I love reading well-written angst, fluff, friendship, and character studies as genres. I also like parodies, crack, and AUs with more kickbutt main characters than canon.

I like writing mostly angst and character studies, which I only discovered recently. Maybe it has to do with what I read? I don't know, but it's like the only thing I've written lately.

I wanted to say that I've been a sucky author, starting one story and then not updating in so long ;-; Honestly, it takes an hour or more to write 1000 words and here people are having a story for a month and already a 30k word count. HOW?! Not that I'm complaining, just... I wish I had that much time/inspiration. I also suck in regards to responding to reviews, but know that I read and treasure each one. I'll get to responding someday! Thank you all for all the support! It staggers me how many people are interested in the little plotbunnies that ravage my brain!~-end edit

Thank you to all the authors who are devoted to their fanfiction. Especially when you're not getting paid, it takes a special type of person to love writing and their fandom so much to consistantly contribute to the fandom, enough for a whole book--100k words or more. It's hard, and the ones able to keep me entertained I applaud as well--I'm very slippery. Oops?

Yeah, I'm done with AssassClass, as you can see if you read far enough. Gundam Wing... well, I don't know if I'll come back to it. I'm on ep 120 of HxH right now, so I have to finish that first. Then I want to watch the Future Arc of KHR at least. Then I have my 'to-watch' list and they all sound more interesting. We'll see.~-

-I absolutely adore SAO Season 1 part 1 and season 2 part 1 (the other parts are generally okay, though Season 2 part 2 made me cry so hard).

-I love KHR, it's my main fandom at the moment, even if pretty much all I know comes from wiki and other fanfics. Too much here to say at the moment. I do have to comment that there are so many gorgeous boys in this show that it's, like, a sin. So many plotbunnies, including crossovers, down below in the "ideas-free-to-adopt" section. 2 August 2017: Midway through Varia Arc. Can't wait to get through the Future!

-Hunter x Hunter I have watched and loved, even if I skipped most of the Chimera Ant arc (it made me really, really nervous for Gon and Killua so I ended up skipping ahead to the final battle and continuing from there after watching a bit of the training, but now I'm going back and I have to say that I want to hit the me of the past who was so blind over the head. This arc is perfection. It's too much to describe, I'm not even going to attempt it). If you want to PM me and gush with me over characters, relationships, Nen... I'm wide open. Please do so! I'll gush even harder back and you'll go 'who's this creep? Stay the heck away from her...'

Yeah. I. Love. Hunter x Hunter. Just. Only a little less than KHR.

-BNHA! that show is amazing and I love it and there's a fic coming for it soon (Izuku my little boy ily hon)

-One Piece I dabbled in before deciding that it was too big of a time commitment for me right now.

-I started No. 6, have to finish it. Edit: July 21 2017: I did a while ago, but can't remember when. I ship then so much~!

-Assassination Classroom. Dhsidbfbs- the feels! I really like how this series highlighted each student and gave them abilities. Karma, Nagisa, Karasuma-sensei, and Koro-sensei will always hold a special place in my heart.

-K, the movie, and K: Return of Kings. I love it so much! Yashiiiiro/Adolf! (Spoilers) I really wish the Dresden Slates wouldn't have had to have been destroyed, though. Superpowers for all of what, less than half a century? Eh. That's one problem I aim to fix in Gilded Sky!

-Oh, oh, oh, and there's Magi and the sequel season or whatever that was. Finished it, loved it. Who else absolutely loves the kickbutt woman thing Morgiana's got going on? Also, her fire chains are like the best woman's weapon I've ever seen in an anime. I love Aladdin and Alibaba too.

-Started Black Lagoon, got to episode like 5 or something.

-Finished Danganronpa season 1. Can I tell you... that plot twist at the end though! Man. I don't know if I want to watch the others, they don't have that 'locked up, gotta kill someone I'm desperate' Hunger-Gamesy vibe.

-Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan, 1st season. I like it!

and others I'm forgetting.

