Arabian Nights

AU. When Arabian prince Luffy D. Monkey ran away from palace traditions to escape to life on the seas, he had no idea that getting to the seas in the first place would be such a hassle! After being kidnapped by the rebel army and sent to find a dusty old lamp in exchange for a ship, Luffy is betrayed by head rebel Arlong and trapped in the cave with the grumpy-ass genie, Roronoa Zoro! Together the two take the adventure of crossing the desert towards freedom, meeting bandit Usopp, ultimate cuisine chef Sanji, and rebel spy Nami! But Arlong is not the kind of person who would let the green-haired key to overrunning the sultan escape so easily, and he has a whole group of his own... varied rebels. Inspired by the Disney movie, Aladdin. And then unraveled and screwed ten times over. And no romance in it at all.

Status: In progress. A little more than half way over, maybe? Side project.

Tides

AU. Mermen. Zoans. Fishmen. Order of superiority? Zoan, fishmen, mermen. In a modern world with the merpeople at the bottom of the chain and the zoans at the top (and the fishmen somewhere in the middle), a lone mermen with the unique ability of crossing species named Luffy escapes his aquarium with the help of his caretaker, a silly little zoan named Chopper. Together the two search for a legendary utopia where all three species can live together in harmony, or perhaps even bring such a place to the entire world. But when a certain fishman group decides they need to change the tides on the order of the world, it'll take a lot more than some varied nakama and their big dream to change the ways of a corrupt world... Featuring zoans, merpeople, and fishpeople, and a bit of species change when it comes to Luffy's nakama. Only has East Blue characters along with Chopper. No romance.

Status: In planning. Very much subject to changes, and even subject to never being written. We'll see.

The Last Airbender

AU. Monkey D. Luffy was a seven year old airbending boy when the Fire Nation attacked. Being the sole survivor of the Southern Temple, Luffy is taken in by kind colonials that decide to hide the boy from Fire Lord Akainu. But when at the age of seventeen he takes a detour to the South Pole, ultimately exposing his existence as the last of his kind to the world, things have gotten a whole lot more exciting for the last airbender... Obviously based on Avatar: The Last Airbender world with a twist: NO AVATAR. Just normal benders, if anything. Meh. Includes all characters. No romance.

Status: Likely to never be written. But still kind of an interesting idea, neh?

Rogue/Enigma/Villainous

AU. Straw Hat Luffy was only one of the hundreds of super villains running around in the 22nd century. But not necessarily the greatest. This he plans to change with his own team of mercenaries, villains, and... heroes? Well, what does he plan to do with such a varied group of nakama? World Domination, obviously. Violence. Language. No pairings. Includes all Straw Hats. Booyah.

Status: Another niggling idea. But rather catchy, neh? Title still in the works.

Horizons

Monkey D. Luffy is the Pirate King. Roronoa Zoro is the World's Greatest Swordsman. Nico Robin has found the Rio Poneglyph, etc. The crew has accomplished their dreams, and a week after Raftel they sail to the East Blue. Sengoku knows he's lost, but he's got one last ace up his sleeve. He has a plan, and it goes far beyond the boundaries of even Nami's world map, reaching all the way and pulling back Lin, a girl from our own world who only happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Now in the midst of her favorite manga, Lin has no clue on what to do when offered a place in the Pirate King's crew. Nothing left to do, really, except find her way over the horizon to either home, the Grand Line, or a whole new adventure of 'other worldly' proportions... Language. No romance. Post Raftel. Oh Lordy.

Status: In progress. Main project at the moment. Pretty much halfway over.

Black and White

Sequel to Horizons. Picking up right as the crew re-enters the Grand Line, when something is starting to go wrong with the World Government's plans, with terrible consequences around the entire world. Lin never was one to give up, despite a certain organization's protocols, and may have just found the key to returning home! But time is running out when they start to catch on, along with some returning foes... And sides are becoming black and white, with very little room for those bothersome shades of gray. Planned with twice as many adventures as Horizons. Language. No romance.

