Occupation: Working as an attorney, lots of knitting and other crafts on the side. Hoping to throw writing back into the hobby mix instead of just jotting down notes and ideas.

Likes: I love to read and write, and firmly believe that reading well is the best way to become a better writer. I like quotes, be they from famous people, movies, books, whatever. I like buttons/pins or whatever you refer to them as. -- Tam 2020 update: yeah, this hasn't changed. Reading, writing, quotes, pins are all still things I like. Add in knitting and other crafts.

Dislikes: Flames are stupid and rude. -- Tam 2020 update: yep, hasn't changed.

Manga: Crescent Moon, Bride of the Water God, Night School: Weirn's books, and others. I'm a sci-fi, fantasy fan, but don't like overt violence.

Books: LOTR, Harry Potter, Ranger's Apprentice, Sisters Grimm, anything by Tamora Pierce except for the Alanna series, Black Beauty, Sherlock Holmes, the list goes on. I read from many genres, and often. -- Tam 2020 update: unchanged, although I have new books I like, Daughter of the Pirate King, Daughter of the Siren Queen, House of Salt and Sorrows, the Raven Boys series. OwlCrate is a great monthly book box!

Fandoms: Harry Potter and Sisters Grimm for the moment. Also Mythology. In my head I have written for just about every book I have read or movie I have seen (and enjoyed), much to my beta's amusement as I have told her about them. I have notes for stories in Eragon, more Harry Potter, Naruto, Off*Beat, Sherlock, Kingsmen, Merlin, and so on. -- Tam 2020 update: unchanged, I plan to get back to my active fandoms, and then start writing down all these notes and ideas I have.

What I might write in future?

I have loads upon loads of ideas in my head, some of which I have written down. I would like to write them all, but who knows...life hasn't been easy the past few years, due to illness in the family. I am working on making a writing schedule to help me begin writing again! This is ongoing struggle as I seem to insist on beginning new endeavors, which distract me from writing. -- Tam 2020 update: unchanged. Still have tons of ideas, lacking the time or focus to sit down and write. I hope to change that soon though.

As stated in my profile above, things have been difficult in the real world, and I'm afraid I lost a lot of motivation to write for a long time. p.p.p.s One more apology to go. I started law school this fall, and should be falling into a more stable lifestyle. There is still some illness in the family, but hopefully I will feel more motivated to write instead of telling my beta the stories verbally soon. --Tam, 1/16/16
