RWBY: Caerulean: My currently active story. What started as a Self Insert, has gradually turned into a genuine OC as the story goes on... Largely in part because I decided to write him as part of Cinder's group; who writes themselves as the bad guy? Pfftt! In all seriousness, though, the premise of this story was to go outside the box and do something that isn't exactly popular. And while OCs are fairly common in RWBY fanfiction, good OCs are, in my opinion, not; they tend to either be too OC-centric and not really have much to do with the main story, or they go the opposite route and completely take over the main story. Especially in case of Self Inserts, where they tend to become Gary/Mary Stu/Sues. Add in that the vast majority tend to be 'add your character(s) to a high school setting' and you find yourself a long list of stories that feel mostly the same. So I decided I would attempt to break that trend, by writing an OC story from the villain's side of things, and while making him competent enough to keep up (mostly), do so without him becoming the only competent/relevant character. Caerulean is narrated in the style of an autobiography of sorts, switching points of view from 'over the shoulder' third person of the titular character (mostly) in the story proper, and a sort of interviewer style point of view, with the narrator speaking directly to the "camera", at an unspecified date in the future (though these segments tend to be somewhat irregular during action heavy sequences).

Currently, updates on this story have been suspended while I rewrite much of the existing story. Among my goals are to write a full prologue, add some interludes, and give the story less of a clinical feeling overall. And I hope to have this all done within a few months, in time to hopefully finish volume 1 on the anniversary of it's publishing date, November 3rd. It doesn't seem likely at the moment, but I am definitely going to try!

Dragon Ball Z: Third Class Elite: My very first story, which is currently on indefinite hiatus; while I may return to it some day, it probably won't be until I've finished at least the first volume of Caerulean. The premise of this story was basically to give Goku adoptive Saiyan parents: Tora and Fasha. Basically, when Dodoria ambushed Bardock's team, Tora and Fasha were merely left unconscious, and subsequently were able to escape to Earth, where they would find Kakarot and raise both him and the child they would eventually end up having. They would all eventually go on to face Frieza together someday... But first, they had to figure out how to come anywhere close to powerful enough. The main problem I ran into with that story (besides suddenly not having time to write it due to real life circumstances) was that having Tora and Fasha around meant that Goku and my OC would get too strong too fast... And also that nothing before Vegeta arrived would ever truly be a threat, so I was stuck with either having to rewrite the entirety of Dragon Ball, or skipping straight to Vegeta and doing a lot of 'X, Y, and Z happened at some point in the past'. Which I am NOT usually a fan of. So if I ever do get back to this, it will probably be a complete revamp.
