Author has written 9 stories for Hetalia - Axis Powers, One Piece, Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, Tokyo Ghoul/東京喰種トーキョーグール, and K. Profile Alias: Jazzline Age: I'm your average teenager, that's all you need to know. Short Introduction: An inspiring author who is constantly battling with a gigantic force to be reckoned with, the... writers' block. She is fascinated by the writing of many others on this website and likes to read through the works of others in order to entertain herself/spur herself to write better stories. Pet peeves (May be hypocritical and if so, I apologise.) : - Authors cutting in mid way during the chapters to talk to the character. There are exceptions to this, however, such as the comedy genre. I don't mind the breaking of the fourth wall when it's meant to be humorous and whatnot. However, if it just so happens to take place during some kind of scene which is entirely serious / out of place for the fourth wall to be broken... No. Please, no. - Text chat. It's completely fine with me if you decide to use it in A/Ns but please take into account that fanfictions are stories. Stories are meant to be made up of properly spelled words that form coherent sentences. The exception to this is that it is the characters themselves making use of text chat while text messaging other characters on their phone / chatting on the internet. (Unless it really goes against the characterisation that you portray of them in the story, I don't see what's wrong with that.) Other notes: I like to give constructive criticism and praises when it is due. I apologise in advance if I may speak a little out of turn and come off harsher than I intend to when giving criticism. Furthermore, if you find any fault with my writing, please kindly point it out. Constructive criticism would be much appreciated! Stories: I've been pretty much on hiatus for the past many months. I do start writing some fanfiction ideas down occasionally though I find myself soon not being able to complete them / lose interest in continuing to write them. The Bet - Sorry, I might re-write it another time but at the moment, I have lost interest in the Hetalia fandom. Mugiwara Pirates: Collection of Ficlets & Drabbles - I do plan to continue this in my spare time during the holidays. OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion, or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. If not, join the majority and do nothing. A moment of silence. |
