Probably about time I update this thing, I reckon, given that much of what had been on here before was years out of date. I am a full time teacher, who writes both original and fanfiction stories for fun. One day though, I would love to have a fantasy epic published and have grown up reading the likes of LotR, Wheel of Time, Elric and a great many more fantastical stories drenched in magic and steel and heroics.

Theses are the kinds of stories I love both to read, and to write and as such my fanfics I think reflect that. Inheritance is largely a fantasy adventure story through the lens of Naruto, and Stand Tall and Becoming are both also in that vein. All three of these fics are ACTIVE going into 2019, and I will be trying to post semi-regular updates for all of them, as well as update this page with a little word as to how each fic is going.

Inheritance - Obviously the big mama-jamma of a job. Not gonna lie here, I want this fic done. Not because I don't enjoy writing it but it has been a long time going now, and leaving somehting like this unfinished would devastate me. Nine years of my writing life has been spent working on it, and through it you can see my writing shift and change with time. Some things I'm better at I think, some things probably worse.

Currently, Chapter 30 is deep in the works, but I have a scene by scene outline prepared for Chapter 30 - War, Chapter 31 - Crucible and also Chapter 32 - Danzou. All that needs to be done is to fully flesh out each of those scenes and we will be deep into Suna and Orochimaru's invasion.

Stand Tall - Chapter 9 has just gone up, but much like Inheritance I have the next couple of chapters plotted scene by scene ready to be fleshed out. Quite differently from Inheritance however, this story's Part 1 is fully plotted out now from start to finish; and I have to say, I'm incredibly excited to write it. I've had a lot of fun with the characters throughout this story, and they really do go on a journey throughout. I hope you are as pleasantly surprised by the twists and turns and bumps in the road for the Hogwarts lot that this particular mutation of canon has conjured as I was.

Becoming - Writing this in a compelling way is a challenge, and this will probably be my slowest burner in terms of update speed. I have Ash's team planned for the most part, and have a good idea about how the story progresses. It's just that writing a compelling action/adventure story with a Lv 5 Eevee that know tackle, tail whip and fuck all else is a grind. I get the feeling though that once I've pushed through the barrier of the initial action scenes and there are bigger varieties of pokemon available etc., that the writing will get far easier, much like Inheritance did once Naruto had picked up a few tricks and a style.

I also endeavor to reply to all reviews that ask questions and such, as long as it hasn't already been covered in the A/N in already posted chapters. I'll do this either through PMs or in the A/N themselves, if the question has been asked more than once. I love talking to other members of the community, so fire away. I insist.