Status: Not yet started. But pretty much entirely planned out. Title might be subject to change, but I really do like it at the moment.

Fall

Sequel to Black and White. "Don't tell me there's no hope at all. Together we stand - divided we fall." I'd put up a real summary, but frankly that would be a major spoiler for the end of Black and White. :X This is just a teaser.

Status: Not yet started. Actually stored away and still in the final stage of planning, but the concept is completely worked out. It's just those details... And the fact that I may not get to this for a long, long time. I have two stories to write before it, you know! ... Title very much subject to change.

Danny Phantom (but hard pressed to do because of recent obsession with One Piece):

Baby of Mine

A short songfic I made years ago. Just a simple thing of Maddie looking in on an interesting scene with her son, and a parallel scene a week later with the illusive Phantom...

Gone

He returned to find it gone, his very existence no more than a puppet for the Ultimate Evil. And his strings would be set ablaze, with nothing but him to watch the dancing embers burn the rest of the world to a crisp... Just a oneshot I posted for Angst day. It doesn't even make sense to me now...

Status: Complete. I think I need to lay off the angst forever.

Ghost of My Son

No mother, much less a ghost hunter, wants to see what Maddie saw that day... the ghost of her only son. Sort of a 'what if' take on the events of Phantom Planet, when Danny's parents didn't vanish right after Vlad left into space for good. Oneshot.

Fenton Files: The Search

Post Phantom Planet. Danny's new life is going as he always dreamed... until his family goes missing. With nothing but a note to go by, Danny must go incognito in order to find them again. Maybe with the help of the famous Kim Possible? Meanwhile, a lone figure crashes back to earth... Crossover with Kim Possible. Obviously.

Origin

How does simply electricity mutate DNA? It doesn't. How did... or didn't Danny die that day? What really happened in the moment after he first walked in that portal? Of course, you can't make a tear in dimensions so simply... it opens by itself. All it takes is death for bait...

HOLY FREAKIN CRAP. I updated my profile to include a bunch of stuff, and the stupid computer randomly said 'This tab was experiencing a slow connection, so we FREAKIN DELETED IT AND PUT IT BACK.' NOW I HAVE TO RETYPE WHAT I WAS SAYING! SHEEEEEEESH!!

Anyway! Origin is on hiatus! Officially! I try to type anything Danny Phantom, and the result is like this chaos:

Danny ends up with a weird retarded blend of Luffy and Chopper from One Piece.

Sam turns into some weird emo combination of Nami and Robin from One Piece. With a touch of Zoro's masochism.

Tucker turns into a wimpy little combo of Usopp and Sanji, with some of the pervertedness and absolute retardation of Franky.

Then poor Jack is a freakin Brooke, and he's still alive! (SKULL JOKE!)

Maddie... I don't even want to go there. Some absolutely sick mix of Camie and Chopper. Ew.

Danny Phantom fans who haven't read One Piece may not understand this, but I can only say that it was a pure abomination. I did try though, sorry!

So, I doodled a picture of Chopper and Pika from my story Horizons. I edited it with GIMP and stuck it as my avatar; making it one of the few pictures that I doodle and are proud of. :D I can't draw people to save my life, but a reindeer and a pikachu aren't too hard.

April 28:

Yesterday was my birthday... And I posted a chapter of Horizons... So I'm 17 now, and that's... pretty much... it.

That was boring. Oh yeah! And I've got an absolutely nagging plot-bunny that WILL NOT GO AWAY. I absolutely REFUSE to type it, so maybe if I get it out here, it'll be someone else's problem! :D

... At least, that was what I told myself. And then I typed it all and I realized that I really, really wanted to do it. BADLY. So I took it down because it was the outline for the whole thing. But then I wouldn't have time for my weekly update on Horizons... But I wanna do them boooooth~!!

Oh man, I could just tell my weekly update policy to just go screw itself and take up both stories... But I barely have enough time for Horizons with my school work!

