![]() Author has written 1 story for Pokémon. Hello and welcome to my page. You can call me M2. If you'd like a very rough example of what's to come here, then please, by all means read this: The very foundations of the sprawling metropolis of Saffron City seemed to tremble from the force with which the two Psychic powerhouses attacked one another; their fists flying with barely matched speed and strength as they duelled amongst the towering skyscrapers of Saffron City, trading psychically empowered blows that could derail entire trains with only a minimal amount of effort. The people and Pokemon of the great metropolis watched fearfully from below as the titanic battle unfolded before them, gazing up at the two combatants in a mixture of slack-jawed awe and primordial terror. The battle was titanic; punches were blocked, kicks were deflected, and even headbutts were evaded or countered in some form or another. It was painfully obvious that neither Mewtwo nor Deoxys intended to let up on the pressure anytime soon, the DNA Pokemon had no intention of leaving his long awaited battle with the elusive Feline Psychic unfinished this time, their respective blue and red psychic energy flaring wildly around them as they collided in a colossal explosion of intermingled red and blue light. The windows of the nearby towers soon began to crack and shatter as the battle escalated, Deoxys having flickered out of sight with the use of his ‘Teleport’ technique for a moment before reappearing upon the roof of a nearby tower block and shape-shifting into his ‘Attack Form’, his body becoming angular and a great deal more streamlined as his DNA patterned arms split into four tentacle-like whips with exceptionally sharp ends. However, Deoxys golden eyes suddenly widened as a ‘Shadowball’ streaked through the air towards him, forcing him to leap skywards or risk being caught up in the resulting explosion of the dark-energy sphere’s collision with the roof of the tower of which he stood not a moment ago. Deoxys frantically glanced around himself as he lost sight of the powerful Psychic Feline in the aftermath of the explosion, not to mention the resulting clouds of thick black smoke. His unspoken question was answered in a slightly different way than he’d hoped however, as he glanced up, only to be greeted by the sight of Mewtwo’s incoming fist right before it remodeled the shape of Deoxys’ face, catching the powerful red and blue psychic Pokemon off-guard and sending him spiralling through the air below. Mewtwo grimaced as he watched Deoxys slam straight through the still smoking roof of the skyscraper his ‘Shadowball’ had struck moments earlier, causing the building to tremble as it’s foundations were pushed to their very limits. ‘This is getting far too dangerous,’ Mewtwo thought with a sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach. ‘Someone’s going to get hurt if we keep fighting here, I’ve got to lure him out of the city!’ Of course, such a thing was more easily said than done... A split second after Mewtwo had drawn this conclusion and started formulating a new strategy, Deoxys materialized before Mewtwo in his ‘Speed Form’, where he quickly utilized his new-found speed to surprise the preoccupied Psychic Cat with a ‘Hyper Beam’ attack at point blank range. Whilst the normally potentially devastating energy beam lacked any real sort of force behind it, due to the massive offensive penalty Deoxys’ current form inflicted upon him, it was still, nonetheless, a shock for Mewtwo as the rainbow coloured energy hit him dead on, hurling him towards the unforgiving ground far below like a Pidgey caught in a crosswind. He landed heavily upon the roof of a large and expensive looking silver Bentley, a combination of the large Feline’s considerable weight and his initial velocity crushing the formerly priceless classic motorcar beyond recognition as the horrified owner, and the rest of the two Psychic’s immense audience looked on in astonishment. Mewtwo, miraculously unharmed from the unexpected attack and the resulting planetary impact, wrenched himself free of the wreckage with a snarl, prompting several of the nearer Humans, and a few Pokemon to boot, to run in terror as his wickedly sharp fangs flashed dangerously in the bright sunshine, glaring furiously up at a now visibly panting, but smug looking Deoxys. Now Mewtwo was pissed. With a dark growl, Mewtwo brought his large paws behind him as he focused his psychic energy into raw power, forgoing any kind of technique or attack entirely as he let the energy build into a pulsating blue sphere about the size of a football between his outstretched paws, enjoying the apprehensive look that suddenly flitted over Deoxys’ face as realization dawned upon him. Mewtwo knew full well that using ‘Hyper Beam’ came with a hefty price; while it allowed anyone who knew the technique to unleash an immensely powerful energy beam almost immediately, the user’s energy reserves were just about completely drained the moment after using it, so much so that the person could, albeit momentarily, barely move, let alone fight back. This made ‘Hyper Beam’ an ideal finishing blow, or last resort, but a potentially fatal move in a battle of attrition... Much like this one. The amassed psychic energy crackled viciously between Mewtwo’s paws as it more than doubled in size, an unmistakably dark smirk playing along the corners of the Feline’s lips as Deoxys’ eyes followed suit, widening to an almost comical degree as the momentarily weakened Psychic sensed just how much energy Mewtwo was putting behind the attack. Panic seized the DNA Pokemon as he began to feebly thrash from side to side, his body sluggishly responding as Deoxys’ desperately tried to overcome his sudden weakness and move, tried to shift into his more durable ‘Defense’ form, tried to do anything but float helplessly in the sky in this, his most vulnerable form, with Mewtwo preparing an attack that felt like it could wipe out half the Region! And that's the end of that. For the moment anyway. This story was oringinally a roleplay idea that I was working on before I was told that I should try writing fanfiction by a few friends. And so, here I am. If anyone would like to see what my OC, Laura the Lopunny, looks like, then copy and paste the following link. This picture was what inspired me to create Laura in the first place. http:///i101lopunny1d.jpg I'm going put up a particular pet hate here because I've nowhere else to. I've read MANY stories about Mewtwo; some are good, some are bad, some are superb, and some are just plain wrong. However, most all have one MASSIVE problem that infuriates me no end; they seriously underpower the guy. Alot of the time they underpower the 'legendaries' as well, if you see me making that mistake, PLEASE call me on it. |
