UPDATE May 2018: God it's...been awhile. While I have remained an active reader on this site (as my extensive Favorites list will attest to), I have entirely neglected any and all WIPs and fic ideas I had. I've sort of had a four year writing dry spell, brought on by a variety of things. Over the past four years, I have steadily worked my way through college (I'm graduating next week!), gone in and out of more fandoms than I've known what to do with, and grown up quite a lot. Looking back over the majority of my fics, I'm struck by how immature of a writer I was and yet how determined and optimistic I was about writing anyway. To remember my progress, I will be leaving the majority of my fics up and the ones I'll be taking down will be...old. I'm all for "let's see how far we've come" and all that, but I have no desire to see the work of my 12-year-old self alongside the work I've written as a 22-year-old.

I'm actually genuinely proud of a couple of my fics, and in that vein will eventually edit and rework them (this will be the...third? time I've updated/reworked Buried Secrets, but it's worth it, considering the last time I touched it I was 15). Buried Secrets, Coerced/Frequent Kidnapping Card, and Those Left Behind will all be reworked/edited eventually. Don't worry; I won't be taking the stories down in the meantime or anything. You're free to read my (quite frankly terrible) fics from 5-10 years ago; just know that I've become a much better and much more mature writer since then.

I'd like to thank everyone that has read and favorited my fics, and for those of you who followed my WIPs and commented on them even years after I'd stopped updating, my sincere thanks. Y'all kept me going sometimes. Please know that I never intended to abandon any of the fics I started and fully intend to finish them at some point, even if that "someday" is not the immediate future. Again, thanks a lot, and I hope to be a more active writer again very soon!