Yeah, so guess what? I lied yesterday. I just posted the new story 'Arabian Nights.' And I already finished this week's chapter of Horizons, so I'm all 'now what'...

... I should probably do my schoolwork... But I'm a procrastinator through and through! Except in writing stories, oddly enough. Why can't I do my schoolwork like I write stories?! Getting done early and even starting the next week's work... Did you know that I don't actually have any free time nowadays? This time taken, right now, is my schoolwork time. God forbid I get caught. And that I don't manage to get my research paper done... THAT I NEED TO PASS 11TH GRADE ENGLISH!!

Ha, you can kiss any more weekly updates goodbye if I can't get that done! And it's due really soon!

I will post the new chapter of Arabian Nights the second I manage to finish that paper! It's only ten pages, I tell myself. I type about thirty pages weekly for Horizons, so how bad could it be? Jack London was an interesting enough person, right...?

May 10:

So, I just came back from my camping trip. In preparation of the most painful school night ever (my ten page not finished research paper is due tomorrow) I've put one of those 'favorite pairings' sections I see all the time. And I posted a new chapter of Arabian Nights. It's amazing how much of that story is actually plotted out, just waiting to be typed up. I could even finish it this summer!

Horizons is still brewing in my head, though. So that's my top priority. But it'll be nice to actually finish a multi-chapter story for once in my life. I started Horizons knowing full well that the series will most likely never be finished until the end of One Piece (and stuff will most likely happen before then that will halt all progress on it) but I'm just enjoying it the best I can. :D

So... I'm quite bored. Updated Arabian Nights and Horizons, looked up the Black Shuck for the seventeenth time, too. Have you guys ever heard of a Black Shuck? Commonly known as a hell hound, Spectre Hound, etc. Basically, it's not a nice doggy. D: It's this fabled beast that, some folks say, when you look into its eyes you die within the year. Oo;; Or it haunts you, taking on the appearance of a headless dog, or a floating dog, but it's always a big black dog. Why am I ranting about this?

... I felt the need to tell you guys about the Black Shuck. :D

Or I could be planning something in one of my stories that has something to do with it. Not that it would make a very long appearance at all. I swear, it took me the longest time to find a proper demon dog to suit my need... but the Black Shuck completely fit the bill! Still ranting. Need sleep.

Meh, booored. I was reading up on the upcoming pokemon games Black and White. They seem quite exciting, and the new starters are adorable~! But I've been in a weird mood lately. I need to stop reading angst stories. They make me all morbid. o_o

So if my late chapters seem a lot darker than usual, then remind me to stop reading angst.

I mean really, because I read this oneshot about what would happen if Zoro didn't survive chapter 485 (the Kuma thing) and how Luffy would react. It made me look back at chapter 6, when Zoro agreed to join Luffy, and I realized exactly what he said.

"If you ever cause me to stray from my ambition, then you'll cut your stomach open to say you're sorry!" Zoro basically told Luffy to commit sepoku if Zoro ever lost his dream because of him. Can you imagine what Luffy would do if he found out that Zoro had almost given up his dream (and his life) for him? Yes, in the fic Luffy cries over Zoro's death, takes Zoro's sword, and stabs himself. I was very, very depressed.

... I added it to my favorites anyway. But then it made me go and look up the whole Kuma thing, then look up when all of the crewmembers were disappearing, then look up when Ace died, then look up Brooke's past, then look up Robin's past, and now I've gone and made myself freaking depressed all over again!! xC

... Eh, I'll get over it. I'm actually quite stoked to type up the next chapter of Arabian Nights~!! I'm a bit stuck on the next chapter of Horizons though, as I'm trying to not let my morbid thoughts leak into it. The last time that happened, I had Usopp and everyone sobbing like some sort of soap opera.