(Can someone just tell me who arrives when and what happens in the KHR Daily Life arc chronologically in a nice bulletpointed list? And the rest of the anime? That would make my life so much easier.)

Harry Potter is my favorite book fandom (I like KHR and HxH and AC better), by which I mean the community. I find I'm not exactly as fond of the books as I'd like to be, though they were good. Now I want a rewrite with Slytherin!Harry and completely new content. I just find that I look at things with far more of a Slytherin/political perspective than Gryffindor, and I want to see much more of the Wizarding high culture, manipulations, and customs than the 'Lord' hint from Sirius and whatever else is mentioned (to be honest, it's been a couple of years, and now with this perspective I don't want to drag through the books again just to find important plot points).

It's probably a good thing fanfiction is there then. We can speculate all we like (Thank you JK) and make up several different systems.

I would also like to see elves or a court of them in HP. No, I'm not talking about cute, adorable (insane) house elves. I'm talking their far more dignified cousins from LOTR. Not that there is anything wrong with house elves, it's just that... really? It's kinda sad (though Dobby makes me crack up, the little firebird). The elves I know are proud, independant, kickbutt, and generally gorgeous.

Maybe just introduce any court at all. I love the Slytherin Court idea, even more when it's just something that seems to fall into place. A Dark, Grey, or Light Magic Court would be nice and impressive to see as well.

But not much captures me quite like a political Harry and Tom fanfic though.

I also like Eragon, Lord of the Rings, The Grisha Trilogy, Rise of the Guardians, Narnia, The Ascendence Trilogy, Percy Jackson series, Heroes of Olympus series, Ash like Snow, Grace, Fire, Bitterblue, the Mysterious Benedict Society series, anything by Lemony Snicket or authors like him, and tons of tons more.

So I hope to see you if I do decide to finally post some of my fanfiction!

So, yes, ch. 2 of A Sky's Soothing Solace is in the works. I have about half of it done. The thing is, I don't have my own computer. That limits my typing time. The other thing is, I realized that I have to actually go back and watch a bit of KHR to try and familiarize myself more with their canon characters and powerups to make the reunions and future powerups seem IC. This 'reunion for everyone' is surprisingly hard. Then I have to go back and watch HxH to get the parts of dialogue that I want.

Why did I do this to myself?

It's okay, I love it. I can't believe how many follows and favs I've got already! Like, who even checks out the HxH/KHR crossover section anymore? It's painful for me to look at.

Posted 2nd chapter hesitantly. Wanted to get the girls in there, but oh well. It was getting long anyways.

And I finished Assassination Classroom yesterday. Oh my gosh, the feels. I want a fanfic about Nagisa's assassination classroom. That last line he said, "I'd love it if you could kill me... that is, if you can by the end of the year." Yes!

.*hint hint* I can't help but think that in Mafia School, that would be allowed. If anyone wanted to take up a KHR/AC crossover.

Am I the only one who thinks this is turning into a blog?

So the next chapter has our favorite girls (Hana, Haru, and Kyoko) in it. And they are suitably terrifying.

Guys... no one wants to beta a KHR/HxH xover. Nobody I've looked at has both fandoms on their beta profile. (I've only gone over twenty, but it's not like I have hours to spend doing this.) *cries*

Also, the small-animal-omnivore thing. Am I the only one who finds this absolutely adorable? I can't get it out of my head.

And KHR plotbunnies are running me over. Backstory, tragic backstory is all my muse wants to turn out. Like, what even? Why must I be the one inspired to write a Zabini!Skull?

I'm so sorry guys! I have the beginning portion of ch 3, but right now I need better characterization. So I'm going to go back and watch at least part of the Future Arc, but I want to finish HxH first. I'm on about episode 116, but I was in the 90s just on Friday (today's Monday), so I think that's good.

Can I tell you? The final battle drags on so long and I'm so nervous! I even know how Gon turns out in the end and I'm so jittery...

So. hahaha. I haven't progressed much farther in HxH, but I have watched the first season of Danganronpa?

