Story Challenges:

VideogameBleach: Sado Yasutora.

Not many rules to this one.

1. Like the many Naruto Videogame fics, Chad should have a choice between the types of powers within canon.

ex. Shinigami Sado, Fullbringer Sado, Pride of the skin (Same powers as canon, but in a category all his own), Bount, Quincy, etc.

2. Games are too short without sidequests. Give him options to expand beyond canon.

ex. Quest: Path of Non-resistance - convince Shunsui not to fight. Reward: 20 influnce with Shunsui

3. The point isn't to make him godly, but give him a chance to be his friend's equal again. They promised to have each other's back but canon made Sado into cannon fodder

4. A love interest would be preferred but not necessary.

ex SadoXLisa would be crackish, but not unbelievable if handled right.

StrongChouji

VERY underused character. He could be an absolute juggernaut if done right. It's odd nobody picked up on that.

1. Doesn't matter if it's a crossover, but its preferred he be in his own universe.

Reason: Akamichi aren't really even mentioned unless its the Ino-Shika-Cho team.

2. No bloodlines.

Reason: It kinda defeats the premise of the story, an Akamichi becoming known throughout the Elemental Nations through his own skills.

3. Pairings not required.

March 28th, 2017 Life's a Wh*reson

I haven't really been in the frame of mind to write recently. Readers of my Si fic probably can tell I'm not the most mentally sound person (Not crazy, just a little broken) so the stress has been stabbing at me. Without giving much detail there's been hell and high water since my last profile update. But I am still working at the myriad of stories locked in my brain, both fanfiction and future books I intend to publish. Mister R. Streighart has been a busy man. Some of my old stories, I've found actually fit the guidelines to be posted here so I might clean them up to post, and some of the newer content seems to flow a bit easier than the more recently updated ones. Maybe I should just write what MY mood dictates and not the most asked for chapters.

I'll be updating my list of projects lower on the profile, just to give a bit of insight to just How many fics are floating around in my brain. Also if any fellow writers are on this site enough to chat feel free to PM. We could look over each other's work and pick each other's brain a bit.

Of Fox and Wolf

I TOTALLY botched it up. That fic is the epitome of OP OC and also a cheap deus ex character. In the beginning Naruto struggled due to chakra control. Bonding with Rend completely reams that issue though, and it would show. CRA is garbage unless used right and from my notes on the story, I wasn't going to. Hinata was the love interest and I will NEVER have her as the pairing even if I write 20 Naruto fics. There are WAAAAAYYY too many of them. Sorry fans of that story, but for me to make it work I'd basically have to rebuild it from the ground up which means...

My spirit as a writer simply cannot click with it anymore and I have tried at least five times every month to revisit it and revive it like my other dead fics.

January 16, 2016 Seven Deadly Sins(A look into the Human Psyche)

I've been stuck in a bit of an infinite loop recently. Real life has had me depressed for an ungodly while and it put a series of ideas in my head that I simply cannot shake. It's why the Of Fox and Wolf rewrite hasn't happened and also the father of the Overly Familiar storyline.

The Seven Deadly sins.

As humans at our worst we exemplify if not become avatars of the worst of the sins and I feel like as a reader, that I'd like to see some of my favorites tackle the subject. I'd be content if I could see my favs not only dive into the personalities of our favorite characters, but also analyze themselves for better or worse. We all know that most self inserts are wish fulfillment, but the idea has untapped potential in looking into yourself as a person to see your flaws and be willing to face them within your own fiction.

I have serious doubts that any of my personal favorites have even seen my profile to notice this semi-challenge, but I would love to see awe-inspiring story-tellers like Kenchi618 and Gabriel Blessing personally interacting and really melding with their stories. Not that it would have to make them villains, but it would add a new dimension of wonder to the heart they already place in their fiction.

That said, I know that this is at the foremost a HOBBY so I don't expect anyone to just hop onto the idea like its a job

To sum it up, I'm not the best of writers at all but I've already started with project myself. ANY Self-Insert story that I create will be an example of what I would be when driven by one of the Seven Deadly Sins. If any of my fans read this, try to guess which one each SI embodies.

Void's Overmind: I made a new author mistake here too. So in a hurry to get my "super awesome" idea out, I didn't flesh anything out enough. That and I allowed too much reader leeway into my story. I listen to my reviewers, but excess will eventually make your story become someone else's with you simply writing it for them. Rashaad Warrent as a character has an implicit duality that makes him work. His coping mechanism for many of the things that has happened in his life is keeping himself laughing, but he is by nature jaded. Writing him without showing either side would end up in writing an OC with Rashaad's name stamped on it which is doubly bad since he himself is an OC. The Rewrite which is already well underway will have his memories returning overtime, revealing his connection with Naruto and changing his perspective even more.