Again. 8C I still need to delete or rewrite that chapter... Feh. Arabian Nights it is. It's already sort of a dark setting anyway. :D

So, I just decided to add some stuff to my profile, I guess. Including the things for some upcoming stories. And I'm celebrating chapter 586 in my head, because it features more DRAGON. xDDD He's so cool. Typing up the next chapter of Horizons, but I keep getting all messed up with Yasopp. I think I'll just take out some parts of the chapter, add them somewhere else, and replace others with other parts. It should be done sometime soon, but no promises.

In other news, maybe I can try updating Origin again! Maybe... gonna try again today. P

June 2:

Well, obviously I failed in writing the next chapter of Origin. D: I kept writing it and squinting my eyes at it, trying to figure out what about it was rubbing me the wrong way... it was after I slipped and typed 'Luffy' instead of 'Danny' for a few paragraphs I realized what was wrong. ._.;;

So that was a FAIL.

But I did some more thinking on how I was doing Horizons, and today was my last day of school~! 8DDD I should be able to get up a couple more chapters soon after! And I finally got over my weird mood after camping this weekend and I should have up Arabian Nights soon. I posted the summaries for my stories, like I used to see on a bunch of other profiles, and then I put up some ideas that I want to try after Arabian Nights and Horizons. Well, I only put up one idea.

See, I was reading this AU story in the Danny Phantom category called "Waves of Blue". It's been on hiatus for a while, but I really did enjoy it. It made me think of merpeoplez. And then I thought of Luffy. Especially when I saw a documentary on ocean life, and a whale shark swam by. xD So I've got an outline for Utopia, which is not associated in any way with the Barbie movies. AT ALL. *shivers* It's pretty much another 'Luffy and crew gets together in an alternate universe' things, just like Arabian Nights. Except it's way more AU and not inspired by a Disney movie. And for NinjaFoodLover, who I promised that if I ever wrote another AU it would include Chopper, it has Chopper! :D

So Utopia will be the story of merman Luffy, a whale shark species in a somewhat modern world dominated by three species. Zoans, evolved humans that reach an animal transformation stage at the age of sixteen, are the dominants. Pretty much the humans of our world, only... not human. Then the fishmen, just like in One Piece. They just happen to be one level lower than zoans, being both able to walk among them but also quite vulnerable to slavery. And then there are the merpeople (these are based on Feri-san's merpeople, not One Piece merpeople), the lowest of the low. Merpeople are so low in the chain, that Luffy was born in an aquarium. They're also sold as slaves and pets, despite being rational creatures.

BAM, the setting. But then the conflict! O_o

Utopia is the story of Luffy, a member of this persecuted species, that has a fateful encounter with a zoan named Shanks that grants him a very unique gift. Ten years later, Luffy escapes from his aquarium with Chopper, a fifteen year old zoan just a year shy of obtaining his animal form, although born with a defect that made him born in his half-animal form. Together the two search for a legendary country where all three species live together in harmony, meeting odd nakama along the way, and maybe bringing a little of that legendary place to their own then there's a certain fishman group, composed of fishmen alone! No exception. And the leader, Arlong, wants to tilt the world and overrun the zoans, making fishmen the top species. When he hears word of a certain merman and his big dream, he sees a threat in his unique ability. Sending out a certain fishwoman spy, Arlong might just have plans for the young Luffy... Featuring merman!Luffy, (mystery species)!Zoro, (mystery species)!Nami, (mystery species)!Usopp, (mystery species)!Sanji, and zoan!Chopper (obviously), I. Have. Screwed. Sanity. DOESN'T THIS SOUND EXCITING?? I'm getting goosebumps just typing it! x333 I'll maybe start this after Arabian Nights, and set the priority accordingly with the response it would get from the readers.

Then I also put up the summary for the sequel to Horizons that I've pretty much entirely planned out. "Black and White". It's pretty catchy, eh? I know I've already gone on a whole new level with the 'post-Raftel OC' thing already, but I can guarantee that will seem quite trivial to the other stuff I have planned for the whole adventure. You know, I should probably name the series, seeing how it'll turn into a bunch of sequels and such...

