Author has written 5 stories for Harry Potter, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Assassin's Creed, and Fallout. I am an amatuer writer that is far too busy reading fanfiction to write it. This is just a hobby to me, and any and all updates for the next two years will be sporadic and slow as molasses. If someone would like to, for some odd reason, beta any of my WIP as a side project, please PM or review, and I would be happy to work something out. Betas for punctuation and/or spelling are unnecessary. Write well, friends. Words are hard, but ideas are easy! I believe that fanfiction should be about the sharing of ideas between fans so that everyone involved can write a comprehensive, interesting story. Take credit, but don't take ownership! We're all playing in the same sandbox, aren't we? Written below are some ideas that I will be fulfilling eventually, but in the meantime are offered up to more dedicated writers in the hope that it lights up a bulb in someone's mind. If you want to use any of these ideas, that's fine by me. Let me know if you do, though. I want to be first in line to read it when you're done! Working Title - These are ideas that I WILL be using in the future. You are welcome to your own attempts, but these fics will be along in the next few years, once I get my car back from the shop and get a goddamn job and apartment. Also, these main characters can be either male or female. Badasses come in all shapes, sizes, and sexes! Harry Potter 1)Working title - The Power of Three. Voldemort was having a hard enough time with quashing the irritating Order of the Phoenix. Now that the Order has summoned three Heroes (note the capitalization) it's only gotten harder. Will Voldemort pull through or will the combined might of three proven Dark Lord killers win the day? 3 AU Potters, extra points if they're all badasses. 2)Working title - Blood and Fire. Traditional elemental forces are a tad more prevalent in this AU. The Potters have always had a bit of Wind in their soul, but it's the Evans' soul that are as Fiery as their hair. When Voldemort uses the Killing Curse, it succeeds in ripping out young Harry's soul, but the portion of the soul that is elemental refuses to go, quietly or otherwise. It converts the rest of the human soul into elemental, causing a massive explosion of fire, killing Voldemort and leaving the rune of the Sun seared into the baby's forehead. Young Harry now has complete control over fire, and only fire. Conventional magic is now impossible. 3)Working title - The Ogrewolf. AU. This one was actually inspired by another fic, Weres Harry by DobbyElfLord, because of the summary. At the end of third year, Harry is bitten by Lupin outside of the shack, after Pettigrew is revealed. The lycanthopy comes into contact with the horcrux, and things devolve from there. In a blind fit of pain, Harry runs off into the forest where he transforms into a really big wolf. Like, the norse myth of Fenrir, Spice and Wolf's Holo, size-of-a-house kind of big. Then he either runs deeper into the forbidden forest and stays there for a few months or so, or goes back. If he doesn't, keep in mind that Sirius and Remus will need to escape as well, otherwise both will probably be summarily executed. 4)Working Title - On Angel's Wings. AU. Because we need more Human!Hedwig fics. It's the summer of third year and Harry blows up his aunt. This time, however, Vernon doesn't take it lying down and follows him upstairs with a golf club. Hedwig gets critically hurt in the struggle, and Harry sees red. A burst of magic, completely intentional, kills Vernon stone dead. This intentional killing breaks the barrier between the horcrux and Harry's soul, causing a flood of information into his brain. In a delirious attempt to save Hedwig, Harry unknowingly combines a healing ritual with the horcrux ritual, and in a flash of light a naked girl with feathery white hair sits on his floor. Now he has to deal with a corpse and an unconscious naked woman. Well, shit. 5) Occlumency. Somewhere between first and third year, Harry finds a book about occlumency and thinks, hey this looks neat! So he tries it out. And breaks his brain. Because the mental representation of your cognitive functions is going to include a few vital things that you might not know were there until you stepped on them. 6) Poison. Very few people do an have done an indepth story on the art of making poisons. One might ask, what's so magical about potions, aside from the ingredients? The answer: the passive magic of intent. You can follow a recipe for a healing potion perfectly and still get a substandard one if you hate the person you're giving it to. But intending harm while brewing a poison? Well, that's another story. 7) Illusions. I've seen maybe one single story out of hundreds use illusions on a larger scale than glamours. That is definitely something that needs to be fixed. 