I posted a Takeshi character study poem yesterday, the first in the upcoming series of Guardian character study poems. It's what I've been working on while I stagnate with ASSS. I have Rain i, which I posted, Storm i, and Sun i written completely, only the first two actually typed up. I have Cloud i half-typed, and Male Mist i half-written (this one I'm not very satisfied with).

Have a plotbunny of the Guardians and Tsuna all being born in Namimori or some rural African/Austrailian town after Byakuran succeeds in taking over and the only ones really dissatisfied are Hibari and Mukuro, so they band together to destroy Byakuran in whatever way possible.

Posted Gokudera character study poem called Storm: Rage. I was thinking of renaming it Vaporize, though, cause of the small acid metaphor I had going on and get what acid does?

So the Cloud chara bunnies have attacked me. I have ideas but his poem is already the length of the other chapters with a/ns and character profiling included. and it's only going to get longer.

Well, we have to make up his word deficit somewhere.

I think he deserves it. He's quite the complicated character, even if he seems so simple at first. (If you want to hear me expand on that, read the Cloud poem.) Straightforward does not mean simple. His backstory should not be any less complicated!

It's going to be a while before I start up on ASSS again, after the Future Arc, so I guess a semi-kinda-hiatus? I hate saying that because it leaves the chance to abandon.

Finished with HxH now, (my heart is crying why isn't there more?!) so I'll move on to the Future Arc pretty soon.

This weekend I went on a choir trip to Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO. It sucked too bc it rained all day. We got to go see the Shanghai Acrobats though and I liked that better.

So I didn't get any writing done, is the point of that.

I have an English project due tomorrow, haven't started it ;) oh well.

So no fancy lyrics on the recently posted Sun, but I'm working that and a better ending out.

haha... hi?

so, no new updates on either of my stories. Or not really. I did do a little A/N/teaser chapter in ASSS.

On the bright side, Cloud is almost finished and I'm starting Lightning!

No, I have no plans of abandoning either of my stories. I think of new ideas every week. What I am trying to do is finish KHR. I'm on episode 4 right now, which considering the length of time ago I told all of you I'd start, is pitiful. But. I did finish HunterxHunter (AHHHHHH-) and I'm almost done with K: Return of Kings. Just found out like, what, last week? there was a second season, and I had to finish it first. I'm not done yet, but I will be by the end of this week.

I also have finals this week, so? Give me some leeway for studying?

Summer is going to give me more time to write, but I'm not sure how much. My parents like to pack everything they can in my schedule and now that my mom won't be assuming a lot of the time that I'm doing homework (when I'm reading fics), I might actually have less. We have a family computer, and I type so much faster than texting on my phone. I refuse to do it from my phone unless I absolutely have to. I also want to get a job and focus more on voice where I haven't been and really should be.

How many of you have noticed that I go back and add stuff to A/Ns on other chapters? Any updates and stuff on status will be left in the top A/N of this chapter or on my profile, which I also update status on sometimes. It's mostly because I detest A/N chapters myself. I didn't want to do this, but I felt like I needed to.

Thank you for staying with me! I'm sorry to all of you who have been waiting patiently for new chapters. I know I should not have published without more prewritten, but honestly if I hadn't, I wouldn't have any plans to continue. It would be abandoned!

I'm also planning to add some backstory stuff after the draft on ASSS fairly soon, in a couple of days, so keep checking up!

Hey guys hi! Right now what's going on is the US premiere of the children's opera the Snow Queen. It's so much fun and I'm so excited to be one of eight people in the Snow Army/Hens serving under the Snow Queen, but blocking and rehearsals are literally going to take up 2/3rds of my day for two weeks. I'm sorry ;-; Performances on the 17th and 18th! (We get glow-in-the-dark weapons, by the way, and the set is a bunch of revolving, different-sized triangles that have LED lights on them. It's so cool!)

So I'll hopefully be back to writing soon. I love you all!

Snow Queen's over, it was so fun! Then I got to go to a youth trio to Nauvoo for my church (yes, I'm a proud Mormon) and on Monday my family is going to Branson Missouri. After that I'm going to visit my dad and I pretty much won't get much time at all until drivers ed starts and I have to be in town for that. Ugg. I hate this. I'm sorry.

