![]() Author has written 1 story for Merlin. If you can't guess from my name, I'm really into the TV show Merlin by BBC. Colin and Bradley were great actors! In all honesty, I'm sad to see it go, but the story really was finished. I would love to see a 'Arthur Returns' season as well, but who doesn't? My biggest pet peeve with Merlin, is that when Merlin arrives, Arthur seemed to need saving from some magical threat at least once a week. So my question is, how is Arthur still alive after having to wait 20 odd years for Merlin to show up? It's not like the knights or his father were doing such a great job protecting him. What on earth was he still alive after 20 years of horrible protection? I makes NO sense. (I solved this particular pet peeve of mine in my story Arthur's Secret. Go check it out) I'm also really into the Hunger Games. I'm sure I'm not the only one who hears at least once a week 'I volunteer as tribute'. The finale though. I knew what was going to happen having read Mockingly seven times, (I'm not kidding, I counted), before seeing the movie, but when Katniss is talking to her daughter and watching Peeta, omg, I can't even! The Harry Potter series. I could literally rant for days about how stupid Snape was spying on Voldemort (yeah, I said his name, so what?), knowing he could be killed by the giant snake that he'd seen kill people before, but he doesn't even have any anti-venom on him?! HE'S A LITERALLY POTIONS MASTER FOR GODRICS'S SAKE!!! (You see what I did there? With the God and Godric...you saw it...it just wasn't funny...yeah that happens sometimes) Favourite Quotes "You are but one side a coin. Arthur is the other" -Kilgharrah "Destinies are troublesome things. You feel trapped, like your whole life is planned out for you and you've got no control over anything, and sometimes you don't even know if what destiny decided is really the best thing at all." -Merlin "Its...lonely...to...be more powerful than any man you know and have to live like a shadow. A boy that will, in time, father the legend. His name: Merlin." -Kilgharrah "There will never be another like you, Arthur." -Merlin "Nobility is defined by what you do, not by who you are." -Gwaine "If anyone wants to go kill him, they can go ahead. But why should that make it any less real?" -Dumbledore "The more brutal you are, the more enemies you'll create." -Morgana "Merin, you're a genius" -Percival "There is no right or wrong Merlin. Only what is, and what isn't." -Kilgharrah "I was having a dream about a cheese that tasted of apple pie. Anyone else have that dream? You're all missing out." -Gwaine "Sometimes I feel the weight of my destiny crushing me." -Merlin "Ability is defined by what you do, not by who you are." -Gwaine "Take heart, for when Albion's need is greatest, Arthur will rise again." -Kilgharrah "Sometimes you've got to do what you think is right, and damn the consequences." -Morgana "She is the darkness to your light. To fight with honour for justice, freedom and all that's good." -Lancelot "O dragon, e male so ftengometta tesd'hup'anankes!" -Merlin "She's a maiden in a tower, a damsel in distress. I was born for this moment." -Gwaine "Bradley says that any comparison between him and Colin will always make him look worse, since Colin would 'make Mother Theresa look like the product of the devil'" -Paraphrased quote from a conference call "Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and this who matter don't mind." -Dr. Seuss "Left is right and right is left, and the way behind is the way ahead." -Queen Mab "I want to say...something I've never...said to you before...thank you." -Arthur "I am who I am, I am who I was and I am who I will always be" -Merlin (from Triquetra123) "I'm happy to be your servant till the day I die." -Merlin (from Lya200) "Hold me" -Arthur (from Ladyliz2) "Are you calling me fat?" "No, the belt is just one hole shy of perfection." -Arthur, Merlin (from Guest) "You can't threaten me Merlin, I'm the King" "What about threatening an ass!?" -Arthur, Merlin (from NerdGirlAlert) Favourite Merlin Characters and Why Gwaine -Me Gwaine -morningstar115 Queen Annis -Guest Merlin -Juliana Brandagamba Merlin -Ladyliz2 Arthur -AMJJ Arthur -Guest Gwaine -NerdGirlAlert Favourite Merlin Spell Ástrice because I really wish I could use it on teachers and people that annoy me -Me The one Merlin uses to make the orb of light in The Poisoned Chalice. -Lya200 The one where Merlin tries to make strawberries for Freya. -rmatri540 Forbaernan, or the fire spell. -NerdGirlAlert The spell Merlin used to turn Arthur into a simpleton. -Juliana Brandagamba "Gewyrcan lif" where Merlin created a butterfly and "Upastige draca!" where Merlin created the dragon in the flames. -TheDarkestDreams I'm rather partial to the spell Forbearnan that starts fires -morningstar115 Favourite Merlin Episode I really like the season two finale with the dragonlord buisness and then the one with the immortal army and the cup of life. -Ladyliz2 It would probably be 3x13 The Coming of Arthur Part 2 -morningstar115 Perhaps The Coming of Arthur episodes? Or The Poisoned Chalice. Or The Sword in the Stone. Or The Once and Future Queen. -Lya200 Goblin's Gold because it made me laugh so much -Guest Season 2, ep 13: The Last Dragonlord. I've always loved it because Merlin finally got to know his father, and because him and Kilgharra finally reached sort of an understanding. That, and it's one of those times when Leon dies, but is seen the very next episode. -NerdGirlAlert Castle of Fyrian. Each of the main characters had equal time to show the actors' skills. -Guest I loved Eye of the Phoenix, and The Poisoned Chalice, and pretty much all of them to be honest. -Juliana Brandagamba "A Servant of Two Masters." Merlin failing at being an assassin never fails to amuse me. -fastreader12 The last Dragonlord -madnessdownunder2 Favourite Villain/Bad Guy in Merlin Morgana but Nimueh was great too. -Me Aredian the Witchfinder. The actor is famous on the stage and portrayed him as a multi-layered character, intimidating, evil and with a bit of humour. -NC Morgana or Nimueh. Morgana has always been somewhat of a favorite of mine even after she turned evil, and Nimueh is just awesome. -Lya200 Morgana or Sophia and Aulfric from "The Gates of Avalon". -morningstar115 Morgana is by far the best villain. Hands down. :) -Juliana Brandagamba I gotta say Nimueh -fastreader12 Favourite dragon in Merlin (so Kilgharrah or Aithusa) I like Kilgharrah because he has great character development, though Aithusa was so cute. But then Season 5 happened, so Kilgharrah wins because cuteness only gets you so far. -Me Aithusa's the best dragon -Lya200 Kilgharrah is an arrogant riddle-maker, but I like him more than Aithusa, mostly because he's better developed. -morningstar115 I love Aithusa, but I also love John Hurt as Kilgharrah -fastreader12 Kilgharrah is a more exciting character, but Aithusa is adorable. -Juliana Brandagamba I definitely prefer Kilgharrah over Aithusa...I love Kilgharrah's riddles and cryptic ways. It's always fun to see Merlin frustrated by him -NC Kilgharrah, he, being the great dragon was really helpful to Merlin, nor to mention, that he let Merlin ride him -fallenangelsofolympus Harry Potter Remembrance In Remembrance of Severus Snape In Remeberance of Lily Potter In Remembrance of Fred Weasley In Remenberance of Cedric Diggory In Rememberance of Sirius Black In Remembrance of Dobby In Remembrance to Remus J.