8) Black magic. Otherwise known as the Forbidden Arts. There's dark magic and then there's Black magic, such as necromancy and voodoo. Princess of the Blacks by Silently Watches deals with this very well, as well as its counterpart of White magic, but it's one of the few. I'm sure Inferi are necromancy as well, but that seems like poor man's necromancy cobbled together from charms and transfiguration magic rather than any actual necrotic magic. 9)Yuki-onna, the japanese ice demon. AU. Young Harry gets tossed out of the house during the biggest blizzard of the century and told to go to the store, gets lost, and subsequently freezes to death. This female demon comes along, takes pity on him, revives him, and raises him. I'd also been thinking of having the overlying theme being summer vs winter, with Fawkes being the King of Summer, and an OC Cryophoenix being the King of Winter. 10) Druid. I know there was one story where people used druidic magic, but damned if I remember what it is. Druidic, Faery, Nature magic in general is underused, and I would like to see more of it. Naruto 1)Kyuubi, Sleeping God. AU. The cannon Kyuubi is a foul wretch of a creature. As such, there's only so many ways you can use a Machiavellian fox as a plot device. Of course, when some uppity little bastard human seals away half of your chakra, and thus, half of your soul, you'd probably be angry too. What would the Kyuubi be like if the entirety of his chakra was sealed into Naruto instead of the corrosive half he got? At his full power, the Kyuubi is said to be able to cause natural disasters with a swipe of his tail, and is otherwise known to wield the powers of a god. And what else is a god but eternal? Thus, when the Kyuubi is sealed, yin, yang, and all, into Naruto, it just shrugs and settles down to wait it out. Because the Kyuubi has all the time in the world. 2)Working title - Mindkiller. The Village of the Bloody Mist never discontinued its horrendous graduation practice for the orphan academy students, citing the Zabuza massacre as proof that the process brought out greatness in the weak. When a young Naruto gets in the way of a Kiri black op in Konoha, he's kidnapped and taken to the Village of the Mist, where he's pushed into the academy and has the naivete beat out of him. Still, he clings to his old village's motto, the Will of Fire, and makes a friend in the den of vipers. Come graduation, however, his friend can't take the pressure and turns on him, shattering Naruto's remaining faith in other people, and dragging his lingering anger and hysteria to the surface. Fueled by fear and anger, Naruto taps into the Kyuubi's massive Killing Intent and unleashes it, literally stopping the hearts of the surrounding students and teachers due to the close range. Thus is born another graduation legend in the Village of the Bloody Mist. 3)Working title - The Face Of Percy Jackson 1)Blood Mist. Post-Heroes of Olympus. Percy and the gang just saved Olympus and are going to celebrate. Tragically, a drunk driver runs a red light and plows into the side of the car, killing everyone inside but leaving Percy alive. Climbing out of the wreckage in a daze, he encounters the culprit unscathed and drunkenly laughing at the damage and suffers a mild psychotic break. Drawing Riptide, he attempts to stab the man. Surprisingly, he succeeds, his personal will forcing the celestial bronze to deem this mortal "important" enough to affect. As a result, the mortal blood corrupts the blade, staining it red and twisting its divinity. With the mortal dead, his blood lust clears enough for him to realize the gravity of the situation, but unable to cope with the ramifications. With blood on his hands, he raises his arms to the sky and calls upon Hecate, then snaps his fingers, calling upon the Mist and creating a Blood Pact with the mortal as sacrifice. Then he buries his friends and goes into hiding to grieve. 2)Working title - Marked. AU. Annabeth is combing over an empty warehouse that used to be a monster lair, so it's understandable that she's more focused on daydreaming about her boyfriend, Percy. Then a portal opens up and spits out the still smoking body of a demigod. At least, she assumes he's a demigod. Why else would he be branded from head to toe with the personal symbols of the Olympus council? For that matter, how does he know her name? And most importantly, why does he call himself "Gaiasbane"? 3)Working title - Calypso's Fury. Normally a nymph, Calypso is a Titan in this AU, one of the strongest. A side fic to Marked. There's a reason, aside from the pettiness of gods, that Calypso is still imprisoned on this tiny island paradise of hers. When she comes across the charred body, so clearly struck by lightning, of the only man to succeed in fulfilling his promise to return to her, Calypso thinks that maybe it's time to remind Olympus of that reason. This island can't contain her. It never could. 