So I updated my profile several times since the last one but I did something stupid so that I erased a bunch of the stuff I'd put in. Stupid . So what happened was that I went to Arizona and had a lot of time to write and more inspiration than I've had in, like, forever, but Driver's Ed is taking up so much more time than I thought it would ;-; with an average of four hours a day. On the other hand, I can kinda drive now!

Most of the writing time I took up emailing a good friend ;) it was fun. Then my dad finished reading The Fellowship of the Ring to me and we watched the first season of Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan together. Yay.

ASSS is still hiatused, Sonder is still stalled, and Gilded Sky is the main one I'm working on but I'm not making nearly as much progress as I'd like.

Honestly, so many OCs. And I have to give each of them a /personality/ and /skills/. Gasp. Huuuue~ it's hard work.

Also, my attention has been briefly caught by another KHR plotbunny (I know, I know). It's a Soldier!AU with loooots of angst so that Gilded Sky isn't so angsty.

I do have good news tho. So despite my earlier piffy assurances that I'd start watching KHR *nervous laughter* I actually have tho. And can I tell you, I did not expect Tsuna to be so BAMF fighting Mukuro. Like, man. He was /so hot/. Mkay. That's all I have to say about that. (There are so many hot characters in KHR fjskcjs--)

So my SoldierAU burst of inspiration ran out, and so did my motivation for Gilded Sky at the moment. Does anyone want to PM me and we can just discuss ideas? I'm just kinda stuck. I know vaguely where I want it to go but that's about it, I'm having real trouble with getting there right now.

Back to working on Sonder (Lightning and Cloud) as of yesterday. I'm hoping I'll get at least Lightning finished today or asap, because I've been stuck there for so long, just no. Honestly, I'm not even sure if I want to publish it. It's so subpar compared to FemMist. Perhaps because FemMist is my masterpiece and baby and I probably won't make anything equal to it for a long while, but also because Lightning is kinda stale and I'm not exactly sure how to write Lambo and it's just not very good. People will be disappointed. At least I'll have an update for it though.

-Reborn refuses to leave Dino until he's completely polished, so Nono sends someone else to teach Tsuna. Unfortunately, the only person available seems to be the World's Greatest Stuntman. --Sum

-Muggle Skull backstory. American? Orphan?

-Skull-is-an-OC-from-AC!AU. AssassinationClassroom/KHR Xover. Mostly thinking how fun it would be if Skull's Team was comprised of AC graduates instead of being Enma and allies.

-Harry abandoned in Italy and picked up by Skull or Reborn. Teach him to hide his hate away and have morals and kill well and act (stuntride, flexibility). Hide and develop his Sky/Cloud Flames. Here I was thinking about a pseudo-story of the bitter-dark-assassin!Harry cliche but with him polished by Reborn or Skull. Bamf!Skull, of course.

-Skull is Zabini? Schmander?

