Yep. So, thanks to, most likely, having nothing better to do you are now staring at my user profile on Fanfiction.net. Congratulations on your boredom and thank you for stopping by all the same. Since you're probably expecting to read something about, well, me here, I suppose I can put down some information about myself and what I'm working on, though I do want it noted that this seems like a large amount of effort on my part to minimal on yours.

I'm a fairly bland human male, from and currently living in the state of Wisconsin and working as a software consultant. As most people who know me will tell you, I'm calm and quiet to the point of usually being overlooked in most situations, which suits me just fine. Thanks to having more than a few teachers in my family, I have a deep rooted interest in history, especially of the military variety.

My abiding love of science fiction began when my father bought me a copy of Wedge's Gambit, the second book in the X-Wing series, and I was forever hooked. I am currently focused on two original works that I hope to publish either in print, or more likely, digital format sometime this year or next, but I find that writing fanfiction on the side helps me avoid burning out on those particular endeavors.

My Characters

With the already grey area that all of us here are writing in, given that this is Fan Fiction, if anyone wishes to use characters that I've created in my stories within their own fanfiction please feel free to do so. All I ask is the following; PM me so that I can read it, and do please try to keep them roughly in character. If they have to die, at least make it badass.

Current & Future Projects

She Who Fights Monsters - Active;
I don't think there's very many good White Fang-centric stories out there, and even fewer ones that feature Ilia as a major character. This is not intended as an overly long story, twenty or so chapters divided into two story-arcs, but it should hopefully be a unique and interesting take. The stresses and strains of being a faunus, especially one that can easily pass for human, will be explored, as well as the turmoil within the White Fang as they go from Ghira's pacifism to Sienna's targeted violence on down to Adam's extremism. AU in the sense that Ilia travels with Blake and Adam to Vale when the latter is promoted to command that branch of the White Fang.

Champion in Exile - Planned;

This is a tentative concept focused on my interpretation of Pyrrha, but with an additional AU twist where Pyrrha leaves Mistral for Vale several months before the new semester at Beacon begins... where she encounters someone else fleeing from their past, and forms an unlikely friendship that drags her into a conflict she'd never thought of touching. Will play around with the nature of unwilling celebrity, familial problems, and just how far someone desperate for companionship amid a lonely life might go. This story will begin posting sometime after She Who Fights Monsters is completed.

Another Realm

I've gotten a few questions about this, but yes, Another Realm is currently on long-term hiatus and I can make no promises about when I will find the motivation again. I do, however, promise that if I can't resume it by the end of 2020 I will post the remaining chapter outlines so that everyone can see just where the story was going to end up going.
