old. His weapon is a bident called Tartarus. The length of the weapon can also be adjusted for fighting in tight spaces efficiently. It contains fire, ice, wind, and lightning Dust and can also be revved up. His semblance, "Spell Cast", allows him to copy the semblances of other huntsmen and huntresses by making physical contact with them, such as touching their shoulder or grabbing their leg. He also wears a cape lined with Gravity Dust, allowing him to levitate. His aura is also not boosted by the number of semblances he can copy. Inspired by Lucifer, as well as the mage class characters of fantasy RPGs. Color Theme: Lust (Red).

Team BZRK ("berserk"):

Bruno Wilsh: Leader of Team BZRK, and 20 years old. His weapon is a dust jacket, which allows him to used different types of dust for different types of attacks. His semblance "Proxy", allows him to summon up to four ethereal arms to use in combat. He is capable of forming more than four arms, but the more he summons, the more strain it puts on him. He can combine different types of dust with his arms for extra inspired by the Blair Witch. Color Theme: Brown.

Zhu Bajie: A member of Team BZRK, and 20 years old. He is a boar faunus, with short tusks protruding from his lower jaw. His weapon consists of Jiu Chi, a nine-toothed hook and chain, and Dingba, a double barreled impact shotgun. His semblance, "Vanguard", allows him to throw his Aura out in front of him as an impenetrable shield, to protect himself and his allies. Inspired by the character of the same name from the folk tale "Journey to the West," with his weapons being an homage to both Jiu Chi Dingba, the nine toothed rake used by his name sake, and the weapon loadout of Roadhog from Overwatch. He is characterized as being polite, soft spoken, and loyal to his friends, but also a bit of a klutz and a glutton, and he also has terrible luck impressing women. In fact, the only women he believes have any liking for him are Russet and Kassidy, who both see him as family. Color Theme: Beige.

Russet Clay: A member of Team BZRK, and 20 years old. She is a cat faunus whose trait is her ears, which are bright orange. Her weapon is Trickster's Delight, a short sword with a blade that can split open to become a blaster. Her semblance "Sidestep" allows her to teleport short distances. Inspired by Puss in Boots. Color Theme: Russet (Brown).

Kassidy Talon: Member of Team BZRK, and 20 years old. Her weapon is Starbreaker, a lever-action rifle with a retractable taser knife attachment. Her semblance, "Bullseye", allows her to temporarily have perfect accuracy. The drawback is that the longer she needs to use the semblance, the less effective it becomes, though it resets after her Aura breaks or if she gives it time to recover. Alludes to Butch Cassidy. Color theme: Khaki (Brown).

Other:

Alexander Stone: A lone huntsman, he is roughly 40 years old, though he could pass for being in his late twenties. He is a cyborg who was part of an Atlesian experiment, but disappeared some time after receiving his enhancements. The idea was to allow huntsman to fight at full strength even when their Aura broke. His weapon is called Katakto, a longsword with a black blade. His semblance is a mystery, one that his allies can only speculate the nature of, as all he says about it is that he has only been in one situation where he had need of it, suggesting that it is a devastatingly powerful semblance. Inspired by King Arthur, with his namesake being Alexander the Great. Color theme: Stone (Gray).

Jack Leguma: A young man from Mistral, he is roughly 25 years old, and has no affilation with any one huntsmen academy. His semblance, "Beast Inside," enables him to use his Aura to stimulate and become a ten foot tall giant, exponentially increasing his strength without sacrificing any of his intelligence. His weapon, a stim pistol named Sprout, is more supportive than offensive. It implements small darts that are full of a serum that can artificially replenish his Aura, even if it has broken completely. Inspired by Jack and the Beanstalk. Color theme: Green.

Rajah Tosker: A greedy squirrel faunus with a long bushy tail. His semblance, "Seeing Double," allows him to create a completely identical copy of himself that can last from a few minutes to a several hours based on how much concentration he puts into it. The replica has a fixed amount of aura and can take a few hits before disappearing. He is inspired by Ratatoskr, the squirrel of Norse Mythology. Color theme: Rajah brown.

Fenra Bane: A spiteful wolf faunus who serves as an enforcer for the White Fang. Her faunus trait is a wolf's tail. Her weapons, the Final Eclipse, are a pair of hook swords infused with fire dust. Her semblance, "Alpha's call" allows her to howl in a way that it has the ability to override the free will of faunus who hear it, with it being stronger the closer she is to the target. Inspired by Fenrir the wolf of Norse mythology. Color theme: Silver.

Audrey Althris: An independent huntress who is an alumnus of Beacon academy, she is 25 years old, and Gilderoy's older sister.

Gideon Althris: A retired Legendary Huntsman who is Gilderoy and Audrey's grandfather.

Grimm Species

Seyjers (Pronounced See-jers): A small species compared to other Grimm, rarely standing taller than the average human, but no less deadly. Native to Vale and Vacuo, their smaller size works in their favor, as they are extremely agile. What makes them especially dangerous is their tight pack mentality. In regards to the Vacuan variety, the instant one sees potential prey, it will bleat loudly and alert the rest of its pack. They will then hustle to their comrade's location even if the scout is subsequently killed. The Valean breed are more solitary, but their blood curdling screeches will still alert stronger Grimm. The only way to kill them permanently is to sever or crush the skull like head. They are bipedal, with goat like heads and vestigial wings, three-clawed hands and cloven-hoofed feet. Alpha Seyjers are twice the size of their lackeys, and have the ability to spawn new creatures if previous ones are destroyed. Inspired by the Jersey Devil. They are located in Vacuo, where their ghastly screams can carry for miles.