... NAH. But I'll think about it later, and we'll see then.

I can't wait to get past the whole Usopp and Yasopp thing in Horizons, so I can get back to some good adventuring and plot advancements~! W00t. And I can finally get Smoker and Tashigi in there! I do love those two... well, mostly Smoker. Something about Tashigi still rubs me the wrong way. I wish I knew what... D8

I just realized how incredibly dull summer is, only a few days out of school. I make the same realization every year, and then half-way through school I'm wishing for it again. TT

Feeeh. I like Zoro. You guys must know this. He is one of my favorite characters. I have a whole list of these people. Like Zorro. With two 'R's. What's not to love about the mask and cape? xD But I try not to hate on Sanji and take sides in that whole deal. I remember seeing a lot of authors that always focus on Zoro or Sanji in their stories and the other seems like nothing more than a royal jerk. This pisses me off. Greatly. But I know I might do this unconsciously. I really hope I don't... TT3TT

Oh, I changed the name of that story I might write later. Instead of Utopia, it'll be called Tides. I like it. 8D It makes sense, no? It's a story about changing the tides on the world. With three species, two of them highly acquainted with the ocean, all trying to change the world. Or something like that. Tired. Need sleep.

I did, in fact, have pudding. And then it gave me another plot bunny, which I put here and will let it stew. Meeeh.

I call it... The Last Airbender. As the name implies, it's set in the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender. BUT, there's one catch to the world. NO AVATAR!! OH GOD LINHAE YOU'VE LOST YOUR MIND. Just an idea if Luffy was the last airbender, and met Zoro and Nami in the South Pole after being raised by firebenders in the midst of Fire Lord Akainu's (magma MURDER dude, choice completely justified) war. Zoro would be like Sokka (which is one of the few characters I love in Avatar) except he'd actually be a force to be reckoned with. The same Zoro we all know. In Sokka's place. Nami would not, in fact, be his sister. She'd be a waterbender healer, barely a fighter, Luffy found on an ice floe. Zoro wants to travel the world and improve his swordsman skills as a promise to his dead sister, and Nami's returning to the North Pole, her tribe. The last airbender finds this a perfect opportunity to see the world and find more nakama. And then the Fire Lord gets wind (pun XD) of a survivor from the Air Temple raids of not so long ago. Holy shizz, Linhae, ye hath gone mad. The story would only include East Blue characters, only go as far as the Northern Water Tribe, and include some MAJOR character and plot screw-ups.

I don't know if I'll ever write this, mind you. Same with Tides. I know I strongly hint that I most definitely will, but this thinking is LIEZ. Just making sure. :D But it's hard to get story ideas out of my head, and I've been reading a bit of Avatar: the Last Airbender stories lately... I need to put up a section about it here now. Except I only like Sokka and Iroh in the entire series. And some of Zuko. :D Aang and Katara really, really get under my skin. I was so glad for the Ember Island Players episode. Satire of my frustrations within a series is GOLD. And I know that many Zutara fans enjoyed the obviousness of its shipping within the play. Kataang makes something in my brain die, and I reject it. Canon or not. D

Nuff said. Really. I need to shut up and stop ranting.

... Except I forgot to celebrate that it's been three years this month since I've come to fanfiction.net! I'VE NOT HAD A LIFE FOR THREE YEARS. Whooo~!

You know, I don't get you guys! I get so many dang reviews for Fenton Files even today, and it only has eight chapters! Not to mention that it's OOC, it's sloppy, it's been written by two different people (you can really tell where I decided to contribute: The Bad Parts) and it's completely uncoordinated! I don't even remember having a plan on where to end it, how to solve all of those conflicts I've added in, and I DON'T EVEN REMEMBER WHO THE BAD GUY WAS. I'M DEAD SERIOUS!!

