If you feel the need to correct me about canon information that wasn’t always widely known on a finished fic that has an initial publication date prior to this knowledge’s release, then here’s a tip: don’t.

Doubly don’t do it on anonymous either.

I've discovered a new pet peeve. People reviewing one fic to make demands of me about another.

Please don't do that. It's not like I'm ignoring those other fics on purpose, I'm just blocked.

Due to recent events, I'm going to spell this out right on my profile:

Don't ever presume to tell me what to do with my stories.

I'm very possessive of my writing, and while I do love to talk about it, I react rather poorly to anything I perceive as someone trying to tell me what to do.

Do let me know if something is OOC, formatted wrong, grammatically incorrect, etc.

Do ask me questions if a plot point is unclear or you're curious about things in the future.

Do Not Under Any Circumstances tell me:

"don't do X because I don't like that"

or "I don't like that you did plot point Y, stop it."

or "Character S should do this to Character R" and then get mad when when I say "No"

and, Do Not try to tell me which of my stories are, and are not, part of my Fanon.

In short while I can BE a bitch, I am not anyone's bitch

Sorry for this rant, but I've been pushed a few too many times in the last two weeks and it's also built up over the course of being on here.

It's shit like this that drives fic writers off this site and out of fic writing in general.

MP here, back at it. Survived a year in my Phd program, and with flying colors. My story list has been updated with the latest information. With the exceptions of a few older works, everything I post on here is also cross-posted on AO3 unless stated otherwise.

Hello. I've decided to clean up my profile. So pretty much everything is gone except a few announcements and a status list of stories or series (should there be any in progress)

So much has happened since March.

For one, I started a Doctoral program. It's insane. I love it.

I quit my job to focus on my studies. It's the first time in six years I've been voluntarily unemployed.

I joined AO3. I resisted it for a while because of pride and other stupid reasons, but I have an account there with the same Penname.

It's really weird over there but I think I'm getting the hang of things. I also used Bolt Out of the Blue: Book 1 as a test fic to practice using their posting system.

Hello,

I've decided to make this general announcement. While a story is "In Progress," I will do what I can to address any grammatical errors, Continuity Errors, Story errors etc., pointed out to me.

However, once I've moved it to the "Complete" status, I will no longer do anything to it unless it is a One-Shot.

Reason being, honestly, I don't feel like messing with them once they're done.

I could get on a soapbox about how "art should be preserved in its older form and showing growth with newer works" but, in reality, it boils down to this: once I'm done, I'm done.

Unless I decide to revise a work (and I may do this someday), I will leave the completed form alone.

No matter how cringe worthy it may be. Some of my older stuff is really REALLY poorly done and yet I've left them be in their terrible yet completed forms.

I thank those who do point out these mistakes (of which I am sure there are MANY) and your input, while appreciated, will not be used at this time.
