As of 3/18/2012 I am still alive, but find that working full time and ten hour days has killed my muse. I still enjoy Xander and american comic books (though I'm half mad at DC for the reboot and invalidating so much of the comics I enjoyed growing up), but I have also begun to enjoy magna and some anime.

Will I continue to write fanfiction? Yes if only to finish the stories I have begun. Every now and then I get a review on one of my stories that hasn't been updated in years and I can't help but look over the story again, and if I'm lucky that will let me write another half page or so.

Recomended Reading/Watching; AKA things I have enjoyed in my life that I hope you will enjoy as well:

THe Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I own every book in paperback and I doubt I will ever say that about another series.

The Castle in the Attic. First book that I ever read on my own instead of having it read to me. I doubt I would enjoy it as much as an adult as I did as a child but it will always hold a place in my heart as my first.

The Incarnations of Imortality series by Piers Anthony. A series I SHOULD own completly. Honestly it's on my list of things to buy the next time I go and binge on books.

The Myth and Phule series by Robert Asprin. These series makes me laugh every time I read them, at least the early stuff. The situations are so out there that it's halfway to crack humor thats so previlant in fanfic.

Good Omens and Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman. Good Omens because I enjoyed the dry British humor, and Neverwhere because it is a book that I enjoyed as a dark, depressed, strange teen that I also enjoy as a not quite as dark and depressed, but still very strange adult. Also read his Sandman comics because they were forged from pure creative awesome.

Code Geass. Just finished watching this anime and it's one of the few animes that I would recomed on its own rather than point you towards the magna.

FullMetal Alchemist, or FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood for the anime. Yeah this was what sucked me into the world of anime and magna. Had a few scenes written down of a crossover with this, but they haven't matured into a full story. May have to post the scenes like so many of my favorite fanfic authors are doing.

Rising Stars by Michael Straczynski. We are now firmly into Amarican comics. I don't think I could write a fanfic about this simply because everything works togeter so well that I can't seem to bring myself to play the what if game to see where things would go if I threw a stone to begin an avalanch.

Boneyard by Richard Moore. The is the ONLY comic that my dad was just as interisted in as I was. It only came out once every three months but when that happened he would read it right after me (and at times before me) and we would spend the next half hour talking and laughing about Abby the vampire, the trekkie demon, the greaser werewolf, and many other enjoyable characters.

Invincible as pubished by Image comics. Finally a superhero comic that isn't only not afraid of character development but activly embraces it. I have the entire story to date either in graphic novel form or single issues. Been rereading it lately so there is no way it couldn't make this spontanious list.

Well there you have it. For those fans of my fans that may care (all five of you) this is a small snapshot of where I am at this moment in time. Now because I'm feeling so chatty I'm going to work on some stories before I return to my usual unproductive self.