Bloodfeeders: Humanoid grimm with large ears, demon like faces, and sharp claws. They are remarkably intelligent, to the point where even young individuals will exercise caution against hunters. Their heightened intelligence is coutner ballanced by the fact that they can be harmed by sunlight. As a result, they only attack at night. It is believed that only one pack exists, and that it resides in Vale. The alpha Bloodfeeder is supposedly smart enough and old enough to be mistaken for a sentient humanoid. Based on Vampires.

Tyrannox: A massive theropod grimm, characterized by its ferocity. Based on large theropod dinosaurs such as T. Rex and Giganotosaurus.

The Hydra: A powerful Grimm known only by wall paintings and legends. Said to be even larger and older than any other known Grimm. Commonly depicted as a massive three-headed dragon with four legs. Only one is said to exist, and even then, it is dismissed as a rumor.

Sonic x Shadow: Y'all are crazy for thinking this could be a thing.

Rey x Kylo: I don't think I need to explain how utterly wrong this "Ship" is. The fact that so many people on this site feel the need to include it in any story featuring these two characters, despite how messed up this ship is, is a huge concern to me.

Theories I support:

Anna and Elsa are Rapunzel's Cousins: Okay, so this theory goes around the idea that Anna and Elsa's father is related to Rapunzel's mother. A bit of evidence supporting this theory aside from physical similarities is the idea that the Frozen sister's parents were leaving to attend Rapunzel's wedding when their ship went down. Also, Rapunzel and Eugene are seen attending Elsa's coronation, which takes place 3 years after the events of Tangled.

Sans and Papyrus are Gaster's children: At this point in time, it has become widely accepted that the mystery man encountered in a secret room in Waterfall is in fact W.D. Gaster. Sans and Papyrus' names are based on fonts. The same applies to Wing Ding Gaster. Because Sans and Papyrus are both skeleton monsters, it is logical to believe that the same can be said of Gaster.

Theories I do not support:

Tarzan is related to Anna and Elsa: Okay, I don't care what the creators of Frozen say. There is too much against the idea that Tarzan has any connection to Frozen. Tarzan at the time of the movie is around 30 years old. Assuming that the TV series that came out following the movie is canon to the movie itself, this places it at around the 1900's, specifically, 1901 to 1909, as that was when Theodore Roosevelt, who was featured in said show, was President of the U.S. So, that means that Tarzan would have to have been born anywhere from 1871 to 1879, which is a good thirty years after the events of Frozen are set. We don't know exactly how old Anna and Elsa's parents are when their ship sinks. But we can assume that even if they somehow survived, they'd be too old to be able to even have children thirty years later. So at best, Tarzan is their adopted child. Again, that's assuming that the parents even survived the original shipwreck on their way to Corona.

The PIXAR Theory: Why does this exist exactly? The fact that the theory continues to remain relevant, annoys me. Not to mention the fact that the creators seem obligated to keep adding easter eggs that fuel the lame theory.

Nitpicks on this site.

People who use asterisks to blot out curse words: If you don't have the stones to write out the actual word, use a substitute word (I.E, crud, frick, etc.) Just using asterisks is absolutely annoying.

People who write reviews that have nothing to do with the story they're reviewing: I've had this happen to me a few times recently. Someone posted a few reviews on one of my stories that had nothing to do with the chapter the review was left on (in my case it was random bits of movie dialogue). I've seen other instances where it was someone being a pain by writing junk about religion, which has exactly zero place on a website like this.

People who consistently write "thru" instead of "through": I freaking hate when people do this. Thru is used for writing "Drive-thru", Through is used ABSOLUTELY EVERYWHERE ELSE!

Critics United: What a bunch of frauds. I'll be reading a well written story when I see a review from someone that says something to the effect of "remove such and such from your story or your story will be deleted." What these so called "Critics" fail to acknowledge is that in 99% of the cases, there's nothing in said story to worry about. If it were rehashing the property the story is about with absolutely no changes, additions, deviations or the like made, then there could be a problem. But having the characters react to their own media and commenting on them is an example of Satire, which is in no way an issue.

The Font glitch: This is an issue I have more with the site itself than the authors. Every now and then I'll be reading a story and then the chapter I click on will be a wall of coded text. I can't be the only one to notice this, so the fact that it keeps happening tells me that the admins don't acknowledge it as much as they should.

Trash fics: Okay, this is admittedly a vague thing to talk about, but recently I've been seeing a lot more stories pop up that from the title, summary, and any existing comments posted look like absolute garbage. Either because they are intentionally offensive, horribly written, obscenely riddled with spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes, just plain weird, or a combination of the above crimes. Most of the time, the author writing such trash has a habit of writing stories that fit this category, so at least I know to avoid a story when I see that it's written by an author who's infamous for writing bad stories.

Ads: Normally, I don't mind the presence of advertisements on this website. What I have a problem with regarding them is when I want to not see a specific ad, and then a few clicks later, I see it again. What part of "I don't want to see this particular ad while browsing the site" is so hard to understand? And now, on top of that, I'm finding these ads smacked into the middle of the fics I'm reading. And on top of that, when I try to report the ad so that it stops blocking the text, the space where the ad doesn't go away, and refreshing the page only puts another ad in its place. To the admins of this site, if you have any control of the ads that show oup on this site, PLEASE do something to remedy this issue. It would be preferable if the ads on the site were restricted to the top of the page, or the side of the page when browsing through the categories.