I went and reread it, trying to figure out what makes you people so dang wanting, and I don't get it! Is it because it's a crossover? I think there are a lot of Kim Possible and Danny Phantom crossovers out there, and a bunch that actually have a competent author! Is it because it's post series? Ha! You can find those everywhere in both Danny Phantom and Kim Possible! Is it because it includes Vlad and Dani? Same!!

And then I go and put in a lot of hours thinking and planning and plotting on stories like Horizons and Arabian Nights, and those get way less reviews-per-chapter! Yes, I'll admit that having a story up for two years will tend to get a lot more reviews per chapter than one barely up for a few months, regardless of obvious difference in quality... And not as many people are in the One Piece category as Danny Phantom and Kim Possible... And I did get lazy towards the end when I started letting my beta write instead of me... Especially when I was supposed to write the story myself. TT

Okay, it's all my dang fault. Happy?? I'll... go and see if I can rewrite the plot with what I've already put up on there. Maybe think of a good bad guy again, try and find a way to salvage the plot... try to remember some old DP and KP facts that have been lost in the sea of One Piece...

... Maybe.

I DON'T GET IT. I just reread Fenton Files and WHAT. JUST WHAT. It's horrible and grates against my very being that I wrote such a thing. Mind reading?? I don't even think that was relevant to any plot! Dani and her little 'badass show' with Shego? IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO ANY PLOT. I can't even remember if I had a plot in the first place now!

And to be honest, I don't think I did. I wrote it when I was what, fourteen? I didn't really believe in plots back then. TT I can't see any way to salvage what I have up, and I really don't feel up to rewriting it AGAIN. So guess what? It's going to sit there, as stated before, but not waiting for a new chapter! It's going to sit there and wait FOR A WHOLE REWRITE, AND I CAN'T EVEN THINK OF ANYTHING THAT I WAS GOING TO DO WITH IT.

So don't expect Fenton Files: The Search to be updated anytime soon. Or even rewritten anytime soon. Just... No.

June 30:

I've officially started up on Naruto. Jeez. If anything, I'm in it for Kakashi! There wasn't enough Kakashi in the manga! ... I know I'm not the only one, feh. Don't think that I like One Piece less. Far from it, in fact another plot bunny for One Piece pounced me while I was watching Teen Titans of all things! Yet another alternate universe... I seem to be incapable of much else.

I call it... Well, the best I can come up with on the fly is Rogue, but that will most likely change. It was originally going to be a futuristic setting with Luffy and co. being heroes... but after considering this I went 'No Way In Hell' and changed it to super villains. Then the idea for the plot hit me. Oh Lordy.

So it would be a story about Straw Hat Luffy, not much more than a small time villain completely incapable of even robbing the convenience store across the street without getting caught because of eating his spoils before running out the door. With nothing more than a rubber mutation and his special straw hat, Luffy is seeking what every other real super villain in the 22nd century wants: World Domination! That is, if he can even handle feeding his own appetite. Featuring mercenaries, super villains, and even the odd super hero, Straw Hat Luffy will conquer the world - and have a hell of a time doing it. And get this! It actually has the entire crew in it! Breaking the barrier, yo. Breaking the barrier.

Also, my priorities on stories has shifted from Horizons to Arabian Nights. Frankly, I'm just getting more feedback for Arabian Nights. I'm still working on Horizons, but I'm just working on Arabian Nights more. No hard feeling, yes? :D I know there isn't, because if one story is more popular than the other, then you guy'll appreciate me working harder on the best one! My logic is sound, yo.

... I'm almost tempted to type up a chapter of Tides or Rogue. I won't, but when I finish Arabian Nights I think I'll start one of those. They really seem like fun, neh? :D

July 3:

I'm actually kind of new to character bashing fics. I don't know why I needed to tell you all, I just am. But in all my reading of Naruto I have found so much character bashing (particularly of Sasuke and Kakashi) that it really makes me wonder. I mean, I've seen mild hints towards Sanji or Zoro (usually when the author prefers one to the other) but flat out bashing is actually kind of sickening. Granted, in Danny Phantom there was a hint of Dash bashing... And Usopp and Franky never were really loved...