4)Working Title - Legacy Of Love. Gabe Ugliano's charming personality hid a horrible brutality, something Sally found out too late. With his mother either dead or comatose, and Gabe turning his attention to the only outlet left, a young Percy fled the apartment and made the streets his home. After several close calls, both human and monster, Percy is taken in by a streetwalker after she gets a good look at his eyes. As it so happens, she was a Legacy of Aphrodite, a child of a demigod, who used what little power she possessed to eek out a living doing what she did best. Despite knowing the forces arrayed against him, she was unable to simply look the other way. Camp Halfblood is in for a surprise. 5)Working Title - The Cloud Receptacle. Inspired by Boy on the Cloud, by Azaz the Unabridged. When Kronos ascended, the sheer power he exuded was similar to that of a hydrogen bomb. So similar, in fact, that it touched off a global thermonuclear war. The resulting conflict was more than enough to unseat the council from their thrones, their fall heralding a new Golden Age. The Olympians were chained and bound to Tartarus, as the Titans were, and only Artemis was fleet footed enough to escape. Forced to abandon her godly power and status in Tartarus in order to escape, she spent the next several centuries wandering the earth as a lowly immortal, gathering the occasional straggler here and the rare demigod there, all the while foraging for survival. But while Artemis survives, the gods plan in their prisons. Combining their symbols of power, they force the raw power of their symbols to rise from the depths of Tartarus, seeking the location of the only Host they know to exist. Specifically, one immortal demigod, his soul dragged from the Styx itself, chained to a cloud on the edge of Mount Olympus. The chains that bind him, simple Celestial Bronze, are too weak to contain such raw power, and so the Receptacle falls to earth. Crossovers 1)Working title - Zar's Wrath. HPxLeagueofLegends. Xerath!Harry. Voldemort won, and Harry is cornered in a cave that contains an exposed magical leyline. With no way out, he does a very Harry kind of thing and grabs the leyline. The cave is sealed in a burst of magic. With his victory complete, Voldemort builds his fortress on top of the entrance, and carves a warning into the wall above the cave entrance. "Beware the wrath of wizards," it reads. On the other side of the world, Luna Lovegood weeps. Millennium later, after a world changing magical cataclysm caused by Voldemort before he died, the building now known as the Institute of War is found and inhabited. Deep beneath the Institute, the message, almost perfectly preserved, is found. The last word, however, was near illegible. Scholars were only able recover three letters, making the message read "Beware the wrath of --zar--". The cave beneath it was excavated, and a perfectly smooth boulder, practically thrumming with magical power, was set on display in the main hall, where it soon gained the name of "Zar's Wrath", and later shortened to "Xerath". Much like the Hall of Judgement, the Xerath Stone became a rite of passage for those who champion a cause and seek the aid of Zar's Wrath. One day, Diana Lovegood, Scorn of the Moon, and last of House Lovegood, stood before the stone, and Harry Potter woke up. 2)Working title - The Mirror Thief. HPxSkyrim. Thief!Harry. Harry finds the Mirror of Erised, but with his desire for home, it's not his parents that he sees. Now Harry is in a foreign city with few choices and even fewer options. It's steal or starve in Riften, and Harry's not quite ready to give up yet. 3)Working title - Birds Of A Feather. HPxMaxRide. Summary Pending. 4)Working title - Lokisdottir. HPxPJO. The Norse pantheon is most certainly not interfering with a Greek prophecy. Nope. No sir. Not one bit. And if a female, black haired Norse demigod just happens to look like a certain sandy haired traitor while stabbing a Titan-possessed Ethan in the spine and freeing the prisoners... Well, coincidences do happen, don't they? 5)Working title - A Favor In Life Is Worth Two In Death. HPxBuffy. As it turns out, Death keeps a tab. Dying twice means twice the work, and Death is not the forgiving sort, so it's off to America for the Master of Death. Apparently there's some asshole trying to ascend to godhood and disrupt that natural balance of things. Fortunately for Harry, he fixed the Voldemort problem, so that's worth an ally or two. Unfortunately, that second resurrection had some consequences. Like the teeny tiny, itty bitty fact that he can't use his magic anymore, aside from his Necrotic powers. Sometimes Harry really wishes he could die properly. That's all for now. More in the future. Write well, friends! |