-Skull-is-Nico!AU. HoO/KHR Xover

Nico could keep in touch with a very select few people, like just the Seven, and cut his losses and go to Italy and decides that he loves the freedom of being a stuntman. This would require some acute depression, counting in the fact that he /actually moved to Italy, in Europe, the stronghold of monsters and things./ He could long for the nostalgia of his homeland and go back to visit his old house. That would be a fun scene. And then just never leave. He could get started stuntbiking by Hazel and Will and Percy (everyone, really) pressuring him to get a hobby XD he picks stuntbiking because it's dangerous, will freak them out, and he could have a subconscious reason of liking the possibility this offers him of dying. Fighting monsters while stuntbiking could be a bit of an on-the-fly thing that just happens because he has to, and then continues because he refuses to give stuntbiking up. He gets good ratings for the theatrics caused by fighting them anyway XD He could join the Mafia by accidentally stumbling into a mafia-exclusive bar and somehow ending up in a conflict/fight that overwhelms him with numbers (this one is gonna be hard because how do you make him almost lose this fight to the point of near-death? He's a demigod, for not-Hades' sake. Drunk? Flames? Well, I guess it's not so far-fetched if you add in Flames, which are a power he's never dealt with before.). Then the Cloud Flames bust out and everyone wants him in their Famiglia. (He has to join the mafia now that he has flames anyway.) He gets tired of not only monsters but also mafiaso coming after him night and day and finally joins the Carcassa Famiglia. Omerta is explained to him and he goes 'oh shoot' and now that he's stuck, asks Percy for more self-defense/fighting lessons XD He also takes to carrying around regular knives with him besides his Stygian Iron one because he has to have something effective against mortals. Stygian Iron is one of the metals that's only effective against someone related to the gods' world, right? If not then it works anyway. Then he kinda plays with the Carcassa for fun, making them think that they can order him around or something, before proving his dominance when they try to go too far and he threatens the boss. He doesn't want to be boss though, just takes the position of strategist and likes playing around with seeming weak to everyone else and forcing the Carcassa to implement stupid-as-heck strategies that they fall for, the idiots, and he threatens them into doing. When the Arcobaleno meeting comes, he loves being underestimated and the reactions he gets for being so 'weak' and so annoying. He just never stops. And he doesn't really care about being a 'lackey.' It gives him something to do, sometimes. Then over the course of stuff he claims them as his own, much like the Seven. When he gets turned into a baby he cuts all contact though and goes into hiding. Will will probably track him down, scold him, and then try to help as much as possible though XD

Regular KHR

-SoldierAU.

-The reason Ryohei is loud all the time is that when he's quiet he's drop-dead sexy and both genders just can't leave him alone.

-Ryohei character study. Onism, depression, Athazagoraphobia, fear of losing his family, Phronemophobia , whatever.

-Hibari character study. Several types, one with bad parents, one as orphan, one as absent parents. Philophobia, fear of having emotion in general. Reason for metaphors.

-Mukuro is reincarnated into Xanxus, Nana?, Daemon?, Fuuta, Hibari, Federico, and Byakuran. Mukuro trolls everyone, basically.

HP/KHR xovers

-Harry-is-the-Cloud-Arcobaleno-but-not-Skull!AU. Or he is, could twist it either way.

Could be abandoned by Dursleys before Hogwarts, during, or after, but once Harry ends up in the Mafia he doesn't go back to the school by choice. Could be kidnapped once school years are over. Thinking about abandonment around summer after 5th, before 6th. Sirius is dead and the Dursleys abandoned him, but something inside him says he still has to survive. To find a family. Finds a Sky eventually. Xanxus, Dino? Leaning towards Xanxus.

If he is Skull, underground racer or biker gang XD

-CloudArcobaleno!TomRiddle. This one just... Ha. Hahaha. Imagine the looks on the other's faces! Probably crackfic.

Includes young days, when his mother teaches him things, gets real enthusiastic about all her assassinations, and upholds the glory of the widespread but little known (and much feared to those who did know) Zabini. His stepfathers, all but one or two, don't like him. Hit him, treat him badly, so he takes to the streets a lot when mother is married. Learns lots of things like surviving, fighting, pickpocketing, allies, power plays. Learns magic from Mother. She's great when she pays attention to him, loves him and teaches him morals and things. Teaches nuances and self-defense and ways to kill people. Zabini magic is toward staying quiet and hidden and basically built for assassination. Other Zabini can use it for other things, they're creative.

Goes to Hogwarts to stake out the Boy Who Lived as potential ally. Canon/canon divergent here, choice between actually becoming ally or staying not, both or pick one. Between sixth and seventh year, awakens Cloud/Mist flames, becomes Varia Cloud. Could go back to England and murder some Death Eaters.

K/KHR Xover

-GoldKing!TsunaAU. Already started this as Gilded Sky, check it out! But please take this idea, I'd love to see what someone else comes up with for it!