... So I guess my previous statement was a lie. What's new to me is the fact that it's so blatant. Especially in Naruto Raised By Someone Else fics! Which, sadly, are becoming my favorite kinds. I must say, I've only found one Naruto Raised By Someone Else fic that isn't both a Sasuke and Kakashi basher, and I absolutely love it! ... Of course, if they bashed Kakashi in a fic where he himself raised Naruto, that would be pretty silly. But still. And then I found this doujinshi somewhere on deviantART about Naruto being raised by Minato and Sasuke being raised by Kakashi...

Anyway, so I'm in a bit of a block with my stories. I'm still typing them, but they keep coming out wrong! So I have to keep going back and retyping them, just because I can't keep any inspiration up.

How troublesome.

I think I can get up the next chapter of Arabian Nights pretty soon though. Or I may find the inspiration I need to finish the mostly-completed chapter of Horizons. But I'm still pretty bummed about the real lack of response to the last chapter of Horizons. I know it was unusually serious, but sheesh. You guys don't have to be bitter about it! D

I'm definitely going to type up Tides or Rogue when I'm done with Arabian Nights. Most likely... No, still can't decide. TT I may even find a more inspiring idea, but I'm pretty set on one of those two. I think I may leave it up to the readers of Arabian Nights in the final chapter. Then again, you guys could look over the summaries I've put up here and tell me in a review or PM which one you'd prefer. Heck, I may even put up a poll. If I wasn't so curious about the whole Batman/Superman and Luffy/Zoro/Sanji favoritism.

You guys need to vote more on that, yo.

... And just give me more opinions about my stories. One sentence reviews that only say that they like it are nice, but the reviews that tell me exactly what they like and how I did in other parts are the reviews I really love. SRSLY.

So I finished reading Bleach aaand... It's okay. The plot's somewhat repetitive, and there are way too many characters that I'm supposed to remember the name of (I don't even bother) and the idea of a novice defeating century-old experienced shinigami kind of rubs me the wrong way. I mean really, Ichigo cheated. That's what I like about One Piece: Luffy and everyone trained to get to their level. They got there by experience. Not by flying capes and just happening to be born to someone and all the right people helping them out... Sort of. Maybe yes on the last one. Luffy certainly counts as the 'right person' for that kind of thing. :D I still like reading the Bleach fanfiction though. I think I like the ones that have Ichigo cooperating with his inner hollow. Those are great.

Speaking of One Piece, I can't seem to write properly in Arabian Nights! There's some sort of curse on the chapter, I swear! Just typing a little is like fighting a tidal wave of WRITER'S BLOCK. I don't get it! I have the flashback halfway written, so then when I can't focus on that I try writing the Baratie part, but either way I keep typing something stupid and I go Why Am I Typing Shit and then I have to look back and realize This Is All Shit and then I have to start over! D

In other words: Writer's Block. You don't got it till you got it. And then it sticks like a burr.

Sooo, I've reached over a hundred reviews in Horizons! This is the stuff dreams are made of, people! And it's all thanks to those lovely people who reviewed~! We're almost there for Arabian Nights too, if only my... muse? Would just stop banging its head against the wall and LET ME FINISH THAT CHAPTER. Maybe it's Krieg. I think he cursed the chapter. Seriously, I'm stuck. I can't even think of what's supposed to happen next! Okay, Luffy's gotta have his fight with Krieg. Then... :X And now, Smoker's gotta have his talk with the Straw Hats. WHAT IS HE GOING TO SAY EXACTLY?! Minato's out of the hospital! How will he confront Takumi?!

So many questions, so few answers. I must ponder them all. Something I'm not looking forward to. I think I need to... read more fanfiction! Yeah. That's productive. *dodges tomatoes* Or sit and think about what's going to happen next? :D

In other words, I don't know when I can update again. I hate writer's block... But did you guys see my Naruto story? -shame- I need to stop reading other categories of fanfiction. They give me weird ideas. Carry on with your obviously-more-interesting-than-mine lives.