It's an iffy concept for most readers at best, but I have hope that the rewrite will be able to draw in more than the Familiar of Zero Noble Haters Club

Random Rant: Namikaze Naruto

This is probably more of a nitpick than anything but why take the only thing Naruto has of his mother besides is personality from him. Uzumaki Naruto gets, Namikaze Minato's teacher (Jiraiya), his self-created jutsu (Rasengan), his hair color, his dream, his summoning contract, and even his speed. Kushina is only credited for being the origin of Naruto's personality and being jinchuriki before him. Why is it that so many fanfic writers are so quick to pick the last name of an orphan (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong on this) over the last name of his mother, who was the last of a clan? His mother's already overlooked as it is in this fandom unless she's paired with her son, but seriously? Make Naruto a Minato clone and forget he had a mother altogether?

TLDR: Proud of his Hokage father or not, it makes little sense to forsake an entire clan name just because "pops is mad cool n shit"

High School DxD X Yu Yu Hakusho: Help Me! Kuwabara Sensei!! - A Spirit Detective at best and a helper of one at worst, Kuwabara Kazuma had to grow up one day. Kuwabara graduated high school and college, without neglecting his spiritual training, and became a teacher. His first job landed him in Kuoh Academy where he became the teacher of Koneko's history class. Mentor Kuwabara.

Naruto X Bleach: Karakura's Infestation. - During the Fourth Shinobi War, Obito grew wary of a young Aburame's insects, as they were strong enough to absorb even Juubi chakra though in small amounts. Misc Anime: Has This Guy Always Been This Strange? - Crack. Random collection of fiction where anime characters become...different. Tsukune probably shouldn't have visited America. Keitaro woke up as a Kuudere esper. Since when was Issei an African American? Link is a little too determined to save the Oracle of Seasons. Light hearted bits of insanity I should probably feel bad for thinking up. M for general bad behavior

Naruto: Omega Mart - Crack with some sense of direction. Darius Wilks is in so desperate a need of a job, he applied at Omega Mart, the largest and most utterly insane store in creation. The workers there are insane and even worse, they all constantly are seen doing things no human should be capable of. But he needed the money and they accepted his application. But how will he survive in a place where the associates can breathe fire? (Real World Fic where Naruto characters retain ALL their powers at their strongest.. Madara and Obito can go Rikudo Mode. Many dead shinobi aren't dead with no explanation)(Think WalMart with ultra-powerful shinobi manning the registers)

OC Report. (Cause I would hate for someone who didn't read one of the other stories to be lost if he appears in the story they follow)

Rashaad Warrent: A six-foot tall eighteen year old who focused his mind enough to manipulate his own energy. His build is slightly athletic and his chocolate skin matches his natural eye color (his left eye's color becomes green once his ocular skill manifests). Rashaad keeps his dark brown hair wild to mimic his favorite character Jin from Yu Yu Hakusho. He is the main character of the video game "Overmind: Beyond Human Limits" within my Naruto stories.

His life went downhill as he attempted to show his unusual skills to the news, as his friend suggested. Most of the viewers automatically dismissed him as a fool and others thought him slightly loopy for it. He assaulted the friend who set him up which led to assault charges, which were quickly dropped with the promise of teaching his skills to a few soldiers stationed nearby. The promise was that they would try to return his living situation to normal if he successfully teaches others. But even this was ill fated, as once he finished teaching others he was targeted to be eliminated. With the events after he became targeted, he lost much of the mental stability he once had. Because of that, he tends to be quite sadistic at times and rarely ever follows ANYONE's orders. Rashaad tends to be attracted to personalities that are far from normal and spends most of his time dealing in things that are interesting.

Skills:

Energy Manipulation - The more he practices and trains, the more skill he has with allowing his energy to exist in ways to help him

Crystal Tech: Dis-illusive Sight - After a few brushes with death, his energy crystallizes into an emerald green substance that surrounds his left eye in a open clawed shaped and tails the edge of his jaw line. Dis-illusive Sight allows Rashaad to effectively analyze the enemy and the composition of their attacks. (requires skill and experience to draw out more thorough information)

Energy Pulse - A seemingly simple technique that pushes away negative forces and can be used to inject one's energy into another person or object.