HxH/KHR xovers

-Lambo-is-Killua!AU. "Killua wakes up to a not-so-glamorous new life in the not-so-glamorous Bovino family. It's a good thing he's used to dark-and-dirty things". --Sum

-Killua-is-a-dormant-soul-inside-of-Lambo!AU. "When Lambo almost dies at the end of the Lightning Ring Battle, something that had slumbered inside of him awoke, looking to protect its relatively innocent vessel. (Killua is surprised, but takes a liking to Lambo. The boy is kind-hearted and just wants to be noticed and loved. Their pasts are too similar for Killua to not take Lambo under his wing.)" --Sum

Includes Killua finding a Sky/home in Tsuna, Killua asking Mukuro to make him stronger by raising his pain resistance and power levels in his mindscape, occasional snapshots of Killua emerging, Nen reawakening, and the explanation given to Tsuna and Reborn.

-Calvin & Hobbes/KHR xover. Calvin wanders off one day, done with his family and his life, presumably been living in Japan. He meets some fun children, Lambo and I-Pin, and plays with them. In which Calvin's weapon in his red wagon, he never gets seriously hurt somehow, he has an abundance of Mist Flames, and Hobbes is alive with Mist Flames.

-The 3-E class decide to spend their 5/10 yr reunion completing the Hunter Exam. AC/HxH

-The islanders don’t buy Moana’s sea nomad idea and she can’t stay away from the sea. What else is she to do but pick up Maui and become a pirate? Can join a crew, Luffy’s or otherwise, or not. I like the idea that she’d gather her own crew and be BAMF without a Devil Fruit because she couldn’t do that to her beloved ocean. And yes, she’s a BAMF woman pirate captain. OP/Moana xover. If it's not a thing already, it should be.

HP fics

-Fem!Tom. Just... Fem!Tom. Not only does he have to prove himself as a mudblood, but also as unfeminine. This makes him simultaneously more ruthless and a better actor, as he uses dashing beauty to manipulate.

-It's time for the thirty-third Games, and Maybelle, a short, scrawny, and ridiculously weak thirteen-year-old orphan, is called to do her duty for her home District. Where a majorly underpowered OC ends up winning the Games by cutting off most of the food supply, stashing it in places only she remembers, and leaving poisonous food for other people to find and unwittingly eat. Could take a silver parachute and load it with poisonous food and drop it down. District 11?

Why there is so much excess, the Districts don't deserve it, they sacrifice themselves to prove that they love you, they won't rebel again, they are paying off the debt of lives that they ended in the war. But just in case they ever get the preposterous idea of rebellion again, the Games will stamp it out.

Where Flames get discovered by the Gamemakers and obviously turned into a selling point, the First Gen end up having to donate sperm to the cause, which the Tenth Gen is born of, and they both end up fighting each other in the Games. Tsuna/Gokudera are from the same district, Gokudera tries to protect Tsuna with his explosive and tech expertise, Tsuna is useless except for when it comes to emotions and the rare "intuitive" moment. Takeshi, from district 4, only knows how to make sushi and vague sword movements from his father, ends up drowning in hopelessness and tries to commit suicide, saved by Tsuna. He joins up with 59 & 27, kills a few people to save them. Mukuro just wants to kill everyone he can, being a Capitol lab rat dropped in District 8 only to be chosen for the Games two months later, and experiments with the Flames he has, seeing what they can do. He disguises himself like a perpetually frightened girl with the same Flame as his that he killed early on (Chrome ;-;). Kyoya prowls with his tonfa, refusing to go out and search for prey, instead felling any that come close enough to threaten him, and curls up in some trees with some little animals. In this case, his refusal to follow orders inadvertently saves pretty much every other tribute (for a while). Lambo is taken in by Tsuna but dies a Rue-like death. Ryohei is killed challenging Kyoya. The other tributes are unimportant, they die by various things. Vast majority die by Mukuro. Tsuna dies by Mukuro's hand protecting 80&59, they hunt down and eliminate Mukuro themselves, then in a moment of mutual understanding, commit suicide together. Kyoya wins by virtue of holing up and not doing much while Mukuro slaughters everyone.