Because they're stuuupid. *nod* And I forgot what I was going to do with them in the first place... Even Origin! You'd think that would be pretty straight-forward, but nooo... I forgot what was going to happen! This will not happen with my other stories though! Because THEY STILL BUZZ IN MY HEAD FOR ATTENTION AND I WILL SUCCEED! *faint*

... Got another idea for Naruto. Still trying to think of a title, because I'm already messing around with a first chapter. But basically, it's an OC-insert (how original) with a girl that does what has never been done before in the Naruto timeline... NOTHING AT ALL. At least, that what she tries. Non-interference is the first rule of thumb when it comes to staying alive, after all. But even Rae didn't have the heart to leave a seven-year-old Naruto alone in the dark... even if she didn't have anything herself. A story of a girl with no skills, no desire to make a difference, and absolutely no choice in the matter.

Hm... I'll write it. But do you know what?? I don't think I'll post it! HA. At least... not until I get fairly far into it... Just so I can make sure that I won't abandon it! But still... the idea... it calls...

OKAY, SERIOUS ISSUES WITH ONE PIECE LATELY. (Spoiler alert)

I knew this would happen just like with Naruto! Dammit Oda-sensei, what the hell was that for?! Now you're going to make a One Piece Shippuuden?!?! ... But a Shanks Gaiden wouldn't be too unwelcome. :D BUT STILL. And everyone around here was saying how horrible it was, how Oda needed to get them all together soon, and how they hoped that he wouldn't make them all seperate for years to come just like Naruto! AND HE DOES IT!! Not meeting each other for two years?? ARGHHHH! IF THEY COME BACK WITH SUPER SAIYAN MODES, I WILL NEVER FORGIVE ODA!

... Well, maybe I would. If he doesn't make them as ridiculous as Sasuke. Then again, where Kishimoto failed in his Shippuuden Oda may succeed! Who knows? This two year absence may be... good...?

... NO. THIS WILL TAKE MUCH RETRIBUTION ODA, AND I HOPE THAT THIS DOESN'T BOMB LIKE NARUTO. SERIOUSLY. Frustrations aside, I am so not incorporating these developments into Horizons. There will be an AU in Horizons that they simply all got together like they were about to do before noticing the tattoo in the newspaper, then move on into the New World with little changed. Well, and I have them all knowing Haki, but still. NO SUPER SAIYAN MODES. Just their usual attacks. :D Aaannnd... I may have had something interesting planned in the third story. But that's not for a while, so it's all kay.

Okay, I know I haven't been here for a long time. I haven't been reviewing the stories I normally do, I haven't been updating my own, anything. I sincerely apologize, but I've just been too busy lately. I don't know when my school work's gonna settle down enough for me to get back on track, but until then I won't be up here for a while. But I did manage to read the latest One Piece chapters! My favorites are Usopp and Zoro. xD Usopp just because he's one of my favs (and now he looks even more badass than Thriller Bark), and Zoro... Well, does anyone else not think that him suddenly coming back and apparently losing an eye is awesome?? And that entrance! A WHOLE SHIP YO. I saw it coming (he was being trained by Mihawk, after all), but still! And I love how his new look is so obviously Mihawk-influenced. Mihawk is one of my favorites, too, and to have my favorite Straw Hat influenced by his badassity is a dream come true!

... I still didn't get my Shanks Gaiden, though. D:

Anyway, sorry for those who might have liked Will of Fire. I took that down. I wasn't kidding when I said I might delete it, it wasn't some kind of review con or something. I really deleted it because I lost inspiration two and a half chapters into it. :| And it was a stupid idea, anyway.

And Fenton Files has been adopted by Ghostface317! I can not thank them enough! That's a real load off my chest. -whew-
