Armin Arlert

Now let me tell you something about this character. he is one of the strongest most well rounded characters i have seen. Witnessing his growth through the manga and most recently through the anime has been an honor. I notice that he receives alot of hate and crap from some portion of the fandom for his weakness. and the fact that happens shows a lack of appreciation for intelligence by many individuals. because his many contributions to humanity has been less flashy and not mostly about killing titans with his sword, Armin has been labeled many negative things. If you go back and rewatch the show, you will realize that at episode five, he froze as he saw his friends get eaten by titans, now in the most recent episode he was charging with no hesitation towards arguably the most dangerous titan they have faced yet. For me Armin Arlert is a person that stands out amongst a strong cast of characters, who are deeply troubled and flawed human beings. Eren, willing to murder people at 9, driven by revenge, often times filled with anger and rage. Mikasa, a young girl traumatized by the loss of her family, rescued by a young man, developed an almost obsessive urge to protect her loved ones due to her past experiences. driven by a philosophy of strength equating to life. and weakness to death. These are some great characters, but even so. Armin is the one i feel is most special, his strengths go unnoticed and his weaknesses are often put on the spotlight. but Armin Arlert is still here and is still fighting despite it all!

November 17, 2014: I know many of you have not heard from me in a long time, but i want to make everything clear as to what has been going on. As some of you may have noticed my updates have all but stopped for my stories and im going to explain why. I dont intend to make any excuses for myself since even before certain things happened my updates had always been sporadic. Well on to business, the fact is that the past few months i have been suffering from a condition with the bones and nerves in my hands and fingers. to explain things further when i was a child i lived on the island of Haiti ( look it up lol ), There was an incident there which involved a metal well slamming into both my hands and nearly tearing them both apart. This occured more then a decade ago and at the time i had never received proper treatment for my injuries due to the lack of accessible doctors or hospitals where i lived. Of course when i came to america at about the age of twelve i received treatment for it. but by then the damage had been done.

Long story short,

My hands are giving out on me.

Some of my fingers tighten up at the oddest time, i once woke up unable to feel my left hand and only feeling blinding pain in my right. for the past few months I've had to take a short leave from school and even work due to me being unable to be remotely useful in any sort of way. I am currently being treated and helped but in the hectic mess of all these things i completely forgot to address my readers. now im sending this message to everyone to know that I have been given the okay to write a little more and do a few more things with my hands.

I want to thank everyone for their kind reviews of my stories, and i would for them to know that i haven't abandoned them.

Hopefully i get better, only time will tell.