-Or Tsuna and Co are reborn in this world with their memories and they're like "nope, the government's never stopped us before" and well, Panem is not quite as prepared as it perhaps should be.

-Some of the HG characters reborn into KHR. Prim, Haymitch, Finnick, Annie, Cinna, Rue, Foxface, Thresh, Johanna, Wiress/Beetee. Finnick one of Mukuro's lives?

27 commandments of FanFiction

[these are my own edits]

1. Thou shalt not post a fic until it has been checked for grammar and spelling errors. The fanfiction gods hath given you a spellchecker on the computer for good reason. Use it.

2. Thou shalt not post a chapter of less than [5]00 words, unless it is a drabble. If thou breakest this rule, this displeases the masses.

3. Thou shalt not put author's notes in the middle of the story. At beginnings and endings are fine.

4. Thou shalt NEVER use text-speak in a fic, unless the characters are actually texting.

5. Thou shalt keep to one tense, and only one, throughout the story. Do not switch randomly.

6. Apply the above number 5 to POVs as well.

7. Thou shalt not get offended when someone makes fun of the crack pairing featured in your fanfiction. It probably is rather hilarious.

8. Thou shalt not use ._., ;, or :( in a fanfiction to show the emotion exhibited by a character.

9. Thou shall try-eth to keep characters in character!

[Unless the plot hinges on changing the character. Or it's an AU. Or you decided to make Harry Potter not a lucky Gry-I mean idiot. I always support that.]

10. Thou shall not treat every criticism as a flame.

11. The author's note is not a spot for your personal drama, and thou shalt not make it so.

12. Thou shalt not put any form of the phrase "first fic" in thy summary. This turns away the ones who taketh this business seriously.

13. Thy created characters must not have names that exceed five syllables in length. Nor shall thy name have more than five words.

14. Thou shall not insert thyself into the story line as thyself or as a character –– yes, we know that you are in love with yourself and are very narcissistic, we just don’t want to read about how you end up with the main character.

15. If thou art writing a story that does not follow the original story line, point it out in the beginning.

16. Thou shall not make a person randomly smart or powerful unless stating a reason for the change [a good reason].

17. Thou shalt show and not tell.

[Eh. This depends on the flow of the story for me. If you can make it work, great. If you literally always show and never tell me anything, I think I'll get confused though. So take this one with a grain of salt.]

18. Thou shalt not EVER use the phrase "I suck at summaries" in-est thine summary. This annoys thine readers.

19. Thou shalt not write the same way thou speakest –– writing is an art.

20. Thou shalt ALWAYS spell the word "okay" correctly. Using the letter "K" is an unacceptable compromise.

21. Thou shalt only use clichés when thou a) art writing a parody or b) find a new and interesting twist to make such clichés bearable to thine reader.

22. Thou shalt always separate dialogue from two separate speakers in two separate paragraphs. Otherwise thine readers shalt be confuse-ed.

[The other pet peeve I have with this is where a person speaks and their action is in the former paragraph, with ANOTHER character's reaction after THEIR speech. It trips me up. ie:

"That's good," Pearl said. Dawn spoke up,

"Can't you just swim and get the book back right away?" Pearl shook her head.

"No, it doesn't work like that." Dawn pouted.

See? Confusing.]

23. Thou shalt not EVER make a chapter all one paragraph. THIS INFURIATES BOTH THINE READER AND THE FANFICTION GODS. They have given thee an ENTER key with good reason.

24. Thou shalt not write with thy caps lock on [for more than one sentence]. It displeases the masses, causes thy readers to lose their vision, and makes angels weep. [Except Ryohei. That is the ONLY exception. Not even Squalo. Well, maybe Squalo.]

25. Thou shalt know how to spell the character's names correctly before thou writeth the fic. Misspelling the name of the main characters makes readers angry and distracts from the story.

26. Thou shalt not say in thine summary "summary inside". This shows lack of creativity and infuriates the masses. The only exception is when a summary is cut short and a continuation of it lies inside.

27. Thou shalt use paragraphs and space the story so it is not terrifyingly daunting to thine readers.
